    The subtle grey of the hares mask is one the secret gems additions to nymph buzzer or emergers. Overlooked by many novices

    Hey Davie, another great video. Please forgive me if you have done a video on this before, but, would you mind tying the Straddlebug Mayfly? I saw a version in Charles Jardine's classic Guide to Flyfishing for trout.

    Another nice pattern just quick question when your fishing a river what's your go to hook size ? Is it 12 then maybe drop to 14 if nothing catching ? As I've been told from various fishermen go up a size and others down a size like if I'm nymphing or using spiders etc I prefer a 14 on a spider pattern as a general starting point
