- This video is all about shop and mobile tool storage with @Festool Systainers made by Tanos. #vanracking #festool #tools
The Festool Sys3 Rails are a great way to utilize the side indents on the Gen3 Systainers! I touch on the Festool drawers as well as a storage option that works for all systainers and requires no additional hardware.
You can support my channel by using the following links for purchasing the rails or drawers shown in the video!

Excellent video Ronnie. I have a few set laying around. Your video has motivated me and inspired me to make some more storage cabinets and use my rails🙌
Thanks Patrick! I did the same had them in the package for a while before I put them to use. I really like them a lot! It's quick and easy!
Thank you this is a great video and I am going to do them like you have in your van but in my shop. Happy Holidays.
It works great and is super easy! Good luck!
great video!
Thanks!
Thanks for showing me;)
Thanks for watching!
Maybe Jason could slice you some hotdog spacers for these on his new saw?!?!
Niceeee
Thanks!
Where did you get your work apron? great Idea for the van.
Leather by dragonfly - they are awesome! @leatherbydragonfly thanks!
If you have any questions please don’t t hesitate to ask
Looking good, how much did you pay for the draw slides and do you have a parts number for them?
$40 for a set of 4 - I have an Amazon link in the description for them for more info and if you want you can order from there.
Are you able to open the systainer lid when you pull the systainer forward on these rails? I know with the Sys drawers you can pull the systainer forward and open the lid without removing the systainer from the Sys drawers. I think these Sys rails are a good solution being light weight and easy to install. Thanks for the info.
You can't quite pull them all the way out to do that. They remove so easily, I just turn around and set on my bench remove and replace. A lot of times I am taking the entire systainer. I use the drawer systainers for smaller part storage and they work great in the system I built.
I can’t see these rails on the Festool website!!
Yes. They are very hard to source. BOTT also make them if that helps.
@@SingleTrack66 okay thank you
Systainer³ Rails SYS3-SN/4, Part # 204871, this a set of four. Currently $43.
All the Best, Chuck. 😎
@@toolchuck I’m in Scotland, we can’t get them here as Bott has rights or something
A lot easier to just get Dewalt boxes that have built in drawers and are stackable. Top access doesn't work for stackable boxes because chances are what you need is in the bottom box 😮
I have Festool drawer units as well all are stackable. The rails allow you to have stacks in the shop and van without worrying about what's on top just slide it out and open.
