It's idiotic to say that previous era players were great and current players are mediocre.It shows how little you know about this game. One one hand you talk about how difficult the pitch was in past hence the batsman were great,on the other hand you talk about how great those bowlers are while playing on those same bowler friendly pitches. Counter argument can be made that same sort of bowlers will be thrashed in current condition. Apart from Thompson was there any fast bowlers in Imran Khan's time? I love Imran khan being from India. I grew up in that era of the '80s. It was a treat to watch him and Kapildev. Both were the best players in the history of Era. They both kept their emotions in check. They don't get excited and go wild compare to today's cricketers when they take tickets.
