- Wasim Akram, Abdul Razzaq and Team Pakistan put on an amazing fight back and match goes to a intensely thrilling finish. This was Coca Cola Champion Trophy in 1999 in Sharjah. This match was played between Paksitan and Srilanka on October 15th.

I still recall that I went to bed that night after Sri crossed 150 😢. First thing in the morning my buddy rang me to chat about the match to my shock. Pakistan, when they play, are simply unstoppable. Hats off to the team.

It is not about including Aamar Sohail in batting line-up. When AUS were bowled out in finals of 1999WC for less score, stalwart batsmen of Pakistan never took up the mantle of chasing it carefully and bundled out. There are Inzamam, Shahid Afridi, Abdur Razzaq further low down the orderto bat well also. Pak bowling was exceptionally well, I really felt happy the way they restricted AUS to less total,but sadly didn't capitalise.
