    I feel a little bad for Carlos, when he crossed the finish line there were only 6 or 7 mechanics on the fence celebrating for him, while Perez in P2 had around double the number of people. I understand that the team might be frustrated or disappointed with the strategy for Charles, but I hope the team can rally together to support both our drivers. We the fans will continue to support the team and both drivers on good or bad weekends alike!

    9 people celebrating for Carlos excluding Caco. absolutely embarrassing behaviour from y'all if you compare that to how many other people have supported their drivers and celebrated them for their first win. the internal politics and culture it's shining through even more now and it's disgraceful. Checo p2 had way more people celebrating him too. a ferrari win is still a ferrari win even though y'all messed up. Carlos deserves so much better. don't even get me started on Charles. he also deserves so much better. both drivers do.

    First of all thanks to those 6-7 mechanics for completely supporting Carlos and celebrating his victory.. I don't care what Tifosi thinks.. whether Charles was faster than Carlos or not.. Carlos deserved that win.. he was at pole he was faster throughout the quali.. and we all have seen how team puts Charles first even though when they say they don't have number 1&2.. Carlos is here to win too and it was a good decision to think for himself for once.. it was really lovely to see Rupert too with all the desperation in his eyes to see Carlos win. And whether Ferrari liked it or not.. Carlos winning was celebrated throughout the paddock and on social media. This was the best race and Carlos winning was the best moment of the year. People appreciated it.. we loved it! 🧡❤️

He went immediately to congratulate Carlos, celebrated with him, even in a very frustrating weekend. He’ll be champion, I’m absolutely sure. Ferrari needs to keep learning from their mistakes, keep improving, and championships will come. Remember where they were a few years ago. Forza Ferrari!

    [LONG COMMENT]
    Knowing this comment section may soon be filled with discussions, I would like to offer my two cents (I know, nobody asked but respectful discourse is appreciated):
    - Charles drove like a legend and clearly had the pace to get the pole & win despite the spin and then the bit of damage he took on. His less-than-overjoyed reaction is justified because the win was taken from him by no fault of his own again.
    BOTTOM LINE: He deserves better from the team.
    - Carlos truly had all the stars aligned for him this race week, but it does not mean he didn’t put in the hard work. He has capitalized on the opportunity to finally take his first pole & win. It is a shame that there is lingering disdain for this milestone due to rumored (or confirmed?) internal issues.
    BOTTOM LINE: He also deserves better from the team.
    Both our drivers have been working hard to do their best and keep improving. However, since Miami, there have been so many problems that arose and have been damaging to the team and to our drivers, especially to Charles.
    It must also be said that blaming Carlos is not the way to go (yes, there are some voices doing so, thankfully not so many but they exist). Bringing the other driver down does nothing for the team. In the end, I hope Ferrari can become more accountable and learn from this!
    TL;DR Elated for Carlos! Gutted for Charles. Concerned for Ferrari. We really hope Ferrari can get it together as a team and be truly united, because perceptions right now are all over the place and it’s hurting both sides of the garage…

Even saw some comments calling him selfish this race-which isn't true, in fact, what he did was more than just a damage limitation. we wouldn't have seen a ferrari P1 if it weren't for him overriding the strat call. and mate, if yall think calling him selfish will make him a less of a driver, well every racing driver have that mentality in them. and he has every right to fight for that first win just like everyone else does. this is racing. it just so happened another mishap on strategy calls went in the way of charles but hating and disrespecting a very special moment of another driver will never benefit the team. we should be glad we even got to see a ferrari on that podium despite the failed strategy.

      Solo hizo un error con un coche que en cada curva se va de de atrás si Ferrari no hiciera sus coches con el estilo de conducción de Charles no cometería errores basta de tanta prioridad a Charles, Carlos puede ganarle y de hecho el año pasado lo hizo

    Great strategy, great win. Although some "fans" don't understand that this was the only way to have a Ferrari driver winning as anything else like double stack or having Charles pit instead Carlos rather ended up in P3+4 result as neither could have pulled away and Carlos could not hold up Hamilton & Checo on much older tires if he had not pitted and even on new tires Charles would have lost out anyway on his own and without DRS and Hamilton instant on his tail. Congrats to Carlos! Forza Ferrari. Well deserved. Vamos!

    • @jinoss1768
      @jinoss1768 Před 2 lety +5

      Double stack would have given a 1-2 to Ferrari or at worst 1-3. Both are better than 1-4

    • @andrearojas1248
      @andrearojas1248 Před 2 lety +1

      @@jinoss1768 There was no way for 1+2. Lewis and Checo were clearly faster than both Ferrari before and after the safety car no matter what tires they had on. Carlos had massive understeer problems and Carlos had a damaged front wing. If Carlos not already dropped back on double stack then they past him right on the restart anyway. He couldn't hold up Max earlier either. So Lewis and Checo would been right behind Charles and as soon as DRS was enabled they'd also past him even on new softs.
      The only way to win was having Carlos pit because he had much older tires than Charles and keep Charles out to guarantee track position 1+2 on restart so Carlos could pull away before Checo could catch him. Yet Checo catch up on him 1.5 sec within last 3 laps. Two more laps and Red bull would have still won.

      @@andrearojas1248 Double stack was easy, just do what mercedes always does. Let the second driver back up to the top of the delta. They would've had a 6-9 second gap between charles and carlos for a double stack. Would have been easy. It just shows Ferrari strategy team are too risk averse/aggressive and are not daring to make the decision.

    • @andrearojas1248
      @andrearojas1248 Před 2 lety +2

      @@DK-vw1of Carlos could not stay long in P2 even if the double stack worked. He had massive oversteer problems so he needed Charles as Wingman. Charles would been on his own with Checo and Hamilton coming with DRS. New tires would have likely not saved him either so the chance that Ferrari would have lost the race was very high at least.

      @@andrearojas1248 Charles managed to battle Hamilton and Perez while on old hards and with damaged. If they pitted him for softs, there's absolutely 100% chance he's on the podium. The fact that make up these scenarios show how subjective (guessing by the name, you're spanish/speaking) you are.
