Did the bear really mean furry like the fandom? Man that game didn't age well. Though it seems furries were always bad ever since when they started in the 1970s & now they got much more attention & much more hate since the 2010s. Ironically enough, some subscribers of the Vinesauce channels are furries. And some Furries I've seen are really huge fans of Vinesauce. By the way the game was released in 2007, which was probably a big year for LGBTQ and there was a cringe-inducing Furry animation uploaded to YT that year.

I think it's awesome how Vinny keeps all of the shovelware that he has and has not yet previously streamed. It kind of adds some extra value to them, as we all hold a connection to Vinny and the games themselves.

Oh my god I have that Build-A-Bear Workshop game on my DS, I remember genuinely enjoying it as a kid.

Oh man, My Sims Agents... My out-of-touch aunt gave me that game for Christmas one year, it was all kinds of terrible.
My out-of-touch aunt gave me Dogz... It's cute, but extremely boring...
She also gave her kids a PS2, which basically all of their classmates had, for Christmas in 2006 in hopes it'd make them popular. Of course nobody came especially for it... If she had given a Wii or 360 (PS3 was delayed until early 2007 in Europe) they've had at least something new and exciting to show...
I got it many moons ago. It was enjoyable enough when I was young enough to not really care. It was for the wii as well so it was a slightly better version.
I remember the MySims games on Wii were decent, Agents was especially charming but all the DS versions were terrible though.
You should see Peanut Butter Gamer's series on My Sims. Ugh.
The least bad one is My Sims Kingdom. Only because they put some actual thought and effort into the characters. Like, they have arcs instead of just being a personality to fill a quota.
My aunt actually gave me a Spongebob game (Supersponge) for the GBA because she and her husband really enjoyed the series. It was the only Spongebob game I was able to beat as a young kid so I have a soft spot for it for that reason alone. It's literally Fetch Quest: The Game because Mermaid Man and Barnacle Boy don't really want to deal with Spongebob, but any other Spongebob game I couldn't beat. They were too hard for me. Some of you may not believe that, but to be fair, I was quite young and my skills hadn't developed yet. I am sure if I were to return to them, I could probably play much further.
I actually had that build-a-bear game as a kid and all I could remember was "painting" the house because that was the only enjoyable moment for me

I have no idea why, but I found that Lalaloopsy game oddly adorable.
Lalaloopsy is definitely one of those toys not designed to appeal to kids, but to appeal to adults trying to appeal to kids. I bet there's a lot of kids who had nightmares about these dolls from Coraline

I own several My Sims games. They all feel almost good. At least I remember them that way. They were my younger sisters and I only played them when I was really bored.
MySims Kingdom was actually fairly fun for a while, but about halfway through the repetition of "find x material" loses steam. The writing and characters were amusing but the whole "build your own home" bit doesn't come up until WAY too late.
the wii game was pretty fun but the DS versions were soooo lacking. when i was a kid my sims DS was alright but so much more limited than the wii version and i didnt have the patience to get into my sims kingdom. i played so many shit games when i was bab and even i could tell they kinda sucked

I actually really loved playing the my sims agents game, maybe it was because I was younger and/or that was the only fun ds game I had. But i saw this here and was really surprised to see so many people who hate the game

My sims agents, the WOWP game, and the build a bear game I all had. I still hold very near and dear nostalgia for most of the mysims on the ds, though the other two were way better when I was younger 💀

I remember My Sims Agents, and I remember actually finishing it. I think I had Kingdom and Agents on DS when I was in middle school, and I was perfectly fine with them, to the point where I got them(or at least Kingdom, since I found Agents in a box I had in my closet)used for really cheap sometime last year because I wanted to see if they held up any, and for me, they're good for a distraction every now and then, but at this point I have much better games that I can play.
I love kingdom as well but I didn't finish it as a kid cause I was scared of the tennis minigame and my ds eventually died
The Frogger game is basically the grid based gameplay of the Frogger Adventures game with the overworld of any generic monster competition DS game.
With the NPCs you meet, I was kinda hoping it was like a more cutesy MegaMan Battle Network type game with frogs.

i never played MySims series but i always thought it's design is kinda cute.
It's rather cute. The aesthetic is rather crisp and consistent and clearly some work and love went into it. It fulfils it's role as babby's first gaem.
It's got nice aesthetics but there's no substance to any of it. You're better off just playing an actual Sims game.

god I miss this series. I get that it could only go on so long, but shovelware/egglikes/corruptions are what got me into vinny in the first place so many years ago. would be nice to see one again just for old times sake.

That Frogger game had a whole lot of potential in its concept with making your own toy and competing it against other toys.

I really miss this segment, I hope he returns to it someday, it was by far one of my favorite Vinesauce segments he’s ever done.
These games were so boring they killed the segment lol. I honestly think this was the worst batch yet. These games were so awful. Like not even funny bad for the most part. I guess Frogger was kind of interesting for how batshit insane it's premise is but that's it.
It's all kinds of joy when there's an M&M's game for shovelware showcase.

I looked up more gameplay from that Frogger game. It does improve slightly, there's a little more variety in gameplay... but that first level is REALLY lackluster compared to the first levels of even the *GBA games* that preceeded it. Frogger's Adventures this is not.

Seeing all these games always makes me so glad that I rarely ever got licensed video games as a kid.
I guess one of the benefits of growing up working-class was that I had to be VERY picky about what games I rented or bought.
I played that iron chef america game as a kid and ended up playing it again in like 2017, and it was still pretty fun.

I'm one of the many people who use your videos as sort of background sound but mostly I watch them normally, this was the case of me having it as background sound. During that m&m game I didn't know what was going on because I put my phone brightness down and my funky ass brain decided to associate those noise with a uh.. sidescroller with a Japanese ninja in white attire with a blue belt having a primary attack of kicking.
Aspiring game devs need to watch this without skipping or looking away. They need to learn how not to start a game.

I actually remember really enjoying My Sims Agents when I grew up. I was like 5 years old so I had no idea what the Sims is, but I actually enjoyed this game. From what I remember there were some really cool puzzles in it for a kid’s game, and it was almost like Animal Crossing in how you could customize the town with objects you collect, visit different events at different times of the day, it was actually a pretty decent game

@@lol500000 it's a living. At the very least, from what I've heard, most of their licensed games were still good for what they were. Their GBC work was especially impressive, given they had similar animation to Shantae.

I loved Carnival of Friends back in the day. I was an avid collector of Lalaloopsy dolls, and the game was super fun for me in general. It was much more fun than this other Lalaloopsy game I had.
As a kid I played that build a bear game more times than I’d like to admit. The 2 club penguin ds games too.

Frist of all how dare u. Also the ending of Drawn to Life was the first game to ever make me cry, and the original ending of the sequel had to be edited in the “collection” rerelease for violent content. I’m serious. (Spoiler: the original ending was that the whole 2 games was a hallucination that a girl had after suffering a concussion from a car crash, where her parents and presumably little brother died. The final words of the game are “God, please bring my little brother back to me.” This was toned down in the collection version to the much less dramatic narrative of her having the dream after falling off a tree and hitting her head, with her parents and little brother unaffected.) also I think the final boss theme for both games is homage to Newborn by Muse and the villain’s main theme is a homage to Clint Eastwood by Gorillaz and there’s also another song in the second one that sounds like Closer by Nine Inch Nails. the games seems like it would be a shovelware but they’re actually good and I still wish for a Switch port or another game now that THQ Nordic has the rights (I think) and they’ve been reviving a lot of unexpected franchises they own the rights to, there was an iOS port of the first game but it kinda sucked and it isn’t even supported by the newest iOS anymore. but that was it.
