I feel so sorry for Vinny. He aims to entertain us, but every time he does these Shitshow Showcase or Shovelware Showcase streams he ends up finding the worst examples of a medium he loves.

And that's why he played Doom, and Mario Sunshine, and is currently playing Pokémon Moon. He does one-offs of this shit, and then he gets his rewards; real games.

They did actually make some decent games around the past, believe it or not. Granted, some of them were still genuinely awful (remember Rise of The Robots?), but they also had some decent ones as well, such as Lego Rock Raiders. However, once they tried and failed miserably to revive the Zool franchise, _that's_ when they decided to reskin many of their shitty games over and over again beyond all belief!

Also it's assumed that he owns the circus, so wouldn't he be able to sell it for more money if the circus was doing well. And it's not like the tents are perminent and can't be easily moved

"It appears an ancient ritual takes place here" is there any explanation why this line of text exist in Kawasaki Jetski (more like Nagasaki Jet Bombing, because that's how I feel after watching it). The sound comes around 1:18:20 and I demand a fcking explanation why it exist in that game.

The funny thing is I was binge watching the earlier episodes of Shovelware Showcase the day this was streamed. I was halfway through part 10 when it started. I may have inadvertently manifested trash.
Just call it "Data Design Display" already.

Circus Games is like an experiment in making a game with nothing but royalty-free/public domain assets.
We could locate the former CEO of Data Design Interactive and donate money to him. When he starts up his company anew we can point to a clause in the contract that accompanied the donation that says that the donators are free to withdraw their funding at any point. At which point the man is left with a newly built up company, an office, a staff of employees, no money whatsoever, and a pile of debts that will take the next ten years of his life to pay off.And when he drives home that evening he discovers the ten meter tall styrofoam Ninjabread man we had delivered to his house just hours beforehand.
There are so many games by Data Design Interactive that are just a re-skin of Trixie in Toyland that I forgot which one was the original.

In circus games the story is, that a family goes to the circus, their tickets are blown away into the scary dark void of the forest, so their son sneaks into the circus grounds, eves drops on a Ringleader who at first is like “Aw no one cares about the circus,” but suddenly changes his outlook for no reason and is talking to a “School Uniform Factory owner.” Cause...90’s super villains are after this circus for some reason????

When every car drives head on towards you it makes you think you should be on the opposite lane. Granted the game's made pretty shittily but if people in the UK know to drive on the right lane in games set in America then why don't Americans do the same for games in the UK? Sure there's a lack of them but, y'know.

Data Design actually made Lego Rock Raiders for PC which is actually a pretty good game, probably their only good game!

I like how the baby toy game is literally the same game as Rock and Roll Adventures with different textures and models. Literally the exact same game.

I haven't watched the video yet but just looking at the game list i see true horror... The return of Data Design... a reskin of Ninjabread Man... looking at the time codes I'm not surprised he only plays it for a few minutes (probably realizing it's like Ninjabread Man, not even getting past the tutorial)

According to Wikipedia, Data Design Interactive was actually founded in 1983. It's surprising that they're THAT old. But it seems they didn't really shit out so much shovelware until they started making Wii games. Then finally went of business in 2012. I can't believe they started the company in the early 80's, which, mind you, is when videos really started becoming popular. And I can't believe they survived for nearly 30 years before they finally got shut down.

The track from Rig Racer is eerily similar to Mario Raceway from Mario Kart N64- the layout is almost a carbon copy, and they both have a weird sandy area with signs.
this was the same engine that made burnout 3 and GTA SA
