To explain SDs in Breaker 3, you had an AI companion that was specifically using SD models. You could only change the whole model (started as a Knight Gundam, but you could get Musha, Command, and some others) and its color scheme. So being able to actually have full kits and add them to the roster is a BIG step up.
To explain the reason for people wanting the option parts to have separate cooldowns:
That's kinda how it was in previous Gundam Breaker games. In Gundam Breaker 3 for example: each Option part could be individually set to active and be used like a sort of special weapon with it's own individual ammo bar. And while having them all individually selectable in the way Breaker 4 does it is quite nice (it's a similar system to how EX skills were handled), making them all have the same cool down severely limits their usability, and in a game where the freedom to creative is a massive draw, not being able to the option parts independently of each other (which having a shared cooldown prevents) is not something that meshes well.
I wonder if Option Melee Weapons have cooldowns or not. In GB3, they had no cooldown and were treated as another melee attack. I'm curious if they're treated as a skill and perform a quick auto combo or something along those lines. Hope not. I like having Anti Ship Swords on the shoulders and switching to them for an awesome combo.

I'm also VERY glad that they walked back that dumb ass option cool down. Like, why would I want to use my vulcans if it locks me out of using funnels, arm missiles, shoulder cannons, and my other options for the same amount of time? What's the point of options that literally take your options away?
For what i saw on the dev stream what they did is more of a hybrid of how the option cooldown works in Breaker 3 and the network test, they will only have an universal cooldown if said abilities are in the same part but i might be wrong my japanese isn't the best soo we will see when we get either another test or the full game

The different OP cooldown is important. My build from breaker 3 was showering the enemies with funnels and missiles, it would be harder to make it work if i could only use one part per cooldown.

As an SD kit enjoyer, the 2012+ Legend BB Senshi lineup is a great SD kit representation for the game.
EX skills share a bar from which they draw points from upon use, they do not have cooldowns but stronger EX skills typically consume more points. You can spam EX skills as long as you have enough points in the EX bar.
Option parts now have separate cooldowns. You can’t use them as much individually, but using one of them does not inhibit the use of the other Option parts. It seems like stronger Option parts will have larger cooldowns, based on the previous version.

So good to see both the Leo and Zaku Warrior, so many build ideas I have for them already. Could do something similar to the builds in Breaker 3 I have done with the Zudah and Gouf.

So excited for this game. Just debating whether to get the physical release or digital deluxe. Hopefully if i get physical i can still buy the deluxe upgrade as dlc or something.
Many of the "new" units, for the most part, especially the witch from mercury those models were from the mobile version when they celebrated witch from Mercury's release. As well as certain SDs. Though I'll be surprised if they added the exclusive mobile suits that were on the mobile version like Code Sora, code phi and other exclusive units.
It would be nice if they could use that as an excuse to make Bandai finally create official kits for them
i loved the grind in gb3 with parts and combining them to get the stats..like adding a solar reactor to other parts than the og suits...
the parts scaling is cool... well done

Sets I really hope get added:
G Fighter: Maxter and Bolt. Gotta round out that Shuffle Alliance roster. Having the Speigel (Shadow) and Hurricane would be nice too.
Wing: Aries and Taurus to have all the OZ grunt suits. The Mercurius and Vayeate would also be pretty cool to see.
SEED/Destiny: Dagger and Windam since we don’t have any Earth Alliance grunt suits. Maybe the Chaos, Abyss, and Gaia, even though they’re not really my favorite suits.
00: Union Flag, Enact, and Teiren for the S1 grunt suits, all 3 Throne units, and maybe the Anf or Exia Repair as a unique bonus.
Build Fighters: Basically all the suits used by major characters (ie. Wing Fenice, Sengoku Astray, Exia Dark Matter, ect.).
Abyss got confirmed (portrait visible in parts list), Gaia and Chaos are likely in as well.
Option part cool downs being separated is a fantastic move, this was my only real issue with what had been shown. (Beyond me wanting shoulders and waists to be separated parts from legs and arms, Oh and G-Saviour put GS in it).
SD customization was actually in Gundam Breaker Mobile before this. While the scaling looked ridiculous, you could use SD parts with any other part (even the 1/100 scale stuff) in GBM. I think one of the SD swords had a popular Cutscene EX skill.
I really hope we see some of the advanced IBO stuff, like the Shwalbe Grazes, the Asteroth variants, and the OVA movie suit from the IBO mobile game (plus some of the other Gundam frames from that game)

Oh thank goodness the OP skill shared cooldown is going away. That was the one thing I was super worried about. OP skills add weapon options to your gundam; unlike EX skills which are like special moves, OP skills are extra attacks, like an extra gun, sword, missile pods, head vulcans, etc. In GB3, some didn't even have cooldowns or immediate cooldowns. For example, head vulcans and similar op skills had magazines for ammo and the cooldown would kick in after you exhausted the magazine, like a reload. Sword option parts didn't have cooldowns at all but instead let you use extra swords, so you could have a beamsaber in your primary melee weapon slot, but actually carry a mace into battle as an option part and use that more than your primary saber. So having them all share a cooldown severely hampers gameplay as you'll be more or less limited to your primary weapons alone, it would kill flexibility fo gameplay style.
as someone who also collects SD Gunpla this is an awesome addition to the roster.
in a dev stream they changed the option cooldowns to be individual, great news they are listening to make the game better

I wanted them to give more customizations for the arms and shoulders. Like, to be able to change the shoulders and arm parts for Shining Gundam and God Gundam. I made a live combination of combining both gundams together. It is pretty dope. I hope they can update that to be a feature. If not, I’ll be so sad but still play it.

OP skills sounds to me like plainly just getting to use the option parts, like you could do pretty freely in GB3, while the EX actions are special moves like burning finger or special systems like Trans-Am and MEPE or such

You know... even with all the stuff they added, there still needs to be more representation from other shows. The fact that Victory Gundam and variants are the only things from Victory in these games is very disappointing. Same thing with all the other series that aren't named SEED.

Here's the thing about EX Skills and OP Skill Cooldowns.
EX Skills are basically skills that are originally tied to a weapon, but once mastered can be on any weapon, an example is Blade Wave, which is tied to 1 handed swords but once mastered, can be used even by spears or whips.
OP Skills/ Optional Part Equipment are skills tied to optional parts in general. Like say, most Gundam heads have head vulcans, that's one OP Skill already. Kshatriya arms basically have 3 IIRC, the funnels, the beam sabers and the wrist guns. So if you say, shot the wrist gun, you could still fire off the funnels until it's duration ran out and it went into cooldown, without losing access to using the beam sabers and wrist guns. The way it was demonstrated, it's like if you fired your head vulcan, you couldn't use any other OP Skill despite them being different slots.
The thing about Optional Parts is that you can add things to a Gunpla it normally wouldn't have, like ZZ's Hi-Mega Cannon as an optional part, Sword Strike's Schwert Gewehr anti-ship swords, even I-Field discs to add an I-Field to say, a Zaku. Having them all of a global cooldown kind of kills the speed of the game, especially at endgame which lets you really go to town.
I guess the easiest way to see it would be see older GB3 builds in action. Especially the ones who make full use of all the weapons and OP gear they attached to their gunpla. My personal recommendation would be the YT channel "zxyu0369".

I’m just want to say the Gunpla list on the website says ‘and more’ at the end of the list so there may be more Gunpla in the base game not listed. I want my Graze Ritter and ZAKU Phantom(s) damnit!
One thing that worried me the most when the game was first announced was when it said it features 250+ mobile suits
Because 250 is the same amount NGB had
And when they released the official list, I was correct with my worry as a great majority of them are carryovers with only less than 20 units being new
I’m quite disappointed that we only get 2 WFM kits (but even the mobile game only had those two too) and I worry that all else will be DLC

No cuts is super nice and like a lot of the additions. Finally getting Leo from Wing be usable is super nice to me. Would have been nice to get a mobile doll unit but beggars cant be choosers
The SDs in 3 were basically only AI allies and you could only set which straight build they are and some bonuses for having them with you. 3 also had pre set up color schemes to pick from as well, though seems to have been from a much smaller list.
Each optional part having its own cooldown is nice to hear. EX skills are pretty much super attacks while optionals are things that actually have to be attached to your suit to use. EX skills are linked to your chosen melee and guns while optionals are things built into your suit itself. Like for Nobel with its beam hoola hoops or funnels from the Nu Gundam backback. Gameplaywise putting them all on the same cooldown massively limits combo opportunities since using one would shut off the rest of them which stinks for some units that have a bunch of built in weaponry like Heavyarms or Full Armor.
I think a reason why Penelope wasn't added was because of it being a combination of both a mobile armor and the Gundam Odysseus could have made it a bit difficult to add and program because by default both need to be represented
I know little about breaker, UT as a switch owner and fan of the build fighters anime I have a lot to wonder, including how good solo play is, is it online only, and is there a campaign.

For Humble Bundle, I've been told they've done this before, and they do honor the price and simply eat the difference.
I don't think that list in Japanese official website is full because as far as I remember they said specifically that we intend to release the few name of the suits that are in this game in our official website after this small live broadcast. Not full maybe it is full maybe it's half at this time we can't say anything let's wait till July and then we can confirm it's full list.

I like that you can kitbash but I want to kitbash a bit more.
Like adding the raiser wing with gn-drives to Kshatryias wings with a semi meld in setting.
Switching out the gundams v crests for others like giving the destiny gundam the harutes.
Im not sure if they add the harute if the waist pylons count as a a backpack, I do think that the 2 should be theyre own separate parts.
Even the hands they're own thing so as if you wanted beam claws like the Gadeleza.
It would be cool if they deepened the kitbash capability of the game so we could make our dream design.
I already have the rest of the kitbash I want to build irl in my head and this game will give me at least somewhat of an idea of what it will partially look like.
BTW can anyone tell me what the Japanese word for a queen of thorns is because thats the name ill name my kitbash.

So since we’re not gonna get a dynasty, Warriors Gundam or Gundam Musso game, I plan on getting Gundam breaker for. I played a little of Gundam breaker one as much compared to the Gundam Musso.
I think they know the G-witch stuff will push DLC sales big time so that’s why they’re holding off for. Ow. Do kind of think they could have thrown a couple of grunts like the Demi trainer or zowort in there but it is what it is. It’s not like this game’s going to have a shortage of kits in it on launch with everything they’re pulling over from prior games, and the amount of new editing gimmicks alone is going to enable the creation of so many new options that weren’t there before.

Nope, only efreet is the Custom. There's a full list of everything in NGB in the steam community tab, everything in that list is in GB4 plus what I mentioned in this video.

The real question tho....I personnally want to buy the standard version but i glance pass the deluxe version and its say its has season pass...i mean its quite expensive in my country...all i want to know is the season pass is optional or mandatory?
Season pass gets you more gunpla and missions. It's optional, but you'll probably want at least some of the kits.
I gonna confuse about co-op, there's online pvp or just pvc in only GB4? I see there's online pvp in NGB on steam, but there's no online pvp in GB4 on steam.
