oh my god this is amazing. I got regular/custom blendshapes but I didn't get the other outfits. Thank you so much!
Glad it helped! ^^
Thank you for this! i managed to add 4 outfit toggles so far (and will probably add more in the future) because of this!
How awesome! Glad you were able to make good use of it 😊
This is GAME CHANGING! Thank you!!! 💜
Thank you! :) I hope it was worth the wait!
Thank you so much for your tutorials! Genuinely, they have helped with my own model & now I will be eventually making & selling my own! :>
Thank you so much! :D
Awesome! Good luck with your business 🙂
@@LadyAska Thank you so much!! :>
Thank you very much for your wonderful tutorial! ♥
I am glad it's helpful! :D
Amazing thank you !
すごいです!衣装複数作ったら実装してみます!

im happy im foundin out about this
I am glad it's helpful! Have fun with it ^^
This is amazing! I wonder if something similar can be done with hair? Like having a model go from having their hair down to swapping to having twin tails or something like that. Or would that be too complicated since hair has so many pieces?
We are still working at it...so far we can get hair to change, but we can't get the new hair to move like the old one.
So the bones don't transfer over yet.
If we figure it out, you'll see it here first 😊👍
I was thinking of hwo to make it so you can have to av on the same screen or to follow the other models looking and head movements
Great video! I've learned most of what I know about Vroid from you ^^.
Is there a way to make this method work for Unity/VRChat? I've look everywhere and no one seems to have a video about Vroid to Unity clothes toggles specifically.
IHello! I am so glad you find these videos helpful!
I sadly never got to test that with VRchat but could research it over the weekend.
I think I saw a video about it, from another creator, that had it set up completely different.
But I would have to find that again first. (hope I didn't dream that only 😅)
I found these two here and that would be where I would start my research probably with.
Maybe these help you already, before I manage to test it myself. 🙂 (links down here vvv)

@@LadyAskaThank you so much! Wasn't sure I'd get a reply on such an old video, respect for that and wanting to help ^^.
Seen both those videos, they look handy but the main hurdle I'm seeing is Vroid exporting clothes as part of the model, where as both of them are going in with separate prefab files/fbx files for their clothes toggles.
I saw one reddit post of a guy claiming it's possible to export Vroid to a blender FBX and separate them with the 'cats plug-in' but didn't list the method.
I hope this helps point your research in the right direction. Thank you so so much for the help again! ^^
@@szymonczajka9624 I would suggest watching Virtual Panda's playlist on how to make a VRoid Avatar. His videos are really helpful! They worked for me. Far as the toggles, I was also wanting to find out the same thing too.
Question!
In the case of my outfit sets right now I use the skin masks to Shrink the outfits closer to the body without clipping so much; This method means that can't be done.
Could you make a Body-Layer atlas then, and Adjust the Skin along with the other materials?
Ok, so I also cheated this a bit on one model, by creating multiple copies of the skin meshni n Unity (body), filling every part not needed with a transparent texture and then putting a custom skin texture (with another skin tight outfit) on it and treat that as a "new outfit".
But how it is with workarounds, there is also a little drawback with this method.
That is, that if your original model had outlines on the body, this new mesh won't, because the outline wasn't treated as a separate texture through Vroid and on the copy it doesn't exist, or I haven't found it yet.
Theoretically that could be handled through shaders maybe (who do offer custom outlines), but I never tried that and thusd didn't want to include it in the video. :)
Hello! would this still work if I put it through blender first? (to morph my characters body a bit) or would that mess something up?
If you don't merge the materials together (like an atlas) , this shouldn't be a problem.
First! yes
This is great thank you 😊 will I be able to use these toggles in Vrchat? I know I have to export for vrchat and have done that before. But only with one outfit.
I was never able to test this. But if you are able to toggle 'normal' custom created blendshapes in VRChat, then these should yheoretically work too.
If you try it, let us know how it went :)
You are my favorite tranquil and calming VR CZcamsr with your videos, my insomnia is gone ( @LadyAska )
I am so happy to hear that it helps you!
@@LadyAska Everyone dreams of getting a shark tail and finding it for free. Meanwhile: I took it and betrayed it, exchanging it for the fox tail of an obe mutant!!
@@MillaNillapai xDD
(I will try to get one done anyway tbh…I worked so much on it already and I hope it really helps people that want a Fish-Tuber, because fins were excluded from the update 😅)
@@LadyAska Can you write your discord nickname?
@@LadyAska I want to be your friend there
this has been quite informative , jw do u know how if the toggles will work or know how to set up if i use Warudo? its the program i use instead of vseeface
@@BluekittieVT I didn't start using Warudo yet, but from what I got, Warudo can even do cooler stuff, like triggering things like animations or Blendshapes based on programmable actions. (not just the common triggers, like VSeeface)
You are in for a treat for sure! :)
How do you layer clothes on top of each other? I don't see an option for that in VRoid (steam version).
You add new outfits. So let's say you start with one category like "bottom", there is an option on the left to add another outfit.
This will layered over the one you have already on then. :)
@@LadyAska I don't see any options for that anywhere.
[EDIT] I figured it out, thank you!
for some reason the transperancy is not working for me...
What is happening exactly?
Feel free to contact me on Discord and we look through it together.
I set up multiple of these already, without any problem. :)
i can do this with hairstyles too ? or maybe hyde and put some things like helmets or masks or glasses?
Absolutely...you just have to be careful whenever things get merged together.
So for hairstyles, you would have to set multiple in each category for example and the important part is to have different textures for them.
(they have to be separate textures/materials not color-wise or the likes, but just "named" different, if that makes sense. For example if you used material 1 on your first hairstyle and you want the same texture on the second, you would create a new hair material (material 2) with the exact same texture and use that then)
All other accessories work the same.
As long as they have distinctly different materials (like showing up as that in Unity, so you can turn them "on" and "off"), you are good and can play around with it as much as you like :)
@@LadyAska yeah i got lost about the hairstyles, you don´t have a tutorial about that?
@@sergioravellocarranza8665
Yes, I got this one here:
(Not sure if the link works, but you will find it in the video for sure otherwise) :)
czcams.com/video/Kwoz5kalL6I/video.htmlsi=xeMF7DJnaFw4tQYh
can i toggle ears too like this?
Actually yes!
Ears do have their own material, so you can set them up in the same way 😊
Will this work in VRChat?
Someone else asked that too and I think for VRChat it may not be that easy.
We are still doing research on this topic atm :)
@@LadyAska My friend said she has an alternate idea so I'll see soon enough
