I watched a vlogger from Mexico whose Spanish content is focused on the BPO industry in the Philippines, the largest BPO in the world. He was talking about how BPO companies based in the Philippines are recruiting foreigners who have good command of other languages. You might look into work opportunities in BPO. There may be a market for Russian speakers. Good luck Andrei.

Its really unfortunate. Before Duterte became President, the country was lawless and corrupt are in the government. When a Davao man became President, he changed all of these. Now we live in peace even though some bad elements are still there. Please enjoy your stay and help make this country grow.
Hi , a new sub here, you country of Russia is in an unjust war with your neighbor Ukraine, you are a guest there in the Philippines , as such you have to behave and follow their rules to the letter, even the immigration rules, I guess Russia does not care for it residents in other countries, my adopted country of Canada will give me a plane Ticket if I am in a bind in other countries, and so will the USA if one of their citizens get in trouble too, this is the difference we have in many Democratic countries against Autocratic countries like Russia and China. I hope everything works out for you , try to stay out of trouble with some luck you can seek asylum from a country other than go back to Russia, maybe your friend was MOBILIZED , if so he might have been sent to become CANNON FODDER , and you know how that can go..

Alex's predicament, in my opinion, was premeditated, intended to make him aware of his visa-renewal infractions. God used those robbers as a means of awakening him to his errors. His need for a significant shift was evident in this way. Alex can still return to the Philippines, hoping that the difficulty he had won't make him feel awful about the nation. Andrey, consider doing some gardening nearby and asking some of your neighbors (locals) if they would mind giving you some veggies to plant so you may have something ready to harvest when the time comes. Alternatively, you might go fishing while using a local's boat. You can borrow, and for sure they would love to offer a help and lend you one of their boat's.

I don’t think the war in Ukraine is a NATO war. This is the war of Putin caused with his selfish interest of annexing Ukraine just what he did in Crimea. Yes indeed we Americans and NATO is supporting them with their needs for the war. You know Ukrainians can’t fight with forks and spoons only! I don’t think you know that there are almost 550 thousands young Russian men that died in this war in Ukraine. Putin went there thinking he will take Ukraine just like how he took Crimea. Putin has killed thousands of innocent Ukrainians and children, as well Putin has kidnapped 20,000 Ukrainians children, and until now hasn’t been returned to their families. The destruction Putin have caused will cost Russian billions/ Russian people’s money of US dollar from the Russian frozen asset money in Europe and USA. The Ukrainians are fighting back and doing a good job to protect their own identity and their land. The war in Ukraine is Putin’s personal war.! Just be glad you are in the Philippines you could have been conscripted to fight the war in Ukraine . Thousands of Russians , Kazakhstan, and others are crossing the border here in the US to avoid to fight the war of Putin. Other Russians are not lucky enough to live . I’m against of Putin sending young Russian men to their early grave and for committing a war crime in Ukraine. As well Putin is a very corrupt president .

Yes true! Respect laws. In the Philippines there is a Solicitation Law. You have to get a Solicitation Permit from DSWD!
I remember a foreign vlogger who came to the Philippines, ask Donations online, many people local, OFW, foreigners give him donations but I learned some govt officials reprimanded him because he has no permit so he went back to his country. After couple of years he came back to the Philippines again and he never ask for donations again,... lesson learned!

Alex has plenty of jail experience -- so my advice for him is to join the Wagner Group in Russia. Mr. Putin pays thee Wagner mercenaries quite well. After fighting the Ukrainians for the next 2 years, Alex will have saved enough money to come to the Philippines.

The only thing I can help you is to not skipping the ads. This video has 2 ads and I didn't skip it. Goodluck! Also my advice, living in Philippines for both locals and foreigners is good, enjoyable ,but make sure that your visa and papers are all legals so that even if there is police cases, there will be no marks or cases for you. If thieves or robbers will come tou your place just do a quick video live notice on your social apps so that there is evidence. If situation get worst you can defend your self but don't chase them out of your place, make sure it's always in your place happens coz that is one angle that police would have to see, especially crime and thieves. You can beat a thieves in legs or hands, and avoid a fatal accident. Because in Philippines if it's a fatal mode, even if you are the victim, probably the ending is jail, for all, locals or foreigners.
Basically, renewal of a visa is a lifeline, never forget that.. Write to your embassy, so it can coordinate with the Philippine government, for possible jobs for you and other Russians.. There's no harm in trying.. Or write directly to our President, Pres. Ferdinand E. Marcos, Jr., about your plight..

That was a very sad story and experience by Alex, and his story is a lessons learned to everyone especially if you dont have a family in some other place.
