Sure Russian kids enjoy Filipino schools because of the friendliness of their classmates and teachers.
It's very dangerous to walk and go through the jungle to go to school for the child. My suggestion guys is try to assimilate with the locals and learn the language. You see Filipinos are very friendly and welcoming people so don't be afraid or reluctant to get near them. You guys should live with the Filipino and understand and learn their culture. It would be beneficial for all of you. You are quite welcome in the Philippines So no worries about anything.

I think they prefer to take short cuts in going to school but I suggest they should take the regular road not the trail

The white Lily flower is called "LIRIO" in the Philippines, including here in our city and province of ILOILO. Expats are also welcome here in ILOILO, very quiet and peaceful place with plenty of greenery but very modern and clean, like Davao, too.

I'm glad these guys are able to adapt to local culture of their host country. Don't forget talking in your language though. When times become better, you'll go back to your home country for sure. New subscriber here, you can speak russian with english subtittles, i hope your community grow. I have lot of russian and ukrainian friends who like to live in philippines. I told them its best for them to live and work as a seafarer or in BPO. While there family will settle. I noticed that of all westeners russians are closest to filipino in values and culture. Thats why when i was working with them we get along so quickly.

I haven't seen any Russian community similar to Chinatown, little India, Little Manila and so people don't know much about Russian culture, food, etc. Since Samal is still very raw, and will be booming soon once the Samal bridge connecting to Davao will be finished, it would be good to establish a Russian community that can be called Little Russia as a tourist destination where people can visit and try Russian food, buy Russian products and learn about your culture. I'm sure the city government will support it, considering that it would become one of a tourist destination.
Indians are in Davao, Koreanâs ate only vacations and business here some most Chinese are in Manila..

you will see mostly Korean's resides at Taft Avenue Manila mostly restaurant and boutique, Bars were owned by Korean's.you'll be amazed most of them spoke tagalog fluently.

Looks like Lia has made a lot of new friends at schoolđ«đThat school has a huge grounds, perfect for children to play around during breaks or after school. Public schools in the cities are cramped and overcrowded and could not expand since land is expensive. One advantage of sending your kids to school in the Philippines is that they get to learn to write and speak English to enable them to communicate with their classmates.
It looks more like a garden paradise and not a jungle. :)

Russians are good people. I have many good Russian friends here in. Dubai. There used to be a place somewhere in Leyte or Samar where Russians stayed for sometime. Also i remember them being the first ones in helping Yolanda victims. Much love and respect.

It's really a long walk to and from School. Pls. don't let the Child walk alone, always with couple of adults company. BTW, that White Flower you saw along the trail is called "Spider Lily",it grows wild but also a nice plant on your Yard, tho not really fragrant but nice to see especially if you grow lots of them, maybe about ten plants or more. If you want you can uproot that and plant it in your Yard.
And the dead thing you saw on the Beach is one of the many species of Poisonous Puffer Fish. Its locally called "Butete". It's good you didn't touch it.
That school ground is huge. Though it's really sad to see that in far flung provinces roads are still undeveloped and transportation is still an issue.
I never heard of Russian village when was this community started living in this island but i'm glad you are here in Philippines.I hope you will live in peace and happy

The fish you found at 11:40 is a Porcupine Fish (Family Diodontidae). It has spines but is not poisonous. It is related to the poisonous Puffer Fish.
Interesting. I thought it was a puffer fish. Hehe. đ

That "fish" at the beach looks to me as a type of a bird. What looks like "spikes" around its body were feathers, and I can see one of its feet, wing, the beak, and the tail.
