About Dead by Daylight:
Dead by Daylight is a multiplayer (4 vs 1) horror game where one player takes on the role of the savage Killer, and the other four players play as Survivors, trying to escape the Killer and avoid being caught and killed.

What other mistakes do you see killers make? 🤔
When you play as Pyramid, don't stop to use your judgement hit on survivors in a loop, doing this makes you waste more time and be predictable. Keep walking and fake your power. When you learn about the swing of the survivor you can get closer to him and down more easily by your normal hit or judgement hit. Also you can put the survivor in torment more easily.

@@haiz768what in the actual hell does this have to do with this comment or even this video

@@SpikeGR-Officialnah he's just a bot I think, he comments under most videos and always says something strange like I remember a video about ranking moris and someone commented I love Ghost Face's one qnd he replied I started cheating because killers are unfair and too op the devs are making a mess with these patches always nerfing survivors. he's very strange so he is either a bot or someone that never touched grass since he started playing DBD and his entire life is based on offending killer mains cause of skill issue.
one thing i like to do as ghostface when i cant find anybody but i know everyones injured is go into stalk kind of in the open. the reveal mechanic's killer instinct helps me find survivors a LOT
The transition at 6:27 was perfect
The Nemesis’ tentacle also has a continues hitbox that you can drag like Xenomorph. You can even hit survivors over small loops and even underneath certain objects because the hit box descends to match the whipping motion. Xenomorph can hit over objects too if you like up then drag your camera down to near-guarantee you’ll hit over a loop.
Am I understanding this right, you can "curve" the hitbox of the tentacle if you flick your mouse during the whipping motion?
When you play as Pyramid, keep in mind: The hit with the power can down stairs, but never up.
Only on certain kinds of stairs. The slope needs to be relatively mild. Like basement stairs are fine. But on rpd some stairs are just too steep.
@@cloudy978 It's more consistent in continuous stairs, but not in a huge fall. For example, the vault right in the entrance of the "Leon's office" Your power can hit the survival before he vaults, because your power can't go down that window.
But in midwitch school, your power are useful when you are chasing one survival and he pull of the pallet down stairs.
@@Night-TW i remember my power not going thru in the basement stairs of RPD west wing because they are steeper at the start of the staircase than normal basement stairs since they are a part of the building. I got screwed over by. Most stairs you can hit though I believe. I think the vertical distance between each tile of punishment needs to be smaller than 0.4 meters. If it's bigger the power doesnt go thru
@@cloudy978 No, the range of the hit doesn't cancels your power. The basement is just badly positioned in the map and makes the judgement glitch. You have to make sure to be on top of the stairs and not on the floor of RPD, because there's an imaginary hole between the top of the basement and the floor that broke the judgement hit. Sorry if I can't explain this very well. The problem here is in the design of the map, not in the killer itself.
Dbd has 1 million daily players and TCM had only 8k. Love how TCM fans thought it would dethrone dbd. 😂😂
There are still A LOT of dark as hell maps though so trapper's tar add on is still useful
For the Knight you should be using both the Carnifex and the Assassin in chase. Not only is the Carnifex good for deleting a pallet a survivor is trying to loop around but it also has a hunt duration of 24 seconds instead of 12 like the other two. So it gives you a lot more time to actually cut the survivors off and force the survivor into a lose-lose.
also carnifex flag will twice the time to appear, so 10 seconds without abilities to remove guard is kinda good.
Was coming here to say the same Carnifex’s chase is so long that normally you can leave him to just chase and he has a good chance to hit them on his own while you go to kick a gen or chase another survivor. A lot of utility in leaving big boy to keep one person distracted while you distract another. I normally only to to cut survivors off when using jailer/assassin cause I know they can just w away and most likely be fine
Not only that, but you also probably shouldn't use carnifex for breaking gens unless you really need the assassin quickly. This is because while a guard is breaking a gen survivors can't work on it, and since the other two take a lot longer to break it than the carnifex they will prevent any survivors from working on it for a much longer time while they break it.
It’s a good day when Kyto uploads

6:25 that transition was cleeean
SOMEONE NOTICED WOOOO that took me like 30 minutes
I knew someone noticed it too 😌 indeed it was clean
Blight: similar to huntress, it might be easier to get an m1 injury first then use your power since you can force them into a dead zone. Also similar to nurse, it is easier to start your first rush following the survivor so you can see what options they have. If you position yourself correctly, you can body block pallets or windows and get an easy down.
Skull merchant: Avoid playing this killer so you don’t fall asleep during the match
Xenomorph: Go in tunnels, press m2. No skill required.
6:25, I very like that smooth transition! Excellent job, Kyto!
For Knight - Jailor and Assassin are the best at kicking generators. All 3 damage it by 5%, but survivors can't work on the generators whilst one of your minions is kicking it, meaning it gives you an extra 4 seconds of time where the gen can't be worked on. Really helps if you want to stall it being completed so you can use PGTW or prevent an adrenaline pop.
Assassin is really strong in a chase though so I usually use the Jailor for kicking gens. Also if you make him patrol in a dead zone you're without a power for much longer.
Jailor > Gen kicker
Assassin > Chaser
Carni > Chaser/Pallet/wall kicker
love your content and also the wesker transition was fire, keep up the good work!
Here is a niche tip for the knight, if you're far from a gen that's close to popping don't use the carnifex to kick it, the other two will keep them off of it for longer giving you time to get there
Another tip for Trapper is to equip Zenshin Tactics and start placing traps between loops. Survivors never expect it, never disarm them, and rarely run into them randomly. You can also dodge stuns by hitting M2 half a second before the survivor drops the pallet, and if they don't drop, you can usually catch up to them before they make another loop. You can also hit M2 to bait out any flashlight savers in the area.
Thank you for coming to my TEDTalk. Use this knowledge for evil.
Letsgooo this video is FIRE as always! I was really hoping for one of those videos, and this is literally perfect!! really enjoyed it :)
6:24 Ok are we gonna not talk about how clean that edit was? 😳
As a billy main, I can confirm that we only use our chainsaw even if the survivor is injured
Thanks for the tips! I might try playing Dredge differently.
great info as always kyto!
I know that it's like THE mistake that people use too many crows when playing artist but I would like to see other mistakes being talked about more :/
for example, many people aren't patient enough with their crows, don't use them properly to zone or just forget about them entirely when someone leaves a loop.
You need to be patient, you need to chase people into birds and you can absolutely reuse them even if a survivor leaves a loop.
About the Singularity fact, I believe that it's a good idea to set up pods early only on nearby gens because, when you have nothing to do, you can quickly check on a gen and see if anyone is working on it. The only problem is, of course, Survivors disabling them, but you can see if a pod is disabled and you can also just check the gen yourself.
I love how you have similar Intro's to Rusttubers. Its great
I HAVE HAD THAT PROBLEM WHEN SHREDDING WITH DEMO FOR SO STINKIN' LONG. Thank you so much
You can also use the assassin and jailer to prevent someone from back tracking a pallet or gen since it takes them longer to do so. So you can get the jailer on a pallet from a loop and they cant use it since its being broken (sometimes survivors see it there and forget they cant vault it. Idk happened to me)
for nurse its actually would be good sometimes to predict based on moves survivor made in previous chases, good survs will change their playstyle so be aware of it and change your own playstyle against them
Nice transition at Wesker
The Demo quick shreds are definitely a thing of muscle memory. I have another tip for Demo, don't use Save the Best for Last! It heavily encourages you to M1 when you should REALLY be M2ing and vice versa. It can really stifle your growth in learning to use the shred.
That drop down transition was so clean
I love this kind of videos you should make more like them!
For Dredge, the brown add-on that turns lockers yellow when they are locked can be used for intel on survivor positions. If you see a locker turn yellow, that's where a survivor is.
Thats a good one
Yeah but worry stone basically is the same and objectively better since it gives you 5 seconds of actually seeing the survivor and where they go before you teleport
@@Yanramich well yeah a green info add on is gonna be better then the brown info add on, thats the way it normally goes
This is helpful, thank you!
I played against Pyramidhead 2 hours ago and there were trails on the stairs to basement for quite some time
6:26 Kyto pulled the cleanest, most absolute DISGUSTING transition in History and thought that we wouldn't notice!😲
As a Wesker main, I recommend you go for throws to injuring a survivor. You recover faster from your ability and get your ability back faster hence more downs. Another tip is BE PATIENT WITH THE POWER.
Sadako Main and i never noticed this detail about TVs. You blew my mind.
It’s the highlight of my day when kyto posts :D
had a pyramid head do a trail on the top of the basement steps today, surrounding the entrance to force anyone coming in to save to step on it. cant believe thats allowed tbh
6:26 Bro really thought he could get away with the smoothest transition
Didnt realize Sloppy butcher on dredge was so strong ill have to try it
I personally will often use the static blast on the doctor when I'm near a generator that I can hear being repaired or when being blinded.
I love you Kyto, but I'm a stealth Pig so I'm not gonna stop crouching, thanks for the tip tho 😊
When using Myers tombstone play with your food doesn’t lose tokens when noting as tombstone. Really niche but actually deadly because it over rides the tier 3 speed decrease
That wesker cut was clean
Omg I just started playing Twins yesterday and I love using Victor as an information tool! Sometimes I just place him roughly where I believe Survivors are to then see behind which rock they are hiding xD Survivors almost never notice Victors presence and are going for Generators or even the basement chest instead of crushing him - it's so much fun! I wish, more people would play Twins, because it's also fun to play against them! 😁
Yeah I love getting slugged every game to
4:30 *only on basement staircase, other staircases are fine and are actually placement of trails because staircases are choke points
As a trickster main I appreciate the tip I often find myself always tryna hit them with blades I'll try this method instead💯
Man what hurts the most is being a trapper main & knowing an icon add on that used to be one of the best is now a joke and hindrance in most of the maps. :/
6:25 nice transition
I only just realized that your background music is Fall Guys music, despite having 400 hours in Fall Guys.. I knew I recognized it
As an Onryo main I recently got called a cheater for using the TV info to find the last survivor in a locker :^)
Great video, but i do have a question are you sure Pyramid head's trail is dissapearing on stairs? I did play with him a LOT in the past 24h ( U know, cuz of the locker exploit ) and i could swear it didnt dissapear at all. ( well not on the basement stairs for sure. )
that’s what it says on the wiki and it was disappearing on the midwich stairs for me when i tested it
I often see situations in which a player playing a legion sees a survivor standing next to a pallet when he using a frenzy and either stands in front of it waiting for a miracle or starts an attack prematurely thinking that thanks to the acceleration when performing the attack he will be able to avoid the pallet, but it often ends with getting hit in the head. My advice is to do unpredictable movment. Quickly forward and then sideways and backwards and now again forwards and backwards and the pallet is already gone, I can jump over it and... And here comes the second problem. Experienced survivors can easily avoid the attack by quickly jumping in to the pallet. When playing as a legion, I recommend learning when I see and when I don't see a survivor and whether I can hit him.
And remember Legion = S++ Tier Killer
pinhead locker bug still works
when catchet doing the box just take one hit and hop into locker when close to death then it’s like u solved the box
0:56 Why are you comparing Tier 1 > Tier 2 from far away to Tier 2 > Tier 3 from close range? I doubt there's a difference but for the sakes of comparison it could be interpreted otherwise
A real tip for Skull Merchant:
Holding a 3 Gen isn’t the only way to play her. I find a lot of success (and way more fun matches) by bringing totems and defending them instead. There is no reason to spend 50 minutes in a game that caps exp at 10 minutes, so enjoy your lockdown power by protecting your totems instead of slowing the game to a slog.
6:26 Omg that transition made me question DbD reality! o_O
For the Onryõ if the TV is "on" (plays a video, not static) that means that survivor is within 16m but it also applies when a suvivor died within 16m of that TV so when you kill someone near a TV this feature becomes useless for that TV for the rest of the match. It was in the game since her release, idk if it's intentional or not but it kinda sucks
I told them once, "Im back from the dead" Everyone was shocked! Was so excited, it was a slip of the tongue! 😁😁😁
I need tips for Wesker, I'm on console but any will do!!
Perk combos aswell!!
Which advices you can recommend to me for the Trickster?
Don't forget tho that Sadako Tv's remain on even ir survivor is on hook, downed or even dead (i'm not sure with The last one)
Good tips, I only disagree with the blight one. Blight at pretty much every tile is in favor if played correctly or just breaking the pallet/zoning, even if the survivor is very good you should still use your power but as a way to learn how to play the tile instead of just playing m1 killer.
His shorts are what caused me to try creating a channel Ty for the great vids
Playing knight, I can easilly say that jailer is not the best potroller. Use him to kick gens if you get the chance. Carnifex can instantly break pallets and walls while in chase, or if used far away, stalls a survivor the longest. Asassin is deadly, but mostly with addons.
I never knew Myers stalk filled slower if you were farther away. Mind blown
With singularity sometimes you really need to prepare a set up before you begin chasing, it may pay off a lot.
Carnifex isnt necessarily there for breaking gens. Pallets and doors sure but the fact that the other two need longer for breaking the gen also gives u the adventage that the gen is longer blocked during their time breaking it. just as a small hint
When i first played twins i did this... 4:58 its so helpful... or placing victor in front of killer shack door, survivors always got stuck and died... to bad no one plays Twins 😐
The box pick up from survivor doesn’t work anymore for months. Pinhead is much weaker now doing that so teleport is better
4:10 not really in shots of 18m the hitbox is smaller when survivors crouch so aim always in the head like in the The Walking Dead series.
Hey I noticed you use shadowborn a lot, is it worth the perk slot?
no it just looks nice :D
My main 3 killers are these (in order)
1. Twins
2. Legion
3. Hag
As a hag main; I will be very sparing with my traps, but sometimes I like to put like 5 together and absolutely scare the shit out of the survivor in question, also they won’t know where I’m coming from.
As a legion main; yeah getting everyone in mending as much as possibly will keep them busy and slow down the game by a shit ton.
As a twins main; that is the main reason for me getting twins in the first place, I am a killer that loves getting info as much as possible and just slugging people, so when I originally got the twins I used Vic as a means of getting info. In the beginning I hardly used Vic’s pounce, but I got better at it and I nearly never miss now, and thus twins is my main.
1. Tar bottle is good in grassy maps.
2. Blocking where the survivor is going is niche at best.
3. Just following rather then guessing where survivors go can lead to the nurse loding.
4. Not stalking from far away means the myers loses pressure because they have to get close.
5. And if the survivor spins around u how does not moving your camera help.
6. If the survivor knows u mindgaming with the chainsaw then you've already lost that hit.
7. Same as huntress if they move out of the shot area you have to move the camera.
8. So as blight does that mean if every survivor is good never use your power in chase?
9. How exactly is nightfall going to help in chase unless tge survivor is deaf and blind it provides no benefit in chase.
10. As a skull merchant main my games are not 45 minutes most last the average 15 to 20 minutes.
For blight it’s better to lose more matches and get better at using his power than to just m1 normally, if a really good survivor is juking all your rushes learn from it

I feel like the trapper tip is lacking, as the maps where tar bottle actively hurts you are maps where survivors will see your traps anyways, and you have to play a lot more into your lockdown ability.
But I’ve got another: looking for survivors at the start of a game, and ESPECIALLY taking chase, is terrible. Focus on getting your traps set up around 3 gens in large maps, 4 gens in small maps, and high-traffic areas in indoor maps, before taking chases, prioritizing picking up unusable traps you pass in your chase to hitting the survivor.
Thanks!
4:34 if you are just playing Blight casually and don’t actually want to get good at him, sure, it’s a fine tip, if you want to main him or simply actually get good at him than absolutely not. Not using your power against a good player is a sure fire way to lose your games, now yes there are some moments where it’s better to not use your power because some loops are actually just that bad but in general you want to use your power pretty much constantly, if you follow this tip hoping to get better at Blight than I’m sorry to tell you this but it will have the complete opposite effect. Not only will it actively make you play worse, you will also lack confidence in your power which is something essential to become a good blight. Lack of confidence = less power usage and less power usage means you are never gonna get better. In my opinion a common blight mistake is not using your power enough, I have lost count of how many almost m1 Blights I have seen. If you want to main Blight, here’s an actual tip. Use your power as much as you can, see what you can and can’t do, it’s gonna be hard at the start but trust me you will quickly find yourself improving, not every rush will result in a hit and that’s fine, not even the best Blights hit 100% of their rushes. Blight is not a killer you can learn overnight, it takes patience and dedication to learn him so don’t get frustrated if things don’t go your way. That said, much love to Kyto, he is an amazing content creator and I have nothing against him
Kyto is the best dbd youtuber ever

@@lemonlime8949 well, if you like to get negative, because you drag out the game for up to an hour, then please. You could play up to 3-4 matches in an hour, rather than sitting for an hour for one, but accurate victory.

Onryo,you can add-not teleporting enough
The Onryo tipp doesnt work anymore. Just played her and the TVs show the video all the time now.
I see to many xenomorphs not using control stations and just walking around normally. The control stations are more help to you than the survivors.
I can guarantee you as a twins main, if you are not using Victor for reconnaissance you are playing the killer wrong. He's a manual uva unlike any other killers arsenal would be excited to see a killer similar to twins come in the future most definitely.
Hey guys I wanted to back up Kytos tip for Twins, as a Twins main, if I'm chasing survivors for a long time but, I keep Victor in Charlotte, understand that's a huge part of your power's value I'm giving up. Let the little guy be a radar 😢
6:25-6:28 that was smooth
Shockingly enough, Tarbottle has actually given me stupid value, I mean, like they will run straight into it in the open on Crows kind of stupid. Something about its darker texture really messes with some survivors.
As a Ghostface main, I would also like to add a pretty valuable tip: Know when to crouch and when *NOT* to crouch. The crouching is nice and way better than the Pig's, but there's no point in crouching if the Survivors are halfway across the map behind 15 walls on RPD. Save it for when Survivors are nearby or you've found a premiere ambush/stalk point. And for teabagging toxic players at the speed of sound.
Don't use blight's power at loops, noted.
did i really hear "new demogorgon players"?
I play the role that gives me blood point thanks to the bonus they add
Thanks for tha video
I barely play killer, but I feel this was very useful nonetheless, thank you!
Tar bottle is so good on midwich
