- Step into the ring of nostalgia as we take a powerbomb down memory lane to revisit the iconic year of 1995 in professional wrestling. This was a year where the WWE (then WWF) and WCW went head-to-head in an epic showdown for supremacy, bringing forth some of the most memorable moments in sports entertainment.
1995 was a year marked by intense rivalries, stunning upsets, and the rise of future legends. In the WWE, we witnessed the ascension of superstars like Shawn Michaels, Bret 'The Hitman' Hart, Diesel, and The Undertaker, each delivering unforgettable matches and moments. Michaels' show-stealing performances, Hart's technical prowess, Diesel's dominating championship run, and The Undertaker's dark and mysterious persona captivated fans worldwide.
Meanwhile, WCW was making waves with its own roster of incredible talent. The year saw the likes of Sting, Ric Flair, Hulk Hogan, and Randy Savage dominate the scene. Hogan's iconic turn and the intense Flair vs. Savage feud were just a few highlights that defined WCW's narrative in 1995.
This video dives deep into the key events, matches, and storylines that shaped 1995 in pro wrestling. We explore the groundbreaking pay-per-views, like WrestleMania XI, SummerSlam, Survivor Series, WCW's Bash at the Beach, and Halloween Havoc. Each event contributed significantly to the landscape of professional wrestling as we know it today.

The human thumb King Kong Bundy. That's hilarious
29:40 - Fun fact, they removed the Goldust and X-Pac Black-face from the network but as of a year ago they hadn't removed a conversation between Jerry Lawler and Brian Christopher on commentary where they make fun of Taka Michinoku ranging from the rather watered down "Michi-no clue" all the way to making chinese food references, to literally refering to him as a "slope" a few times. How that made it through I have no idea.
We've seen small segments of these in your specific documentaries, those all have their own timelines. These are great to show where those events happen within the wider picture. Keep up the amazing work and have an amazing new year.
Yeah I love watching stuff like this.
I follow several wrestling channels and I keep reminding of this. I didn't grow up with wrestling as a massive part of my youth. I'm not hugely interested in the in-ring action. But there is something really fascinating about the real people behind the gimmicks and the backstage politics.@@thekingofkingsrp
Always looking forward to these!
Agreed 💯 percent
Interesting year in the business. The Monday night wars began. I had a Diesel poster on my wall.
One huge thing that has been left out is the start of Monday Nitro and the beginning of the Monday night wars.
Great video❤❤ 95 was a good year. My step brother slapped Sables butt and had to run from security 😂
Hahaha
@@TravelatorH8rhe was like 14. He was the middle school hero for like a week. She was so hot 🔥 We still talk about it when we all get together
@@ThiccChickCrisha dude he is still a hero now he can say he slapped Brock Lesnar's wife's ass like who can say that
Dude I enjoy your content but you have some really strange editing mistakes at times. 20 minutes into the video the pitch of your voice rises for some reason..
🛢️ I'll I'd lol iloililiplp is playing 🎹 lol illuioiiu Lili has to watch on You
Not only at that point does the pitch of his voice change but he’s repeating the WCW & NJPW joint show in North Korea that happened in 1994 and it’s in his review of 94 too!
The Cane Dewey promo really is one of the best.
But what about KANE DEWEY HAHHAHA
The human thumb 😂😂😂😂
Go sit down somewhere
Oh remebering Brak and the Mantis...cant remember his name, so funny.
No kidding here! Are you kidding about getting your tires mud flaps horn window wipers air filter fixed?
It seems your doing a lot better bro! I've not seen any regurgitated stuff from u in a long ass time!! Thank u man. I knew u had it in u! Like I always said to u, u definitely have a lotta love for wrestling and I appreciate that you took my advice and stopped using the same stuff over and over. U still bounce around though lol I'm watching about the undertaker and Bundy then ask if a sudden your talking about cactus jack in ecw lol
It's all regurgitated at some point. We all know the stories. This kid probably wasn't even born yet but captures it the way I remember it
@@TravelatorH8r true, but what what I'm referring to is when this guy makes multiple videos on the same topic over and over and just uses clips from videos he has already made. He hasn't done it in awhile but he used to do it with almost every video he made. He made the same Hogan video like 5 times or something. Lol I don't mean info that's already out there. I mean his own work. But yeah he definitely has a passion for wrestling and I like his videos now compared to like a year or 2 ago when all he released was the same over and over again
@tysoncarpenter8628 ah gotcha. Yea the Hulk stuff didn't add anything new. Just felt like a vendetta.
Pause at 47:12, who can you make in the picture that I haven't?. TTT, Terrific Terry Taylor/ Red Rooster, Hacksaw Jim Duggan? Yokozuna, Hulk Hogan, Bill Alfonso,???, Godfather,Bastion Booger/Norman the Lunatic, Brutus " The Barber" Beefcake,Fatu/ Rikishi, Bam Bam Biggelo, Owen Hart, Samu?, Master Fuji, Scott Steiner.
I think DC or one of it's imprints did a paper comic of Spaceghost.
I went to SummerSlam 1995 The Hitman Chris candido sunny the the big guy at the table Vega credible
Amazing I’m so jealous
18:02 Not only at this point does the pitch of your voice change but you’re repeating the WCW & NJPW joint show in North Korea that happened in 1994 and it’s in your review of 94 too! I’ve just watched the 94 review before this one (95) and it on there. Another thing I find annoying is you’re pronouncing ‘Ramon’ wrong every time you say ‘Razor Ramon’ it’s pronounced ‘Ra-moan’ not ‘Ra-mon’
I agree with HHH, the whole BSK thing was embarrassing, it was just a group of work mates in their 30s who drank and hung out together, do they really need tattoos with BSK on it ?
I think they qualify as more than just work mates tbf
KANE DEWEY
Why did u show the girls saying how much they love Bret 2wice? And then the match with Bret and Shawn against the blue brothers 2wice? Edit hiccup? Lol
I thought I'd gone mad lol
@@LaaLaaMonroe he dose things like this alot. Lol
Oh I know he dose but at least he isn't making the video over and over like he used to do lol
30:11
35:42
you messed up
He has editing errors in just about every video. He really needs a second pair of eyes before he uploads but it's clear he is a one man team.
Your narrating style has all the personality of coastal fog
Yeah, but some of the narratives were really stupid. I remember.
LOLOL 😂😂 Diesel....being tall isn't a talent.
Bahhh Gawwwd it is if you're Vince McMahon
@@TheKillingJoker1980 😂 yeah, true.
Good virtue signal. Gotta C.Y.A.
