Little Pinch of Ginger It's because Bucky knew that he was screwed. If Spider-Man just caught his metal arm like it was a baby throwing the punch, then none of his attacks are really going to do anything against him, which is why he threw objects and tried to keep a distance for the most part.
If cap wanted to kill him he would have, Tony said so in homecoming. I'm pretty sure captain could guess how strong spidey was when they fought. He knew nothing bad would happen to spidey when he dropped that loading bridge on him.
Megha G And you're just going to take Tony's word on that? Peter would have ripped Cap apart limb from limb like he was wet tissue paper if he wanted. There was nothing that Cap could do to Peter. His hardest hits didn't even almost phase Peter. Peter is Giant Man level in Civil War and even higher in later movies. Cap doesn't stand a chance when Peter is actually fighting to win.
I really wish that the MCU kept him like this for future movies because that’s exactly how Spidey is suppose to be, a bit awkward as Peter but as Spiderman he becomes pretty cocky and funny and not having to hold someone’s hand to do the job. In Homecoming they had him be awkward as both Peter And Spiderman. Also, Peter doesn’t worship Stark in the comics like he does in Homecoming, though he does have some respect for him like in CW. This Peter was the best live action one I’ve seen and I wish they would’ve kept him as such.
Matt Lopez I agree, although I feel like it was implied he doesn’t understand the gravity of the situation in Civil War, so he is a bit more himself. It’s like they’re all playing around. Whereas in homecoming he’s got a pretty big task on his hands to figure out by himself
Can we just talk about the fact that Spider-Man is able to block/grab Winter Soldiers hand like no big deal while everyone else has trouble blocking it
Yea how does he stop the winter soldiers punch so casually but get rag dolled by captain america. Cap has shown that he cant even hold back the winter soldiers metal arm with two hands.
there's a difference between god-like power and skill. Spiderman does have unbelievable strength but he's not god-like like Wonder Woman or Superman. He's also not as experienced in the field of battle as any of the 3. Bucky and Falcon were caught off guard for the most part, if they had time to figure him out they would've got him better but if he were more experienced he could've wrecked Steve, and Bucky and Falcon without a problem for sure.
For me that best scene in civil war..!! Even captain America praises Spiderman for his heroics..Spiderman is Marvel's biggest asset..just like batman is for DC..
Tom Holland nails Spider Man in every way! From Civil War, Homecoming and Infinity War, he just does the character of Peter Parker and Spider Man so well! I watched Infinity War and Spider Man once again was so well done! Good job Marvel.
GameTitan74 Tom Holland really good at bringing both peter parker and spiderman character so well. because of him i started like spiderman. the way he act as spider man so good. love it so much.
This is something that I read in another review: Tobey Maguire nailed Peter Parker but his spider man wasn’t as good. Andrew Garfield did spider man much better but wasn’t as natural of a Peter Parker. While Tom Holland does both very well! Not very happy about the age decrease but I guess it fits well.

@@christelledarazi3606 In the Raimi Spiderman, it did came from his skin. Toby has organic web. The rest have webshooters like andrew and tom. Fun fact: In one of his comics he used his own veins to swing.
Mmm anyone else thinking about the fact that cap assumed Spiderman would be strong enough to hold a 40 tonne aeroplane tunnel and if he wasn't he would have just killed a young teenger?
Think about it. He's a rebel who's resisting with violence. That puts him in the same level as isis. Do you really think that a guy like that should have a problem murdering Peter?
Yes. He's a violent rebel waging war, literally. Gallant patriots turn evil all the time even in real life. Just look at America's prison population. Don't get stuck in the past naively.
I love how at 2:45, you can tell by Bucky's face that he is surprised by how strong Spider-Man is but Spidey doesn't even realize it and just admires Bucky's arm XD
They really did their homework with Spider-Man and his fighting style. He rarely throws punches and kicks and used web to propel his attacks so he doesn't outright murder people. His physical strength and endurance is one of his best kept secrets.
This Spiderman is crazy. He can hold up a semi trailer, about beat up Captain America with no experience, and he is very funny. I can't wait to see Spiderman homecoming.
So spidey is completely new to the team, right? They probably don’t know all of his limits like how strong he is and stuff. And cap just literally left the cargo thingy to drop on him, not knowing if he could take the weight or not. That amount of mass could have potentially killed peter is he didn’t have the strength. But then again he was strong enough to pull captains arms back... but still.
Think about it. Steve is a rebel who's resisting with violence against established civilized authorities. That puts him in the same level as isis. Do you really think that a guy like that should have a problem murdering Peter?
In retrospect this is kinda the best Spider-Man has ever been in the MCU. They had this amazing opening for him and now it seems like they just don’t really know what to do
@@EventualWarlord Doesnt help that he and Doctor Strange are absolutely brain dead in that No Way Home trailer, but who cares? We got Doc Ock and Green Goblin now 🤷♂️
I’m rewatching a lot of scenes after Endgame and I always favorite the “Or I’ll call Aunt May” because despite Peter’s actions and how he plays hero he’s still a normal teenager in highschool who’s still afraid of getting his ass scolded by his Aunt
I especially love Bucky's face in that moment! While Peter's fascinated by the metal arm, Bucky's surprised that Peter could actually stop his blow. "Yeah, it is a metal arm and you shouldn't have been able to grab it. WTF are you?"
Gaaraloverr1, yeah this was such an awesome way to gage Spider-man's strength, because we all know that metal arm was overpowered with strength and Spider-Man just stops it pretty easily and chats.
This is literally the best fighting we’ve seen from this Spider-Man and it’s even better than his own 2 movies… these few scenes of civil war is what made me excited for Tom’s Spider-Man but I was disappointed, kinda sad honestly.
That definitely sounds more American than British to me? Can't say I know anywhere in England with that accent and definitely isn't wales/Scotland/N Irish
Let's just take a second to acknowledge how strong Peter actually is. He pulled Caps arms back, stopped Bucky's metal arm punch and lifted an almost 90 ton airplane tunnel when it was dropped on him. Like damn dude you lift. Also the fact that he was kicking Bucky and Falcon's asses for a good amount of time.
Eli N.S Think you got that switched. He's british and he's not faking anything. He's not even faking his american accent because it's cool but because the role he plays is american.
Umm I was joking. I thought it was obvious, who would fake an English accent all the time? But maybe it wasn’t clear enough, my bad 🤗 ( why was this emoji suggested for my bad 🤗?)
Bucky has enhanced strength, Spider-Man has supernatural strength. Spiderman IS stronger. And you can't make the point that every was going easy on him because if so, then you'd have to factor in that what holds Spidey back is how is isn't serious. For a 15 year old noobie that knows what he's capable of, he showed absolutely no fear against these experienced killers.
I think Bucky knew immediately that spidey was a kid by how high pitched his voice is. That’s probably why he didn’t swing again or keep fighting after Spider-Man made the comment about his arm. He was probably like “holy shit. He’s a kid?” and was just so surprised he had no idea what to do other than just stand there and look at him.
Taylor Wachacha actually, the shock was probably "holy shit, he caught my punch." and then he didn't swing because the plan was to get away and punching spiderman is clearly pointless.

True, but I also feel like since MCU Peter is a teen it's a bit fitting hes so awkward and polite.
yeah but at the same time he's pretty new at the whole superhero thing so it just makes sense he's a bit awkward in the beginning
When he stopped the 4 criminals robbing the ATM though, he wasn’t all-around awkward then.
@Tyler Drewe Productions kinda because he was trying to think of something to say
4:46 HIS LAUGH KILLS ME ALL THE TIME 😂
Can we just talk about the fact that Spider-Man is able to block/grab Winter Soldiers hand like no big deal while everyone else has trouble blocking it
Josiah M that's cause everyone else isn't nearly as physically strong as him
Josiah M I know, right? So overpowered. I hate this character (and Mary/Gary Sues in general).
Spiderman is so much stronger than everyone else there, he just lacks experience
Aruki Tsukaru wtf Spiderman isn't a Gary Sue, he has been beaten a lot of times before.
Yea how does he stop the winter soldiers punch so casually but get rag dolled by captain america. Cap has shown that he cant even hold back the winter soldiers metal arm with two hands.
Can we talk about how he was owning them and barely even trying?!?!
Yeah he would've destroyed them all if he had more experience
BlackMamba Mwangi ikr he fucked up captain America
Yeah, his superpowers rank up there with superman and wonder woman. Spider-Man is not one to be messed with.
there's a difference between god-like power and skill.
Snoi Med woah u mad comic thor really i dont think even superman could take on comic thor
2:51YOU HAVE THE RIGHT TO REMAIN SILENT!
"Climbing walls? How you do that? Adhesive gloves?"
Peter: it's a long story😒
It was a long story
Cap: you got heart kid, where you from?
Spider Man: Queens
Cap: Brooklyn
( walks away)
Callia S I think that's the most interaction we will get from those 2 in the MCU
Its a callback from the first capt america film.
Cause the scientist told capt he was from Queens and capt told him he was from Brooklyn.
For me that best scene in civil war..!! Even captain America praises Spiderman for his heroics..Spiderman is Marvel's biggest asset..just like batman is for DC..
Callia S it was that part when I read this🤣
You have the right to remain silent
Timmy TurnerCS "I don't know if you've been in a fight before, but it usually doesn't involve this much talking."
"Oh sorry my bad."
"You're going home or I'll call Aunt May."
😂😂😂
4:43 captain America:launguage!!!
GameTitan74 THAT part in infinity war made me cry lmao
Handcrafted it was alsp confirmed that tom improvised that scene
This is something that I read in another review: Tobey Maguire nailed Peter Parker but his spider man wasn’t as good. Andrew Garfield did spider man much better but wasn’t as natural of a Peter Parker. While Tom Holland does both very well!
Not very happy about the age decrease but I guess it fits well.
SPOILER ALERT! DONT READ IF YOU HAVENT SEEN IT!! DONT BLAME ME,ITS UR FAULT:
who else died inside when we saw his death scene in Infinity War...💔😭'I dont want to go...'
Honestly I'm really excited for Spider-Man homecoming, this actor nails down the character so well, I can't wait to see more.
Zane Kelley he’s I think around 19-21 somewhere there years old. Yes he’s a teenager
+Jay L360 he 21 but yh he looks like 15
Cieran Kinsella I know right, he looks sooooo young even tho he is....
Zac Scott He is 21 lol
Zane Kelley I'll say! This actor really delivers the fact that Spider-Man is a hero, but he's still a kid with much to learn.
4:57 Spiders. Always attacking the ants...
That’s actually hilarious
3:13 Tobey Maguire:Yes...
I don't know the comics..if you know : does the web really come from spider man's skin?
@@christelledarazi3606 No he makes webshooters in the comics
@@traveler7984 but if you think of it shouldn't it be naturally coming out of him? He have the genes of a spider
In the comics theORIGINAL Spiderman has web shooters
@@christelledarazi3606 In the Raimi Spiderman, it did came from his skin. Toby has organic web. The rest have webshooters like andrew and tom.
Fun fact: In one of his comics he used his own veins to swing.
Mmm anyone else thinking about the fact that cap assumed Spiderman would be strong enough to hold a 40 tonne aeroplane tunnel and if he wasn't he would have just killed a young teenger?
Pumblechook 1
That was actually 87 tons from what I can remember from comicexplained
Pumblechook 1 Cap knew he was strong because of when Spidey was pulling on his arms during their fight
Think about it. He's a rebel who's resisting with violence. That puts him in the same level as isis. Do you really think that a guy like that should have a problem murdering Peter?
Are you comparing Captain America, a man who gave what he thought his life, to isis?
Yes. He's a violent rebel waging war, literally.
Gallant patriots turn evil all the time even in real life. Just look at America's prison population. Don't get stuck in the past naively.
Spidey: "Holy shit!"
Cap: LANGUAGE
what mnt?
Death tells them to go to hell lol
Uncle Sam wants you to join the army
Captain America wants you to watch your language
Groot: Iam Groot!
"holy crap" would have fitted spiderman better in my opinion
I love how at 2:45, you can tell by Bucky's face that he is surprised by how strong Spider-Man is but Spidey doesn't even realize it and just admires Bucky's arm XD
2:59 that’s the spider-sense. It wasn’t introduced in infinity war, it was in Civil War this entire time
2:24
Russo Brothers did Spidey better than Jon Watts
Finally a young guy playing the roll of s young guy not a 30 year old playing a teenager
I men, he was 21 playing 15
he was 19
Respect Tobey McGuire please he is legendary the first spiderman movie shall go down im history
That never happened. Maguire was 24 and Garfield was 27.
Kartik Punna oh you are one of those
he seems way more intimidating in this one than homecoming
They really did their homework with Spider-Man and his fighting style. He rarely throws punches and kicks and used web to propel his attacks so he doesn't outright murder people. His physical strength and endurance is one of his best kept secrets.
Anyone else catch Tom say “carbon” in his British accent?
This Spiderman is crazy. He can hold up a semi trailer, about beat up Captain America with no experience, and he is very funny. I can't wait to see Spiderman homecoming.
Zac Scott it’s one of my favorite movies. I love it
In the comics, spidey could take on the avengers solo. So since this one is inexperienced, that was alright.
He *caught Bucky's arm.*
Andrew De Jesus and he held a ferry together for 5 seconds even though iron man saved them he held it
Tariq Productions He did better than most. At the very least he delayed the ferry's demise until Tony arrived.
So spidey is completely new to the team, right? They probably don’t know all of his limits like how strong he is and stuff. And cap just literally left the cargo thingy to drop on him, not knowing if he could take the weight or not. That amount of mass could have potentially killed peter is he didn’t have the strength. But then again he was strong enough to pull captains arms back... but still.
Reasons why Cap is low on my favorite avengers list
Think about it. Steve is a rebel who's resisting with violence against established civilized authorities. That puts him in the same level as isis. Do you really think that a guy like that should have a problem murdering Peter?
dBolotok Do you just have that argument copy pasted? I've seen you say this on two different commens already, just stop.
Yes, I copy-pasted twice. And I already stopped. Thank you very much. Why is it hard to accept that Steve is a murderous bitch now?
Well...you got some point there
Peter’s Queens accent was SO much more obvious in Civil War than Homecoming, Infinity War, etc.
HE WAS THE BEST CHARACTER EVER!!!
BEST CIVIL WAR GUY BY FAR
I dont care who won I just cared Spider-Man was a complete badass and was able to take on either of them that's not even considering his 1v2
he did what captain America and Sam were trying to do in the entire plot of winter soldier in four minutes.
Hey Joji hi. my name is Joji lol
Everyone's got a gimmick now.
SeoulMan Read this right when he said it in the video.
Says The Falcon. XD
That line had the whole theater laughing.
SeoulMan Says the man that dresses up like a bird.
but fly like plane instead bird :V
Look at how far my boy has come from
In retrospect this is kinda the best Spider-Man has ever been in the MCU. They had this amazing opening for him and now it seems like they just don’t really know what to do
He was great in Far From Home
In the mcu? he’s the only one in the mcu😹
@@user9013 he meant in MCU movies
@@spider-man3576
Ehhh, not really. Spider-Man is kind of a dumbass in Far From Home
@@EventualWarlord
Doesnt help that he and Doctor Strange are absolutely brain dead in that No Way Home trailer, but who cares? We got Doc Ock and Green Goblin now 🤷♂️

My favorite part

best spiderman quote in this whole movie

Mossimo Tampol nope. Best spidey quote is "Holy Shit"
Deadlyorb that moment where bucky almost dies...again
2:37 the real reason why Mackie and Sebastian tease Holland lmfaoo its all brotherly love tho

WHYY!
It's a marvel film people who die in them always come back
*sh we don't speak of that*
*I'm her after Avengers EndGame trailer*
"You have a metal arm. That's awesome dude".
I’m rewatching a lot of scenes after Endgame and I always favorite the “Or I’ll call Aunt May” because despite Peter’s actions and how he plays hero he’s still a normal teenager in highschool who’s still afraid of getting his ass scolded by his Aunt
I don't think people realize how strong you have to be to kick giant man in the jaw like that and make him stumble, like holy shit
5:23 I can't help but laugh at the sound that was made when he got hit with the arm. How does no one notice that?!?! 😂😂😂
The Catalyst O O F
HAHAHAH omg it totally sounds like the iconic roblox oof sound yes
you have a metal arm? that is awesome dude!
I especially love Bucky's face in that moment! While Peter's fascinated by the metal arm, Bucky's surprised that Peter could actually stop his blow. "Yeah, it is a metal arm and you shouldn't have been able to grab it. WTF are you?"
Gaaraloverr1 yeah he was like it worked on Steve wtf
Gaaraloverr1, yeah this was such an awesome way to gage Spider-man's strength, because we all know that metal arm was overpowered with strength and Spider-Man just stops it pretty easily and chats.
I'd imagine it'd be pretty traumatic actually.
spider-man is so strong
3:13 no one gonna talk about how Bucky just jumped in front of Sam to take the hit instead?
This is literally the best fighting we’ve seen from this Spider-Man and it’s even better than his own 2 movies… these few scenes of civil war is what made me excited for Tom’s Spider-Man but I was disappointed, kinda sad honestly.
It’s because the Russo brothers directed this movie and the Spider-Man films are directed by someone else.
What about now?

Accidental British accent when he says carbon fibre
YellowLuffy I was looking for this comment. I thought I was the only one who noticed that!
That definitely sounds more American than British to me? Can't say I know anywhere in England with that accent and definitely isn't wales/Scotland/N Irish
When did he say that?
3:10
YellowLuffy Ikr!!
Peter: *Hey buddy I think you lost this*
Bucky: *uH?*
You can hear his English accent when he says carbon fibre
Nope Tom Holland is American, he just fakes an English accent for the interviews because it's stylish!
Also in an earlier scene when he asks Stark if the grant had money involved, his English accent can be heard when he says "involved".
Eli N.S it's the other way around his is English and put on American accent
Eli N.S Think you got that switched. He's british and he's not faking anything. He's not even faking his american accent because it's cool but because the role he plays is american.
Umm I was joking. I thought it was obvious, who would fake an English accent all the time?
But maybe it wasn’t clear enough, my bad 🤗 ( why was this emoji suggested for my bad 🤗?)
Tom Holland's backflips are epic. Check his backflips on CZcams and see for yourselves.
I like how Peter yelled “You have a right to remain silent” when Sam didn’t even try to speak…🤣
love how his spider-sense is perfectly demonstrated at 2:58
Some people are just born to play their role in a movie, this young fella is definitely born to play spider man
Not really. Spider-Man fanboys have attachment issues. He's fine, it's not that serious.
His American accent definitely got better between civil war and homecoming
They really depowered Spider-Man in homecoming
TOM HOLLAND IS LIT THE FUNNIEST AND THE BEST (besides Chris, I love him too)
I wonder how Bucky would feel if he knew that a 15 year old is as strong as him
LittleRedRidingHood lol that's not true
Bucky has enhanced strength, Spider-Man has supernatural strength. Spiderman IS stronger. And you can't make the point that every was going easy on him because if so, then you'd have to factor in that what holds Spidey back is how is isn't serious. For a 15 year old noobie that knows what he's capable of, he showed absolutely no fear against these experienced killers.
MegaDeadpoolfan As if having a metal arm isn’t “cheating”?
I think Bucky knew immediately that spidey was a kid by how high pitched his voice is. That’s probably why he didn’t swing again or keep fighting after Spider-Man made the comment about his arm. He was probably like “holy shit. He’s a kid?” and was just so surprised he had no idea what to do other than just stand there and look at him.
Taylor Wachacha actually, the shock was probably "holy shit, he caught my punch." and then he didn't swing because the plan was to get away and punching spiderman is clearly pointless.
