Clio 182 Crash - 750MC Donington - May 2021

- A sudden rain shower during the K-TEC Clio Championship qualifying created a rather slippery track, causing a fair few sketchy moments down the Crainer Curves. Unfortunately, the number 7 Clio of Stephen Richardson, having moments before span into the gravel, was collected by the 86 of Oliver Waind, causing a fair bit of damage to both.

Could have been alot worse if I'd gone in a metre further to the left. Was glad we both managed to race after that one!
Most definitely, and it was good to see you both back out after that one, always a good race with the 750MC Clios!
They wouldn't have crashed if they were proper cars and not hair dressers cars
I'd normally be more critical of collisions like that under yellows, but the track was nasty; not too much you can do to predict or react once you're on Craners. Glad you both got back out :)
@@andyowens5494 The first thing I said to the marshalls was why wasn't there any flags out but as Steve had only just gone in they hadn't had time to deploy then yet 😏
@@Niracka1 Yeah, just watched it again and you would have been beyond post 7 (and definitely looking well beyond it) by the time the flag would have gone out. Unlucky.
