Silverstone - Crash and Action - BRSCC Weekend - August 2024

- I was left with a difficult decision this weekend since there were so many good race meetings on all at once, but I think I made the right call...
These TCR race weekends with all of their 'supports' are fantastic, with some of BRSCC's best championships on track every time there's never anything to moan about as a spectator.
This weekend in particular seemed to be quite a contact heavy one; I should imagine almost every car has gone home with a few dents that need to be ironed out. With racing this close and this competitive, I think a bit of door banging is inevitable and doesn't take away from what was a great weekend. Only downside from my point of view is exactly that, the viewing. Ever since the new fence at Luffield went up I have moved to the BRDC grandstand which gets very busy and makes filming that bit more difficult. On top of that it can get quite rowdy but honestly for me that really adds to the excitement!
I should probably mention that as many have probably seen, Will Powell had a very scary accident in the TCR race 2; unfortunately I didn't capture any of it on film since I'd put my camera down for the safety car (and wouldn't have gotten that much anyway since it was blocked by a tree). It was good to see that Will was okay and thank you to all the Marshalls who did an astounding job of cleaning it all up!

Saturday 17th & Sunday 18th August 2024
Was a cracking good weekend. Also had the 750 Motor Club put on the International so popped out there to watch a few races too 👌
Modified Fords were fantastic as well, genuinely my favourite series in the country along with Classic Thunder
Jesus there was another roll? I thought there was just the one big one they missed...... That live stream doesn't catch much does it lol
I was down at brands hatch for the c1 race weekend it was ok but only 24 cars 😊
Maybe simulators are the cause of so many people now cornering like they are playing early gran turismo with playstation controller and using other cars to steer and brake for them
@7:26, why the hell is everyone still racing under SC?
safety car board and flags went out after first car passed at that marshalls post so still racing untill car is leading sees the next safety car board and flag thats the rules
