Knockout bids only - Boxing great Ali's 'Thrilla in Manila' shorts up for sale | WeShow Sports

Muhammad Ali's shorts he wore during his legendary Thrilla in Manila fight are up for auction in New York City.
The shorts, which Ali wore during his win over Joe Frazier in their third and final fight in 1975, are expected to sell for US$4-6 million according to auction house Soethby's.
Ali's shorts surfaced in 1988 after the death of his cornerman, Drew Bundini Brown, when they were found in his storage and sold at the time for around US$1000.
Also up for auction this week is a number of basketball memorabilia including NBA Finals game worn items from Michael Jordan and Kobe Bryant as well as the basketball rim that LeBron James broke the NBA scoring record with.
