Every time I watch interviews from Trump rallies, I'm in disbelief over the ignorance of so many people in our country.
Ikr? It makes you wonder how they can walk and breathe at the same time! I used to think they were putting on the stupidity act to piss others off, but it really is not an act, they are that *ucking stupid and worse they are proud of their stupidity and wear it like a badge of honor. 🤦♀
I'm not. I worked as a police dispatcher for 15 years, answering the phones and talking to the general public. One thing that job taught me is that there are an incredible number of stupid people out there. Seriously, before I did that job I thought I was of maybe average intelligence. After speaking to so many stupid people I started feeling better about myself, thinking, "I'm glad I'm not them." Now, it's hard to surprise me with how stupid people are, though I admit that when they started eating horse dewormer instead of getting vaccinated, that lowered the bar a bit.

My 6 year old niece was given the book “Sparkle Boy” in her first week of class. Drag show story time hosted at the library next to her school. These interviews are incrediably important to conduct and share with others. I read a lot of comments after articles by NYT. Washington Post, several blog airings that say something like " I don't understand why so many people vote for Trump or MTG, Boebert.". Here, in these interviews is your answer. The million dollar question is, how do you break through this misunderstanding or lack of knowledge? Why don't Democrats hold rallies like this? It has a carnival/state fair feeling about them.
Watching this reminds me of the Jimmy Kimmel live show where they ask people bogus questions to see how they answer. Only difference is that these were legitimate questions and the funny part was their ignorance!

They look like when you go to a football game and see somebody’s SO decked out in Cardinals gear and they’re yelling “go Cardinals” and you ask them which team has the ball and they say “someone help me out, who has the ball” and you ask them who their favorite player is and they say “all the Cardinals”. They’re there cheering, but they have no idea what’s going on, what any of the rules or plays are, or even who’s winning. They just know that they were told by someone they love or trust that we want the Cardinals to win.

I see it really funny at first, then I exclaim, "You are the weakest link!" Then I think about how I would like to be 1 of these guys working for David, but I suffer from poor debate skills, just like that lady who couldn't complete her thoughts. Then empathy kicked in and I felt bad for the lady I originally laughed at. Empathy seems more of a burden these days.

Oh David, this is frightening. As an Australian I've been watching US politics in horror for the last 6 or so years, and this gives me no reason to hope for a better change.
However there is no guarantee that these people actually vote. I really hope they don't. Although, here in Australia we have compulsory voting for all adult citizens, ensuring a far more representative turnout in our elections. I assume, and really hope that the % of Americans who still feel Trump is their great overlord is diminishing. Trump cannot be allowed to return to any elected office, he has proven his unsuitability and proven his fascist leanings. Trump is a stain on American history, that I really hope people will look back on in 10 years and say how did we ever elect that conman, etc., etc., he is utterly repugnant.
