Violence and utter ignorance
The brilliance of Luke is that he doesn’t mock these people. He asks straightforward questions and they mock themselves.
And they all do it so effortlessly it's actually impressive to watch.
Also, the ability to grind out interviews. To get enough that Pakman can cut from the raw footage to find enough examples to peice together a video giving the impression that this is a representative sample. Notice how the normal guy being interviewed when the nutjob interrupted didn't actually have a full sentence from his interview included in the presentation, or any of the other normal people that stepped in to call out the nut making threats.
Yes, Luke did good with these interviews, but also impressive is the work you didn't see.

@Duke Blair It seems you don't know what "representative sample" means. Pakman was not interested in giving a fair, representative sample of the people there. He was specifically selecting from a skewed or biased sample, a selection of clips he felt highlighted the worst people he could find. The point of the guy at 11:55 was that there should be more open conversation. But the only reason we hear that much, is because of the other guy acting up. Pakman doesn't want to show what reasonable people have to say, but in this case it was worth it to him. Do you really think that the small bits of thoughtful or well spoken people all were just coincidentally on mic while off camera guy caused trouble?
You have to know better, don't you? Are you complicit in the lie if you're willfully ignoring the obvious truth? The skillful interviewer is there for most of the event recording countless interviews... and then Pakman's staff cuts most of it out, leaving only the weird answers and event to air. Then you play along and act like a few oddball represent how all of the interviews went. I'm not sure if you're gullible or despicable, but that's the actual representative sample I've encountered from Pakman followers...
...at least the majority of those who comment. Hopefully there are lots of thoughtful and considerate people who just mostly don't post. But I can only access what I've seen, I don't have an editor to filter out all the good CZcams comments.
