Hey guys! Here's a new video, this time with this video game pairing. I adore this game and i’m not vidding a lot of the games i’m playing but this time i couldn’t help myself. Avad is the best choice. He ain't no creep. He has feelings for Aloy sure and wants to spend time with her. BUT, he values and respects her time and space to allow her to continue her mission. That's a chad right there. And Aloy doesn't seem to mind the idea of staying in Meridian either (heart choice). So...

I really don’t get the Hate for Avad in the Community. yes he made a big mistake in a careless moment, and was asking too much right after Ersas death - I totally agree, and it’s good that Aloy rejected him, but after 6 MONTHS! he really cares for her deeply, and even wants to get rid of the crown when Itamen is old enough. For the obvious Reasons - he’s good looking, but he’s also very compassionate, patient and loving with her. He accepts her as she is - maybe even asexual^^
Exactly what she needs in my opinion, a calm soulmate in her stressful Life.
From the writers perspective it really seems that Guerilla is setting up for something. Already two times „at least….NOT YET“ came up in conversations. And the furtive glances and awkward behavior between these two show´s that they find themselves „at least“ very attractive ☺️
Companions like Erend, Talanah, Zo & Varl, Alva and Kotallo they are awesome I really love them all, and Erend always makes me laugh so hard 😅, reliable and adorable friends.
Aloy is around so much love in FW and her development especially in interpersonal relationships is very obvious.
I know there are a lot of different opinions about that.
Maybe even multiple choices - with WHO Aloy ends up with, or stay´s on her own (if fans want that to happen)
But Iam #teamavoy ✨

Coming in as you why I dislike the Aloy and Avad ship and please keep in mind this is just my opinion and you're free to disagree with me.
It all comes down to one point, Avad started making the moves on Aloy less then 10 minutes after learning Ersa was dead. He didn't even wait for a funeral before trying to get Aloy to fill Ersa's place. It's bascically, "Oh no, my girlfriend just died... Oh well, hey Aloy will you go out with me,"
In Avad's defense he was grieving and we all do stupid things but the fact that he apparently became opsessed with Aloy soon after meeting her to the point that six months have past and he's can't stop thinking about someone he knew for half an hour. He's more or less forgotten about Ersa, who he WAS in a relationship with for YEARS, and is already eyeing someone else up.
This is creepy!
Also his romantic jesters towards her are also rather off putting. Aloy has made it clear that she's not found when people make her out to be this larger then life figure which Avad KNOWS and yet he still has a statue of her made AND prepares a small ceremony for her. BOTH make her uncomfortable which highlights that Avad really doesn't understand her, even a little bit.
And then... their optional conversation in FW. Aloy goes to leave and Avad asks Aloy if she would reconsider entering into a relationship with him when she says he doesn't have time Avad basically pressures her into answering his question NOW. Combined with the grand jesters, him STILL placing greater emphasis on Aloy over Ersa AND the fact that I called him out on this in the last game I honestly felt uncomfortable during this moment.
Avad makes me uncomfortable because I've dealt with people who do what he does which hinders my enjoyment of him. I feel that Seyka is a MUCH Better lover for Aloy because when she goes to ask Aloy she waits for Aloy to make the first move and does so in a way that doesn't feel like she's trying to pressure Aloy into anything.
It helps that Seyka spends several hours with Aloy (7 in total) and gets to know her.
Again, Avad knew Aloy for half an hour and he didn't even wait for Ersa's funeral to make the moves on someone else. Seyka fought beside Aloy, got to know her and only when Aloy showed that she saw might see Seyka as more then a friend did she ask Aloy if they could be more.
@@Winter-The-Masquerade I agree with you, I also find it very inappropriate and stupid when Avad projected his feelings onto Aloy right after Ersa's death.
But 6 MONTHS have passed in which he was able to process and reflect. And of course we don't know when Ersa's funeral was either.
Maybe it was just after the battle in Merdian. We do not know that.
And it's not like he's obsessed with Aloy. We know how we are when we have a crush 😅
And it's not like Avad is asking her to marry him, but he's trying to find out by carefully asking if there's a chance she'd want to get to know him better...
I don't think he's 'creepy'
In my opinion I felt that he was thinking about her, precisely because he didn't do a big ceremony but a small one, and he didn't want the statue to be so pompous either (the stonemason and the other Carja wanted it to be even more spectacular but:
I overheard him with his servant, he will say something along the lines of, "this will not be necessary, it shall be humble but impressive...like the woman it honors...."
That means he's already considerate towards her.
I think it’s genuine.
As he himself said, "I'm not trying to stop you or hold you back..."
(He just doesn't know when he'll see her again, you have to consider that too)
So you can't blame him for asking that question in HFW.
I think he is very patient and compassionate. He wouldn't press any further.
And the fact that GG has indicated that he doesn't want the throne and wants to step down at some point - and Aloy is not averse to him adventuring and traveling with her... makes me suspicious. Aloy is usually very direct, if he was bothering her or she wasn't interested, she would have no hesitation in making it clear (even though he's the king).
Now that Aloy has discovered romantic feelings with Seyka in her character development (and allowing for feelings that she previously suppressed and pushed aside), we can't rule out the possibility that Avad could also be the 2nd most likely love interest.
The game will definitely give us a chance to give him a final answer one last time.
But for that they need more bonding time in H3 like with Seyka.
I seem to remember Ben mCCaw saying recently:
„that this controversial choice is not a definitive referendum on Aloy and Seyka and how their relationship will continue to evolve.“
Meaning it's not 100% certain they'll end up together...
Maybe they're keeping doors open? Otherwise they would have written it differently if she's "just the only one" to Aloy.
With the heart and brain answer you can give Avad hope for something more in the future 🤷🏼♀️
It's all so vague...
Avad met her BEFORE burning shores before her character development (where only the mission to repair GAIA was important and nobody knew anything about Nemesis)
Now that she's more 'mature' in that regard and she understands the people around her better and doesn't suppress feelings anymore...who knows 🤷🏼♀️
There will be a 2nd embassy in Meridian.
Everything ultimately always leads to Meridian also in terms of threats in attacks..why?
We'll see in the end, just my thoughts 💭
