Loving the Undaunted series so far. Rivals my favorite wargame series, Commands and Colors.
I have all the Undaunted installments except for Stalingrad after watching this I will probably pick this up soon. I like the fact that the scenarios, so far, can be played fairly quick. Good review, thank you.
I got about half way through the campaign solo, but then took a break to play 1815: Scum of the Earth. Both great games.

Great reveiw fellas, I have this game and got to say its one of the best games I have ever played. It is so good and really gets you hooked, in a good way , 10/10 for me :-)
The term "conflict simulation" is growing on me daily. (to replace war game)
Nice review! Seems a very interesting wargame and I love the campaign mechanics, seem so realistic.
I hear Stalingrad is a popular subject matter lol.
I'd like to hear more about how the long-term attrition works out for you guys. I suspect various reinforcements/upgrades will come in at staggered and differing rates for each side, judging by your dive bomber and sniper example. Does that include literal reinforcements at some points in the future? Will be interesting to hear about it once you've gone further in the campaign.
I expect to pick it up eventually but since my only gaming buddy has been diagnosed my 2-player games are getting less playtime. Perhaps I'll grab it after seeing what you guys think of the campaign after getting deeper into it. Thanks!
Presently we are in Scenario 7.
The QA on the combat counters is a bit crummy. I get that some of the art bleeds over the punchboard, but when the infantry are missing half their heads, someone goofed. Probably whoever was in charge of color matching the reinforcements expansion. Granted, the Germans are mostly ok, but the Russians look like Erwin Konig got a piece of them. Other than that, though, great gameplay as usual.
Good review. You're right though, the Stukas aren't balanced. When they are in the scenario, just retreat off the board as the Soviet player and live to fight another day,
Whats annoying is that it's hard to play a one off game while in the middle of a campaign
This "is it a wargame?" stuff is so old in my mind that it has gone past pointless and back around into ridiculous. Not blaming G&A. Blaming the miserable cusses who insist on keeping it alive as an issue. Any idiot can look at Undaunted and see it's a wargame.

Yes I'm gonna flog all my games and play Up Front, Smoke dissapates on a breeze resolution, I got pzfaust everything in one box and only 2 expansions it sets up in seconds plus my my weapons might break , just about solitaireable , but I'm keeping airborne commander ,,, cheers

Yeas , but there's no Mayev Kurgan , red October factory lot's that's not there, ferry crossings , gullies,,,,,!!!! I don't think the Reds were ever allowed to whithdraw ,the German certainly wernt whithdrawing as history testified,shem Von Paulus u are now feld marshall, I have got difficulty learning the ton of games I've allready so I'm very picky now az to what I get into, great fog cards very evocative, I will have to get ndaunted battle of Britain though ,, + no panzerfaust bazookas or anti tank Pak in Normandy which I admit I haven't played yet , the game badly in need of streatch goals then I fall in love, ta , byby ✍️🪶🕊️
