      Normandy, it is the only one I've played. I have played the whole campaign. North Africa may change that when I start playing it in the next month or so.

      I would say Stalingrad since it can be played in a campaign mode !

      I've only played Normandy and Stalingrad, but very definitely the latter... It is awesome!

    Really amazing explanation of the rules, honestly I've always been checking a video of the game before I dive into the rulebook to easy the process and get faster on the table. You manage with this video not to touch the rulebook, only on specific occasions to check something that I wasn't sure or remembering correct. The rules explained and afterward having watch the 2p setup and playthrough was incredible. Thanks for your time and effort on what you're doing, and keep doing it like that. 👌👌

    Great video. Please can you clarify the Control action. If the other player already controls a tile which I have scouted then I know my rifleman cannot take control of that tile while the other player has an unrouted unit in that tile, but can I still use the control action in that situation to flip the other player’s control token back to the Scouted side ( ie so that neither player now controls the tile)? That’s how I read the rules but your explanation implies that you can’t do this.

      Yeah, I'd like to do more of these. I even did one for Endless Winter, but the audio was a problem, so had to re-record it and felt it was easier to do it on my own for that one

    I was playing this game and the rule book kept referring to the “play area,”;does anyone know what that is?

  • @JohnBancroft
    @JohnBancroft Před rokem

    This was great.... quick question on the inspire action. Can you inspire a different unit or does it have to be the one you've just used? For example, if you played Rifleman A, but you want to inspire Machine Gunner A, can you if they are in the discard pile?

    • @GamingRulesVideos
      @GamingRulesVideos  Před rokem +1

      It can be any unit, but if the Inspire action specifies a squad, it has to be from that squad.

  • @colonize4
    @colonize4 Před rokem

    Paul, I am creating some holders for the unit tokens. Do you mind measuring their thickness or comparing it with Normandy ones. In Reinforcements the unit tokens thickness was a bit lower than the original ones. Thanks.

    • @GamingRulesVideos
      @GamingRulesVideos  Před rokem

      10 of them stacked up is 2cm high

    Thanks for this great video.
    I have a question about the rule you explain at time code 18:20.
    I understand what you're saying well enough. While the old rule from Normandy felt logical and right, this seems a bit weird.
    Is there a logical reason for this rule change to do with the campaign? If not, then do you have any thoughts on why they changed it?

    • @GamingRulesVideos
      @GamingRulesVideos  Před rokem +1

      It's a good point, but you'd have to ask the designers why they implemented the change. It does take a bit of getting used to.

      The two people at the table had never played before, so this was me teaching them how to play, and afterwards, they were able to play it ok, so my teach can't have been that bad :)
