I have not played any of the Ubdaunted so my only comment is... Wow getting a lady to play a war game and you said she enjoyed it. Wow how fantast is that. What a great lady. I am not joking or teasing. Totally sincere.
Kim is cool. She plays all sorts of games with me.
My wife's great uncle Karl Müller died at Stalingrad (fought with the 79th Infantry Division, around the Red October tank factory). I have letters and photos he sent home during his service. Sounds like a terrible battle, but a great topic for a card game, ha. Thanks for the review. Will have to pick this one up

The only negative I have for this game is that it is over. The last 3 missions we had were tense and kind of crazy. I'm actually looking forward to handing it off to someone else to enjoy.

I managed to pick up one of the last copies of war stories, and haven’t gotten to unwrap it since. But I’m still tempted to get a copy of undaunted Stalingrad in case the print run sells out.
Grab it. I don't think you can currently get Undaunted: Reinforcements - which is essential IMHO.
@@TheDiscriminatingGamer Damn. I'm not normally one for digital tabletop, outside of TTS, but it seems like they really need to make a digital version so there's always stock of these things.

Mine is still in plastic wrap. I’m waiting to find the right player to dig in. Undaunted is a great system. Can’t wait to try battle of Britain.

Finaly manage to find someone. The campaign end yesterday. It was a blast. Best Undaunted game by far. I will go even further, best campaign game ever. More then Clank legacy, Aeon’s end legacy, Pandemic legacy. A 10/10 for me. The casualties and upgrade system change everything. I hope you will have the chance to go till the end of the campaign.

There is one glairing flaw with this game unfortunately. You can win the entire campaign by just ignoring the objective/s and focusing the opposing team's riflemen. :(
That's actually a legitimate strategy - part of the original game as well. It's hardly a flaw.
@@TheDiscriminatingGamerThat is true it was part of the original strategy, but in Stalingrad this strategy is unbalanced due to your cards being replaced by recruits. By the 5th scenario, almost all my riflemen were crappy recruits, so my opponent just continued to ignore the objectives and focus my riflemen. There is no coming back since they can never be promoted. To me, that is game breaking.
Them generals up and left them and went to help the Ukrainians. 😂

It was disappointed due to all the Elba grease you put into it. You considered going back to the time when Colonial America broke away from England, but found it all too revolutionary. 🥷
