BIG BASEBALL SIZE GRAINS OF SALT!
BIG LIKE MY BALLS KING-SAMA
2:45 don't go making fun of my people.......
King Of Lightning once you said big baseball size grain of salt I scrolled down and see the comment perfect timing🤣🤣
Finally somebody said it, when I get new info from them they just make the story more confusing tbh.
Yeah
It still said Momonosuke was born on Wano (we know he wasn't), he was born on Whitebeard ship. Vivre Cards shouldn't be taken seriously
International Law in the real world State's the Child's nationallity is based on the Mothers Nationality and if that isn't known then the Mothers parents Naationality(As in Obama was born in Kenya believers still Lose as His mom and Moms parents are from Hawaii)
Turns out Lady Took is not only the daughter of citizens of Wano but a member of one of the Noble houses even if she didn't marry Oxen = Momonosuke Country of Origin/Nationality Wano
@@FrarmerFrank Nope, Katakuri's Vivre card just said on a boat (Big Mom's vivre card say the Grand Line).
@@Replica_Rabbit wrong
Next vivi card gonna say that the sea king that took shanks arm knew advanced form of armament haki all along lol
Lol 😂
The stairs that killed Kinua probably had Ryou too
@@juanperret7044 its going to turn out the stairs had the next level of kings haki and intimidated her to fall down
I just left a comment about this lol. Only acceptable explanation of shanks losing his arm to a damn seaking would that he saw the future with haki and it was the only way to save luffy- by diving between luffy and the seaking that was coming in hot- mind you luffy was in the middle of sea near no land and shanks teleports between them.
@@jonsin7697 that's the best explanation. Luffy who ate a devil fruit in the sea before a sea king. Now with that in mind looking at how far shanks is. He came in between them super quick like a fishman and barely saved Luffy losing an arm.
It’s time to accept vivre cards are creditless lol I’ll stick to SBS
Well here its also said that its only Implying and not confirmed but besides the bounties most thing tend to be changed later on anyway

He did have haki. Read his fight with Luffy again, he kicked luffy in the face and caused him to bleed, Luffy even confusingly noted it saying "but im rubber"

Wudupbay yeah this is actually a really valid point. After all it never specifically mentioned he had it during the fight with luffy which i feel like would’ve been a huge point to add onto it.
Rob Lucci was obviously using Haki though.
UnexpectedWonder what’s man are you going response
@@staticshadic What???
UnexpectedWonder what mean by that is are you going make video response?
4 years from pre time skip, 2 years from post time skip?! King be on that time time fruit
Didn't Black Beard tell Luffy that his Haki was getting stronger in Impel down, and that was pre time skip
And? Everyone knows Luffy had Kings Haki pre timeskip, this isn't a mystery
In a interview Oda was asked: If Luffy is immune to blunt force how does nami hurt him like garp with her punches even though she doesn't know haki? Oda states: During those gag moments nami is emotional & small spurts of spirit come out! Emotions and spirit or will is already established with a connection! With that being said that example of nami is just one of many where haki was being used unknowningly on a subconscious level! Zoro did it with mr1, Luffy did it twice at marineford etc, Colby & the little girl in skypiea did it too! To add to this point Rayleigh even said haki is a power within everyone the thing is they just never trained to harness & use it! So with that being said it wouldn't be far fetched to say Rob Lucci's or cp9 training in rokushiki allowed him to unlock a low level of haki that he unknowningly lets out subconsciously in random burst like nami! Vice admirals are trained in rokushiki & know haki, whose to say that level of conditioning doesn't prep the body to unlock haki low-key subconsciously?
Hmm could be
And how does this prove that Lucci had haki pre timeskip?
@@pizzweak580 he literally explained why. read the comment once again
lmaooo dude really explained that?! he could have just said that its for gags
I’ve always seen rokushiki as the basic foundation that could be built upon to form haki, particularly tekkai. And perhaps the ought 6th type that lucci used is a weak version of the tier 3 haki luffy is training to master.
Edit: not saying the vivre cards should be accepted as a credible source but I see it in the aforementioned way
Yeah me too, always thought that tekkai especially so similar to haki
If any attack Lucci used involved haki, Luffy would have taken massive damage and noted that his rubber defenses suddenly stopped working. Luffy SPECIFICALLY notes whenever an attack hurts him in a way that ignores his rubber completely, often by saying "wait a minute, I'm made of rubber, wtf?"
To be fair luffy had haki since pre time skip according to The Zehahaha himself, but luffy didn't aware of that. Maybe Lucci didn't aware of his haki(but already blooming?) Hence he can't do armament??? Maybe....
Yeah i always thought this also
Haki has been thing since chapter 1 lmao ,luffy and Zoro were using haki already ,luffy beat the boa sisters with advanced haki ,plus lucci was hyped by kuma and vice admirals lmao ,and cp9 was the best cipher pol at that time ,lucci having basic haki and the rest is fine we just need more in the story on it and not databook
Let's not forget that Haki it's will itself, so when someone has strong haki, means he has strong will, in that particular case with blackbeard you could say that luffy had strong untrained will, after the timeskip he learned how to use his will on a fight
@@goldmo2427 The way to use haki is to use it, its not self active, everyone has it even citizens but their not using it because the user needs to be aware of it. Lucci was using a defined skill that can be used without Haki, Haki was around in chapter one but it was used secretly by a prominent pirate in Shanks.
What's wrong with the Vivi cards in this matter is it jumps the gun, does Shanks have the six powers. The Six Powers by the time we enter the New World its broken down in stages to a generic ability Mum's kids can use to some degree.
Blackbeard did say that Luffy's haki was looking stronger in Impel Down iirc but it's possible the translation wasn't quite accurate as to what Teach was trying to say. It's also possible that Teach simply knew that Luffy had Conqueror's haki and could feel it had become strong enough to finally activate. As we have recently learned, Teach was on Whitebeard's ship long enough to fight with/fight against people like Gol D. Roger, Oden, Silver's Rayleigh, Prime Whitebeard, etc. If anyone had the capacity to sense conqueror's haki, it would be him of all people.
KOL is putting way much more effort into the power levels of one piece than Oda is lol. oda probably forgot about most of the old moves and just accepted haki as the new measure of strength.
nah, why is everyone avoiding the obvious that haki was literally through out one piece but never had a name to it besides the skypieans. u don't need to use haki to have it, or else NO one could learn it or have a knack for it
@@devinrone2397 Exactly!
Naw...Rob Lucci was obviously using Haki.
@@phantomlord69 They were aware. There are different levels of Haki usage and Skill. Look @ Luffy vs. "The Hyena" Bellamy for example.
@@UnexpectedWonder no he wasnt
C'mon King you are blowing this way out of proportion man. There are a few explanations that can make sense of this without leaving a plot hole.
1. Lucci awakened Haki after the battle of Enies Lobby just like Koby after Marineford. That's still Pre-Timeskip.
2. He had just begun to learn Haki at the time and wasn't able to use it freely.
3. He was more confident in his Rokushiki and didn't think he needed to master or even use Haki. Since he never failed any mission up to that point.
4. Rokushiki could easily be a combination of kenpo and haki that is in its infancy.
It doesn't say "Lucci was proficient in Observation and Armament Haki pre-timeskip." It just says he had it without specifying how long or how well he could use it.
teniendo en cuenta el tiempo que perdio jugando al espia em galleyla
There is nothing stating he was able to do it before the Vivre Card. Yeah, no. He does not have haki pre timeskip, not even remotely close. And your point about it being a combination is outright wrong, as Luffy would have fucking died if it was plus the techniques all have explanations that debunk this easily and the Six King Gun has been debunked, it works like an impact dial. If it was haki, it wouldn't have been explained to specifically work like an impact dial. You're honestly just in denial and trying to reach for something that doesn't exist
I always thought the ryokoshiki was supposed to be a precursor to haki , at least the Tekkai aspects but lucci finger pistol to luffy not working makes no sense unless they say this level of haki is so low that it has no effect on devil fruit users that are immune to normal forms of damage
PoolOutDaBoot this honestly might be the answer.
I think it’s clear that they’re trying to say that CP0 members have to master all the of ryoshiki techniques before learning haki, meaning that Lucci who had mastered the techniques was given clearance to learn haki, and due to him being in the process of training his armament, he wasn’t adept with it yet. That would clear up everything
@@uncleiroh4650 Yeah, no
the six forms techniques being used to teach the basics of haki I could see. I just never thought of these things as canon
I feel like the rokushiki style is a kenpo that is derived from the study of haki
Does everything really need to connect to haki?
Is Haki what drives their world/universe??
I see it like this: At higher levels rokushiki seamlessly "evolves" into haki.
The Seimei Kikan for example is in my opinion on the edge to being a haki technique. The tekkai is emulating the effects of CoA (though it most definitely isn't yet, remember, they couldn't move while doing it because their bodies were so tense), so that once you got actual haki you'd have experience in hardening your body. The Kami-e can be improved massively once you get into the haki territory, with CoO.
I think the WG is teaching Rokushiki to its members to create almost Haki users en masse, and to help their soldiers, assassins etc. find their way to obtaining haki without the need for individual training for each one to unlock it.
Ra Horakhty
Yeah remember reliyagh (forgot his name) do similar thing to the elephant.
Kicking the air has nothing to do with haki. Furthermore advance haki users don't display the ability to do what cp9 was doing
MisterSureShot I mean? It literally does
Haki is literally just “will power/spirit” and everyone has that... even usopp
Even a fcking kid in skypiea had haki
This is what happens when a series has gone on for this long. Eventually, retcons start becoming a frequent thing. The longer a series goes on, in One Piece's case for 20+ years, the higher the chances that plot holes and contradictions will start to come about as a result of changes and retcons made by the author. Think of it like how with Star Wars, George Lucas changed and retconned a whole bunch of stuff from the original trilogy with the special editions and prequel trilogy, which pissed off a lot of fans. One Piece has been around long enough that it's now starting to go through it's own Geroge Lucasification.
Oda didn't retcon anything. If it's not in the manga, it's not canon.
@@AizenIsKubo I sure hope so, but if this information in the Vivre Cards is actually coming from Oda, then that's a whole other matter.

If Rokushiki is connected to Haki then coby has learned haki pre time skip which obviously did not happen.
He literally woke up from Luffy's punch like "who's voiced are these?" even though he knew Rokushiki since Water 7.
Oda's getting old
Oh god, he's becoming toriyama akira
I don't understand what's the problem is. The vivre card said that lucci "strenghtened his haki" the same think can be said about luffy since he started developing his haki around impel down.
YOU'RE SO WRONG ON THIS MATTER KOL !
Lucci did hit Luffy's true form (he hurt him) which is what Haki is all about. Just like Garp.
Haki doesn't cancel Luffy's DF/rubber ability. He's still rubber but can fully feel the attack covered in Haki.
After all this time, you still don't understand the concept of Haki KoL ?! Haki is NOT Kairoseki (Sea Stone) ! Again it doesn't cancel your DF !
And we all supposed Tekkai was a form of Haki, it's so obvious ! Just like Kami-E is Observation Haki
You don't want to believe this because you rank Lucci pretty high in your rankings because you assume he "learned" Haki over the timeskip so you can power boost him lol gtfo Lucci isn't that strong just like Enel isn't that OP compared to current characters in the manga !
If lucci learned haki pre timeskip there's no way luffy can defeat him
@@williancollins5135 And why is that ?
Luffy beat Enel who had really good Observation Haki
@@groovytony5568 luffy defeated enel because of devil fruit advantage. In a battle between 2 devil fruit users without direct advantage against one, haki tactics and experience is the key. We knew lucci have more experience and a better tactician than luffy. There's no way luffy can defeat him if he have armament haki during those times where luffy is still weak.
1: No, because Luffy himself makes a DISTINCT note of when he's hit with haki pre-skip. He says flat out that being hit by people using what we now know is haki, felt different. Garp, Sentomaru, the snake sister. he specifically commented on their attacks feeling different. He never stated this at all against Lucci. Nothing implied Lucci was using haki.
2: Tekkai and Kami-e are not forms of haki. Tekkai is literally just hardening your muscles/flexing, and kami-e has nothing to do with predicting attacks, it just makes your body very loose and flexible so you can dodge more easily.
Had Lucci actually had Haki, He'd have killed Luffy easily. Luffy wasn't even able to harm the snake sisters with his attacks, and his hits literally bounced off the fat one. THAT'S haki.
The idea that Lucci had Haki, and all the rokushiki techniques, and his backround as an incredible fighting genius able to butcher 500 soldiers as a 13 year old boy, and STILL LOST TO LUFFY IN A FISTFIGHT, is absurd. According to you, Lucci is absolute dogshit if he had all of that and strill couldn't beat a guy that wasn't even able to beat a single pacifista.
@@groovytony5568 Observation is a whole other deal. the reason Luffy was able to fight Enel is that Enel's offensive options against him were very limited, meanwhile his attacks could harm Enel. If Enel could use armament haki, he'd have both been able to shrug off luffy's attacks, and strike him hard enough to do real damage even without his weapon.
Knowing one type of haki doesn't mean you can use all of it. Usopp awakened observation haki on Dressrossa, doesn't mean he can suddenly use armament. Maybe had Enel kept exploring further, and maybe searching for connections to Mantra he could have, but as we saw since getting his DF power he had basically been relying entirely on it.
Also, since the goro goro no mi enhances mantra, it's possible his base observation level wasn't even that high as well.
With this absurd information, i'm really 101% confirmed that Nami did had Armament haki all along. She can one-shotted the 1.5 billion bounty boy with ease everyday and Kaido must take note for it 😂

People had been theorizing that Rokushiki techniques are connected to Haki for a while now, specifically recently for Lucci's Rokuogan being advanced armament. So if this is true then I wouldn't be surprised. I agree with you though.
King your starting to sound like the goth kids in South Park "per se" 🤣🤣
im sticking to the old cannon because it just doesnt make sense, yes rob lucci should have had armament haki if he was that high up in the world government but pre-time skip luffy wouldnt survive
Sure he could of survived because he did! Cp9 had haki it was just on the level of something we would see in are own world as like a trick from a monk they just weren't as efficient as the top tiers we all know and love.
Cp9 to post timeskip enemies are complete fodder. Sure they are still getting stronger but Luffy has far surpassed them.
Status doesn't equal fighting power. It completely makes sense that cp9 didn't have haki
4d chess play by Oda 😂😂😂😂
For me i already knew he had it. He was with the government since he was a kid. Thinking he didnt have it just coz we didnt see it would be crazy. The "timeskip" only effects the rookies not already known figuers in the OP world. If a unknown vice-admiral from the marine has it Imagine a 28 year old WG assassin not having haki.
That makes sense but he was highly succesful as an assassin without haki. Characters mainly villians dont hone their abilities if they have a high rate of success all the time. If lucci had haki, he would certainly have used it on luffy. But luffy not being hurt too much by his blunt attacks proves he doesnt have it. Him not choosing to use it doesnt make sense
10:22 I have to disagree on this one because the anime keeps changing colors and effects of haki 24/7 so you can’t be sure that purple aura = haki anymore
How are we supposed to know what is what if it's not mentioned. We're supposed to head canon everything now aargh
Well i dont think he used purple slashes anywhere in the NW other than when he used haki. First time was to defeat Pika, it was purple. But again thats just the anime, for Oda everyones haki is just black officially other than G4
When Rob poke Luffy’s neck Luffy was in pain... he was holding his neck. Haki doesn’t take away the devil fruit ability like BB, it allows you to apply pressure to intangible objects or in Luffy case apply pressure to a soft substance. He didn’t pierce him because it’s a finger and he didn’t activate his Zoan form so he could’ve grown sharp nails to kill him. That was the trick Oda laid out.
If he used haki pre timeskip, it would still hurt Luffy because IT HURTS DEVIL FRUIT USERS.
Piss Weak Exactly my point bro/ sis. That’s why he was holding his neck. If it wasn’t, then he would bounce it off him like the other fights.
@@donmega6892 So that finger pistol would have killed him. If it was haki, Luffy would be dead, but he isn't
Luffy still need a air way to breath so reacting his air way being closed.
Rohan Mitchell nah, that was a in pain reaction. Remember Grap punches, yeah, that hurt more then that poke, He didn’t bleed, he was holding his head in pain. Same as the neck poke. It hurts him only. Haki or not if it’s not a piercing object hurting him, it won’t kill.
On the next card luffy had awakening pre time skip lol
Haki was a planned concept. It wasn't a concept that Oda just baked on the spot. Since the first time Luffy met Garp, it was explicitly repeated by Luffy "why can his fists harm me when I'm rubber?". So Oda definitely knew that Haki was a way to bypass devil fruit powers.
Lucci couldn't have had Haki. Unless their training was actually super customized application of Haki, and that they themselves didn't know that it was Haki.
Anyway, I don't care about Vivre Cards. We got the manga. And the pre-TS fights wouldn't make a lot of sense with post-TS power levels.
Haki refers to your willpower, not necessarily your “soul.”
Haki is specifically tied to the spirit, Busoshoku Haki literally translates to spiritual armor.
Even if it doesn't mean "soul", willpower is still a *mental* discipline.
Clearly a separate thing from a *physical* discipline like the Rokushiki techniques.
Why is this Bull again? Sure he had Haki but it's not as though he could fully utilize his Haki. Zoro himself was using Haki before the timeskip without knowing it. This doesn't contradict anything.
Did you not listen to King? If Lucci actually has Haki, Luffy would die. The shockwave attack is literally stage 4 Haki, if it was really haki based.
Can you tell me the difference between Kenpo and Haki-based Kenpo?
Hey Arnold He would have killed luffy
you defend one piece way too much...
@@mistersureshot1749 Am I not allowed to point out when someone is wrong?
Are impact dials Haki based? Why yes they are. And here is why:
Let me tell you a story of a shellfish named Terry-kun. Terry-kun was an adventurous shellfish well known all throughout the blues. His stories of traveling the blues had made him famous far and wide, including the Grand Line. His adventures had taken him from places as close to home as The Goa Kingdom, to lands believed to be fantasy such as Sky Island. Terry-kun had a hobby of inhabiting various different shells. Terry-kun spent the majority of his life in many different shells, leaving behind faint traces of his omnipotent Armament Haki. Eventually, stories of Terry-kun reached the citizens of Sky Island. Civilians from all over the Sky Islands collected shells from the White-White Sea's shores, hoping to find the shells used by Terry-kun. They eventually learned of the Haki imbued in these shells, and used them in every day life as well as warfare.
As mentioned on several Poneglyphs, Uranus, the heavenly Sky Shellfish, had destructive capabilities equal to Poseidon and Pluton. Uranus had been sought after during the Void Century particularly by the now forgotten D Clan. Many thought that with the destruction of the D clan, Terry-kun, aswell, had been buried in history. It truly was a shame, that Joy Boy could not keep his promise with Poseidon. To sail the entire Grand Line on Pluton, with Terry-kun together.
the only thing thats dangerous, is the fact that you think sanji is on zoros level or even above
Yep . Even I have to admit that Sanji is seriously lagging behind .
Sanji is on Zoro’s level. And Zoro is way behind Luffy.
This isn’t the first time he beat a haki user pre-timeskip, it’s not impossible
He could have had haki and not utilized it effectively.
Highly doubt it, considering that he wasn't able to even hurt Luffy until he used his Leopard form.
everybody has haki, but to awaken is hard. life and death experience like Colby. training itself dont awaken haki, just strength it. usopp awaken his haki when he try to snipe Sugar. The black coating isnt level 2 haki. All haki is invisible, it is only drawn black for viewer to see
this is actually false. Zoro's training with Mihawk implies that the "Black blade" color change is a literal, visible change. Although we don't know the specifics of a blade becoming a PERMANENT Black Blade, we know that the physical change is totally visible. In general, the concept of Black Blades means that people can plainly see when a user has coated their weapons in level 2 haki or higher.
That being said, there is an implication that level 1 armament haki does appear to be invisible as Pekoms fist didn't turn black when one shotting Caribou. We do know for a fact however that level 2 and higher do actually show off a visible change.
@@Shoddragon but wouldnt this open some plot holes. 1. what is the purpose of invisible haki? 2. oda also needs to show haki in a battle instead of making us guess. 3. luffy coats his hand black when using level 3 but everyone else doesnt. 4. then there is the entire marineford arc. 5. why dont rodger, rayliegh, oden have black blades?
@@Shoddragon another plot hole when luffy beat the pacifista sentomaru said he used armament but it wasnt drawn in. How could sentomaru see it but us viewer cannot?
@@soccersmith8956 i look at the black coating as just a more concentrated use of armament. Marineford as a whole was wonky. If it were redone, you would most definitely see some black coating. And roger and rayleighs blades arent black because they arent swordsman, they just use swords. Oden's sword isnt black because he died before he got to blacken his blade
@@soccersmith8956 in the manga with the introduction of Ryou it was shown that you can use haki without having the black coating so it's implied Sentomaru was using Ryou during Sabaody which is why his Haki didn't coat his arms. That's not a plot hole
IMHO it was implied that Lucci used some form of armament haki. Very limited and begginer-like, but it was there. The same with Luffy, Zoro and Sanji. They were using since long before the time skip. They just didn't know what it was to have it mastered.
What happened was that Oda chose to give hake a visual representation in the form of blackened limb or body part.
Just my two cents on the matter.
CP9 promised that they would let the SHs leave Water 7 alive. Also just because he had and knew Haki it doesn't mean he was able to use it in the same way as current Luffy for example.

I literally was having this debate on Twitter 4 days ago and everyone was telling me about how perfect haki was planned out. The blind faith in Oda is alarming. People turn their brains off when reading OP and let it get away with things they wouldn't let other series get away with
I don't mind retcons honestly it's the blind faith and you can't criticize oda that pisses me off with the fanbase even when some things are clear as day.
It depends how to phrase it - at least for the uk “he strengthened his haki” could simply imply that he strengthened his none existent haki. Or like you said it could imply that he already had haki
Or just conquerers
Maybe they meant that Lucci awakened it after his fight with Luffy. Just like Coby in the aftermath of the War.

well, i may be hated, but for the sake of discussion...i dont see something wrong with this. to elaborate, in my mind (so ok its more of a headcannon i guess) rokushiki such as tekkai and kamie ressemble a hell of a lot armament and observation respectivily but with some key differences. first i believe if cp9 members allegedly were using 'haki' it was lets say an unconcious one (headcannon again, i know), i mean there were trained to learn and finally acquired the rokushiki which is a martial art, but in actuality there were reinforcing there predosposition of their haki which ultimately is a power dormant in all living beings in the one piece world. rokushiki training awakens this power or leads you to some day awaken it. but rokushiki is also a martial art on its on with techniques like genpo and others ones not related to haki. furthermore i am not trying to imply that lucci and the others were using quote on quote haki when up against the strawhats. i am saying they had a primature version of haki, which as king stated could be categorized in tiers. they possesed close to zero point something level of haki.....or whatever and that is projected through their use of rokushiki. having rokushiki equals the beginning, the actual threshold of haki, its not a requirement just a faster approach the marines use to easily strenghten their troopes in ciphel pol. now about the pre-timeskip part, luffy for example could use conquerors pre-timeskip also unconciously. my though prossess is that the cp9 members were unbeknownst even to them training for haki namecoded as rokushiki. pre-timeskip also means up until marineford....so it doesnt have to be in ennies lobby, they could have just acquired it just like coby with observation (although that was a gained throught the shock coby endured, but still i focus on the time this occured being pre-timeskip as well). overall i kinda see it as a bit of a stretch to be honest but i dont view as rubbish or a stupid retcon, in retrospect it makes sense for the cp9 to have some form of haki a power so infuencial in the whole story going forward. thats all sorry for the long post, thnks for reading
Well thought out and explained friend.
It's possible that Lucci gained haki after Luffy's fight, but was not a master at it. "Haki blooms in intense situations." Kobi gained haki after marineford war. So it's also possible Lucci awakened haki after fighting Luffy and started training it.
It could just mean that lucci had conquers haki.
Mabey Rob didn't use haki when he had Luffy in his throat? Cuz he didn't know he was rubber? I mean in that point in the story?
If you have Haki why wouldn’t you use it given your trying to kill your opponent. Their is no reason not to use Haki.
Lucci was capable of hitting luffy pre timeslot though so it does make sense, otherwise how do you explain his ability to hurt him otherwise?
Thomas Hodge Luffy being rubber man and only lessens the force of impact. If a person is strong enough they can hit him without haki and hurt him.
@@JyMaster1 wrong
@@JyMaster1 Really? Moriah literally flattened Luffy and he got out uninjured Lucci having Haki kinda makes sense though I assume he couldnt coat himself
If Lucci had Haki Luffy would of been dead with those piercing Shigans.... aaand I was still playing the video and KOL just said the same lmao
@@ZehRooKiE the shigan was piercing him anyway adding haki wouldnt have killed him
I literally forgot about that Brook vs Ryuma fight entirely. Like, I knew it happened, but I didn't remember that scene at all.
I wish Oda had more exposition in the actual manga/anime. Oda wants to just finish the story but I want him to do One Piece for the rest of his life lol. I would be happy with endless spin-off series.
I've always thought of Rokushiki as incomplete Haki.
That's only your thoughts, not facts
These type of small details make one piece great, they’re important..
Not surprised he had Haki. There's a few people that should have kaki that luffy beaten
Tbh at this point, I don't think it matters. Haki as a concept pre-time skip is so shaky and not clear that trying to wrap your head around where it is present and where it is not is a headache, and the more you think about it feels like you will just be digging for a plot hole.
Didn't Oda made it clear that on his breaks he literally goes through his one piece lore so that he doesn't forget
MyNameisNohbody where and when was this stated
to be honest haki is kinda bland
in apperamce and what its used for
and the power system is really overly complicated and over inflated from all the random things oda has added in.
oda sure loves his thong's doesn't he?
@@blueguy15 you miss read it
people trying to decipher everything to see clean things are the complicated. They dont let one piece flow!! Doesnt matter this stuff, one piece always was random like youre saying, and thats the essense. Now, things are more serious and we have a scale of power that I love it, and I don't need to go back fcking around with bllsht
@@mostacho8251 Because only bad authors do this, authors should not be allowed to get away with shitty writing and plot holes. Oda is to good for that.
@LameDoodler Nen is in no way bland or overcomplicated, nen is probably the best power system in ANY anime.
How abou taking it this way:
CP9 are all trained to use rokushiki which is a type of kenpo. However, one technique, tekkai, depend on or is a form of armament haki. When learning rokushuki, they did not know that what they're doing is very similar to haki, but after joining CP0 to learn haki, they found that they are already accustomed to its basics. Therefore, it was quite easy for them to strengthen it and focus on its development, unlike luffy who had absolutely no idea.
Oda: oops, it's all haki.
Foxy pirate has haki comfirmed

How else could you explain Lucci being able to hurt Luffy?I mean,by punching him.
Take the G away from Oda. Haki was not planned out. And he retconned nekumanushi he now has haki
Haki has been hinted since alabasta. But people with haki first shown in skypea with observation.
@@ajose1070 I highly disagree. The breath of all things isn't haki and hasn't been used by zoro since. That's a reach
@@ajose1070 furthermore that would observation haki. There wasn't any hint of armament haki. If they were they would've had an answer for enel and crocodile but no one could touch them but luffy due to odas retro pokemon style battle system
Purple Clouds nahh first off the , when luffy touches crocodile for the first time he says “did he learn it”. In skypea a lot of people have observation haki that’s confirmed. Armament haki is then stated and seen on the amazon island. There have been hints scattered across the story
Purple Clouds not talking about breath of all things.
Rob Luccy has some baby tier haki. Nah wait more like cripple tier xD
King of lightning about to revoke odas N word pass
Haki being everything is just gonna turn the power system into another bleach naruto dbz etc
See this is why Data books and stuff have to be taken with a grain of salt. I normally treat the manga as absolute canon. Power scaling in one piece is already crazy enough with a non-linear power system. But ridiculous information from data box coupled with the absurd head canon of some fans results in situations where people honestly think that luffy is emperor level rn.
grimstoryteller thank you. But you know Zoro is also too tier like luffy and they both can beat current yonkos like many fans believe 😂😂
When Disney buys One Piece...
Well, after revealing of the advanced armament haki by Hyogoro, I started to think, that some Rokushiki technics are just imperfected Armament haki. So I'm not as mad as KoL rn.
I view the techniques that cp-9 used in pt to be precursors of haki and I think that’s what oda meant. I believe that the finger bullet technique uses tier 1 haki or tier .5 haki. Basically I believe that oda isn’t being specific enough here.
This is why I like the King of Lightening 😂🤣
Because of his headcanon lol?
One Piece power system is chaotic.
Chaotic is the social media people trying to decipher everything to see clean things. let one piece flowwfloww
I think Rokushiki was some kind of compilation move that implementing others skill to their style. So while the Rokushiki user was not know haki as it is, but skill like tekkai and finger pistol i assume implementing a certain degree armament haki into it, and the same as kami-e use a certain degree of obesrvation haki. It's quite make sense.
Now we might get an explanation for moon walk or soru origin as we can assume rankyaku some kind of swords-like long range attack. Unless we wanna accept that a leg strength can make you kick the air and make you walk in the air(blue walk in Sanji's case).
It's only prove that DF was not the only thing that's so fascinating, there's many skill in one piece world that did some kind of manipulation skill orimplementing some kind of style like Fish-man Karate.
I feel like these details are there only so that when Lucci returns, there'll be an easy explanation for why his haki is so strong. Luffy's haki is quite strong and he learned it quickly because he is innately gifted with strong haki. When Lucci returns and his haki matches Luffy's, readers will wonder how he got so good so fast if he never had any to begin with at Enies Lobby. You would think if he was also innately gifted, he would've already been using it so he can't just naturally be as good as Luffy.
The vivre card doesn't specify to what proficiency or which types of haki Lucci could use pre-TS. It could be that he was aware of it and maybe had basic observation and nothing else which would be totally acceptable. If they come out and say that he had armament pre-TS, then that's obviously bs. But he may have been so confident with his rokushiki that he never bothered training haki even though he could do observation a little bit. He could've been like Coby with a natural ability to use observation but never trained beyond that.
So to explain how strong Lucci got so quick, maybe Oda will say that Lucci had known about haki and already had some observation but never trained it at all. And also the training for rokushiki was similar to the training for haki so the CP9 members grasped the concept quite quickly; not necessarily saying that Tekkai and armament haki are the same, just that the training and focusing your mind and body are similar between haki and rokushiki.
Anyway, I realize I'm bending over backwards a bit here to try and explain it but I don't think it necessarily creates a plot hole - just as long as they don't say he could use armament pre-TS cause that's definitely r-
If he had haki, Luffy would've have died. Haki Shigan = Luffy full of holes.
Not really.
Also would have dodged all non gear 2nd Luffy attacks

Oda doesn't make the vivre cards. And neither were they ever intended to be taken serious.
Literally CREATING a pointless discussion for NO REASON!!!!! WTF?!
How's it a plothole? We see Blackbeard mention that Luffy's haki has grown from the last time he met. It makes perfect sense with Lucci having a basic haki. Cuz, we learn later down the line that haki blooms whenever you fight a strong enemy
Rob Lucci was obviously using Haki though.
This might makes sense if you look at it like CP9 and some of the straw hats had low levels of haki and through intense battles their level of haki grew.
Even if Lucci had haki, we all know Oda would've made it so Luffy would have found some way to survive a hole punched through his throat. All he'd need to do is eat some food and that hole would close right up.... what do you mean that's not how healing works?
Worked with his fight against crocodile
That shigan to luffy's neck could be explained by saying that lucci was honoring the deal they had with Robin

I think he wasn't aware of the concept of haki to fully master it. The way I see it, Lucci subconsciously used 10% of haki

I honestly have been hoping for years that iron body would be confirmed to be an early step in learning haki. I don’t think they’re implying they had it mastered it’s just that parts of the six powers work as steps to learning haki.
See your point but don’t think it’s so bad as long as it doesn’t imply they had any mastery of it
In my opinion luffy been using haki pre time skip without knowing he was using it that fight with lucci took pure will to win.
