Every time General Clarke has been on TV, he has been correct and ahead of the curve about what's happening on evey issue. We need people like him in positions of power. The rules-based system and democracy are under threat and you can kiss your freedoms goodbye if we don't take notice.

I have long agreed with General Clark (not that is important) why should we be concerned with Putin escalating? He should be concerned about us escalating. And has he says we have nucular weapons as well as they do and I am sure that Russia has been told if they use nucular weapons the response would be catastropic for them. Can’t let someone in if they’re in they’re currently fighting a war. It’s part of nato rules.
Any sovereign nation that they invite can legally protect them. If Russians forces then decide to attack the military of a 3rd nation in a territory they are not authorized to enter, and are actively invading, that is their decision. In making that decision the Kremlin can ponder what the consequences could be, and what escalation it might provoke. It’s brinkmanship, but it is obvious a weaker side is unlikely to start something that will lead to their own demise. And the nuclear option doesn’t change that, it only ensures mutual demise.

Putin sounds like Hitler and we cannot allow this. This is why America is so important to the world. We are the people that stand up to the bullies of the world. If we don’t do it there’s no one else that will do it the way we can do it that’s how important America is, that’s a lot of money but it’s well worth it. Hope Ukrainians are able to end the war sometime soon. They are good people and they deserve our help.
