Anthony " The Armored Knight" Yarde. When he fought Beterbiev, he couldn't have been more protected. Spitting out mouth guard, breaks, referee babysitting him, Not to forget waist guard to his nipples! Also judges had him ahead, Insane!!! All that help and still got hammered. Don't discredit Beterbiev, he was born with that power. His lifestyle as a devoted Muslim enables him to stay fit, discipline and strong.
Yarde fought beautifly, he had 100% good boxing match and still came up short against Arthur, that's how crazy Arthur beterbiev is
he got tired and slowed down just like all the others ... Bivol wont get tired and wont stop moving.

You can't box beautifully and have a nice gameplan you have to be a savage because Beterbiev is relentless. Imo Bivol can do it but he will have to be a more aggressive version as Beterbiev won't let him move in and out like he usually does without getting tagged

He's trying to make excuses for his losses. He's always making low-key excuses about them when he has to remind us in damn near every interview about only having 12 amateur fights.
Jason Sosa only had 3 amateur fights and he was fighting prime versions of Nicolas Walters and Lomachenko in like his 22nd and 25th fights If I remember correctly. He barely ever mentions that in interviews.
David Allen has 10 amateur fights but he doesn't feel the need to remind us of it every interview.
And Yarde is a massive hypocrite because he's a huge fan of numerous proven PED cheats like Roy Jones and he's also a huge Floyd fan, the same Floyd who recorded abnormally low testosterone-to-epitestosterone ratios before two fights, got caught using illegal IVs. whose ''surrogate daddy'' Done Hale owns over 20 TRT clinics, who numerous TMT fighters popped dirty, who refused to do VADA etc.

Doesnt have any sort of threat. And yes he has stamina, that's till he eats some brutal body shots and feels Beterbievs power. He will most likely outbox Artur for the first couple rounds, but he will eventually slow down, and that's when he'll go down

@@baselehab4491 Beterbiev's onslaught in the fourth round and at the end of the fifth and seventh rounds (when he battered Yarde inside) definitely softened Yarde and wore him down, so what happened in 8th could well be expected.
I think Yarde’s right , Bivol is really a super middleweight and just doesn’t have light heavyweight power and that will be the deciding factor.
I think Bivol’s footwork and ability to dart in and out all night will trouble Beterbiev. Artur will probably never set his feet planted to throw his hard shots. Bivol’s momentum when darting in will be enough to bother Artur. I got Bivol by decision.
Bivol is a class above Yarde & Smith, beautiful boxer/fighter - schooled Canelo & you saw what the Mex did to Smith. 50/50 fight for me.

i heard beterbiev once say in an interview that its all about the opponent. so if an opponent has a belt then he approaches the fight differently and you saw what happened with joe smith. Generally i think non belt fights are a sort of sparring session for him, although the callum smith fight was a boxing masterclass where he almost took him out in 4 rounds
The two fights were very different - Yarde was really in the fight with Artur till the very end; Smith wasn't.

@rafiqwashington9126 Sure but the previous rounds were much more of a contest. Two judges had Yarde ahead at the end. And Beterbiev was rocked by that left-hook, right combination in Round 5. Smith didn't come close.

I saw the Yarde Beterbiev fight. Artur was marked, but not bruised. Yarde did his best, but he got KOd and saved by the trainer. Why is it he cannot accept his ranking? Why does he waste time speculating about HGH levels and make ageist comment about Artur?
Callum smith accepted a small ring! He fought an inside fighter by fighting on the inside, yet he was taller and had more reach than beterbiev.
The way Kovalev recovered, after Yarde almost got him out of there, was very strange.

@@mumu9690 i agree with you on the ability & discipline part. he's a physical specimen and mentally unshakable with evry strong resolve. he could've made it into any special forces team in the world.
so very disciplined and dedicated to his craft and is not about money. he knows he could make millions just fighting bums but he wants legacy.

Personally I think Bivol just fights to the level of his opposition, also he's not an abusive fighter. What i mean by that is against Lyndon Arthur he just beat him up just enough to win. There were spots where he could've clearly gotten the KO and areas where Arthur was open for serious head shot but Bivol held back, almost as though he didn't feel he had to. He knew he was easily winning the fight and didn’t seem to want to seriously hurt his opponent any more than he had to. This is something I have noticed about Bivol. I don't think he lacks power he just chooses a comfortable pace to fight at and stick to it, turning it up only in the spots he has to.
Against Bertabeiv however, I believe Bivol would show more than we've seen of him. He'd have to be more aggressive and dip into more of bag (which he can indeed do)
Bertabeiv is almost 40 and even though he's still dangerous Bivol may the the fresher fighter
Beterbiev has the experience of two unification fights, while Bivol has none yet. Beterbiev repeatedly says in his interviews that unification bouts are very special and in the fight for the undisputed he will have to elevate his game to unprecedented levels even for him.

Beterbiev is not a slugger or relying on KO power, he has high level offensive and defensive skills, variety and tactics. Bivol is elite and efficient at what he does but Beterbiev does many things and adapts in a way that Bivol does not.

@@sunsaengnim6880 Bivol is more forward back linear in his movement, Beterbiev uses a lot of lateral movement and angled attacks, as well as closing distance, he quickly resets his feet as soon as off balance, he steps in and out of distance quickly, he walks in with a guard and combos. Beterbiev cuts the distance and the ring. He will be willing to walk in with combos, his own solid jab, or with his guard or move around Bivol's jab, he has at least 4 ways to get around or through Bivol's lead hand.
Mayweather style is so much different from Bivol you can't compare the two. Mayweather is slick and he uses the whole ring. Bivol goes back in straight lines and isn't a good side to side mover. Floyd can fight on the inside and oustide. Bivol can only fight on the outsude and is not a good inside fighter
