@@aaronsmo7082 so what is the analogy to breaking your hand whilst punching at the brick wall in boxing? Some shots are meant to set the opponent up and score points, others for dealing damage, you don't aim to punch through the opponent with every punch, you wanna do that with power shots but it is not the key to every punch there is also tactical boxing to control the action, what he describes is more like the key to score a knockout. And when you punch AT your opponent your hand doesn't break either that analogy is stinky this is guy is just making wild comparisons to create the illusion of deep expertise knowledge.

Atif MIr Shawn Porter also beat Usyk in the amateurs.
Clash of the Titans both extremely talented
Uysk would batter him easily now.
I know for a fact that they would both make Andre Ward look silly and beat anybody in LW and Cruiser.
Russian's and definitely Ukrainians are usually avoided like the plague by big name U.S. boxers. Its been happening for years, theyre dont match up with them bc they arent "big" draws and are too dangerous. Not a lot of reward for that risk, especially with the Mayweather era of making sure you keep that 0 on your record more than anything. Ukranians def are the superior boxers and this is coming from a guy who lives in the U.S. and loves all styles...The eastern Europeans boxers are just better, simple.
Beterbiev is such a savage puncher. 100% KO ratio as a pro, and right here he just rocked a bigass pro Cruiserweight who recently moved up to HW with a single punch. It's a shame he turned pro so late. Beterbiev needs to put some signature fights under his belt asap. Fight Bivol, Kovalev. If Canelo Alvarez beats Kovalev, fight Alvarez, although I think Canelo will not risk that fight.
Kovalev is well past his best now and it still took until the 11th when he was drained for Canelo to catch him.

@@kevfreeman5482 I agree Beterbiev would beat Canelo up. This is something special the heavyweight champion and the light heavyweight champion of the world fighting as amateurs isn't that something!!
You can see a lot of the things here that they both still do, but now they do it better. They've both also added to their repertoire since this fight. You can see how much power Beterbiev has. Usyk never looks like he hits very hard or even puts much effort into his shots but clearly they do enough damage to keep his opponents respectful and allow him to use his clever footwork and great high guard.
Lance Biggums
Usyk has skill power. He moves a lot so it looks as though he doesn't punch hard. When he sits down on his punches he does hurt his opponents which he did against Bellew and Huck both of whom he KO'd. Also, when he sat down with his punches against AJ he nearly KO'd him. A lot of his other opponents he has beaten up and left them bloodied which proves that he does punch pretty hard.
This is a great example of power vs skill. But what is really strange about this is that the smaller guy is the one with the power.
I genuinely have no idea how he punches so hard. But it seems to me he uses a similar punch technique like GGG. Smooth, stiff punches which look deceptive.
@@SaintNik924 he also does a very specific training for his hands, underarms and wrists to withstand the power when punching. Really cool style.

how did beterbiev manage to drop from 91kg cruser to 79 kg light heavy while getting older.usually its the other way round
they do not have to do the weight in the same day in professional fight. So maybe he was at 89 kg there but the other category was to low for him to go. But when you have 30+ hours to hours to get back your weight it's easier.
91 was not his weight. He was lighter then. There were no spots in his own weight class. So he had to go heavier.
Probably cuts weight.
EPO, steroids, and/or another myriad of PE's that russian athletes are known to use
He has never been a heavy weight or even a cruzer. It's the amateur boxing politics. Artur had to substitute another Russian heavyweight that was fighting as a cruzer. Sorry if it's too complicated.
