The subtle flex of take your boat over to your boat to get something while you're patiently waiting for your boat to come in
Hahaha!
Yep. I loved it.
This is what life is about
more is more💪🏽😂
That's the life of a boat captain... haha
That knob you pull out is the choke. Generally you pull it out for the first start of the day and push it in once the boat is a bit warmed up or starts to sputter, then you push it in and don't need it for further starts that day. Love the new boat for fun. Thanks for the video, looking forward to more!
Permanent marker and a skilled hand does a great job. The markers used to label livestock tags is the longest lasting but most any permanent marker will work.
Mate I can’t wait for the bigger boat to arrive so pumped for the new adventures to come!
Gorgeous and speedy little thing. Thanks for keeping us in the loop. Love your vids mate.
Well done ROKKiT, another plan comes together. One thing I’ve learnt about you is if you can’t do it. No one can. Good luck on yr upcoming adventures, I’m sure they’ll be amazing, and extraordinary.
Great to see you back on the water!! Can’t wait to see what the big boat looks like and how it goes! See you next time!
I have one of these and Love It! Very stable super easy to board from front stows and folds easy. High quality components. Extremely rugged material! I use as a tender for my sailboat, adventure boat for river running swim and dive platform.
The gear change on the tiller arm is great I’m a big fan of that design
i know the boat is inflatable etc etc but im still in awe that a boat of that kinda size can fit and be sent in a box that size
Holly molly!!!😳 what a flash lookn bit of kit!! Nice replacement mate ! Hope the kids enjoy.
As always, love the vid Rod. Can't wait to see the next boat! Stay safe out there brother!
Great new addition even if it is temporary. To get your maximum speed you should go both directions. Do a 180° turn on the second run and then average the two runs 🤙🏼
Let’s go! I love your videos man! You just have fun all the time and are loving the dream. Well done!
Congratulations Rod. Nice boat mate
Your house looks great. The area you live in reminds me of Florida. Like the new boat too.
Lovely inflatable boat! Congrats! Looking forward to your next adventure and best regards from Sweden!
Super clean lettering application on a very pretty new boat!
Always get excited when I see you post a video. Thank you as always!
Hey rod with these motors you can get an extension screwed on and you can sit at the front and work the throttle forward and revers from up there, well worth it solo fishing to keep the nose down 🤟🏽
Those wheels are the bomb! So easy to install, no hardware whatsoever! Amazing!
Do you know what those wheels are called or where they are sold?
easy to steal as well !
Thanks Rod, great wee boat.
Beautiful boat and motor so happy for you and us as your subscribers. You're going to catch a lot of fish on it.
I’ve used cast vinyl with a heat gun to get letters to stick to inflatable boats. Takes much longer to apply than normal stickers but it doesn’t bludge the surface.
That looks perfect for me. I have been after something like a zapcat for ages. Just need to sell some bits and get my order in ready for next summer. I see they ship to the UK so fingers crossed I get everything sorted. What a weapon !
That's a nice boat! More fun adventures in the works :)
A nice looking boat! Congrats!✌️🍻
Pretty sure all the small Merc's below 30HP are Tohatsu's , which is not a bad thing at all . Congrats on the new ride.
All the japanese ones are afaik but the us made ones with the gears on the tiller are were all made by mercury and are different motors.
@@dylanwilliams3807they are still Tohatsu’s, just with Mercury’s controls
Getting close to 500,000 subscribers thanks for the great content over the years
Hey Rod. Love the content. Always look forward to your videos. When is the next video of the sailboat coming out? Looking forward to seeing the progress on the boat, and how are improving as a sailor.
I didn't really think about it but it is gonna be nice seeing this pop of colour when you go out to the islands for a bit, opposed to the usual neutral coloured boats you had.
Nice video! So good to see you wearing the kill switch leash. That saved my life when I was thrown out in the surf. Dealer made me promise to always use it as he had a customer killed when he was thrown out and the boat circled back and ran him down. A friend was thrown out of his sailboat dinghy. Boat circled back and ran him down. He survived but with severe injuries. Folks need to be made more aware of this. Inflatables have a trampoline effect when hitting a wave or wake.
This boat is perfect, I need this exact set up.
Those Merc's are great. I think you will love it
I needed this today, thank you.
glad to see your back is better .great vid....peace out
Nice for sure. Looks like you will have a bit of fun with that one.
I agree, kid totally got it!
I like this new boat but I miss the old one already! I am so happy for you Rod. I can't think of anyone more deserving my friend. XOXOX
Hell. Ya. Lovin the boat mate and the red is so attractive that you won't even need a rod, the fish will just come to you on their own!
Can't wait to see the new boat, but the 'Pocket Rocket' seems like a reliable in between. Look at you sporting that snazzy red color! Cheers mate! Always love your content, hope the sciatica continues to get better. I know the feeling all too well, it's miserable.
That would be perfect for me just to race out for a feed, I live around 4 minute walk to boat ramp. Save setting up the adventure Islander. Can't wait to see it with fish coming aboard.
Sure if the trim is adjusted out slightly it will keep the nose down. Had the 2000 model, Grey, that was on a 3m and it was fantastic even with 2 ppl on the boat. Just took a little adjusting to get it to run at the right angle, and got better speed too. Also the petrol usage was brilliant. 25l would last a week of freshwater fishing . Can't wait for your next upload.
Love the color, and the boat looks cool, but I hope your back heals up soon so you can really enjoy it.
I love your channel the solo island camping and fishing to bad I don’t have islands like you do can’t wait to see your new boat and what new adventurous content your will create
Waiting on my boat as well! Won't be anytime soon though sadly. Grats on the new boat and the incoming one.
Not boring mate your just getting prepared to send it to some islands can't wait!
Yea!!! Buddy the second hand merc looks sweet! Red looks too good. Im on lake erie and buddy i might need one. Thank you for always sharing the cool stuff
Awesome vid Rod!
It's insane how easy it was to put together!
Man that is a cool little rig there. Nice mercury as well!
super jelly...that kit is rad!
That thing looks like a lot of fun
I thought you were putting together an RC boat I was surprised when you pulled a full sized boat out of the box :)
Once I hit something submerged & the whole outboard motor did a summersault & landed in the boat (at full speed) ever since then I keep a shortish chain from the motor to the Transom! Usually they sink if you hit something!!
Sweet rig! Just as I was thinking a Permatrim would help you keep the bow down (especially at moderate speeds), you said the same thing. lol
All round great set up , the boat couldn't be simpler to put together, as for that lil Merc, what a score perfect for that hull, ran like a trooper, as for weight in the front time to give mum a break and take the lil man with, he can't learn if he's not with ya.
True, I’ll have to get the boys out more for sure👍
@@rokkitkit best thing you can do for sure, I'm in my mind sixties now ,my son 30, I don't want for fish at all, when he was 12 I got him a castnet, I don't pay for bait or prawns either. Last note, he as a child shared more of his problems with me in that tinny ,than he ever did at the kitchen table, keep Emm close..
Love the videos, keep it up!
Hello friend. Thank you for sharing this wonderful video with us. Big hugs and until next time.
Sick little rig! Only just started watching but that thing should fly
nice boat kit 🎣‼️
Love the new boat :)
So I believe you can adjust the tilt of the motor to help with the nose rising too much and not coming into plane. There are also "blades" you can attach to the motor. I know you’ll load her up and it’ll probably stop, but if you like to go for a run for an evening, you shouldn’t have to throw a lot of weight on it.
The thrusters caught my eye. Let's see that video!!!
For some reason YT stopped sending me notifications of new videos.I am glad I checked back to the channel.I had to go back 3 months worth of content to get up to date.
Aaah a fellow LR Disco tragic. That must be why I enjoy your Stabicraft videos so much!
When the new boat arrives, just boxed this one and send it to me😅😅... you're awesome bro.. keep it up!
Hi there, that is a very nice boat engine combo, I also have a 3.3 meters inflatable boat and I use it with a Suzuki 2 strokes 15 hp and it gives me max speed 38.5 K/H , I'm 110 kilos heavy, so yeah same!!! I also have a Nifty boat with a Mercury 2 strokes 5hp , those are nice as well for lakes, rivers or just not to rough ocean, is like kayak with engine, love them!, Anyway I love watching your videos Mate!!! I keep waiting for more videos coming, cheers
The Goldmember Pop-up made me laugh haha
The "in-between" boat looks absolutely awesome mate.
That’s a awesome boat.
I really want a set up like that for bouncing around here in the Florida Keys.
Cheers man. Can't wait to see what you have on order. Would love to see you in a Contender 28T or something similar.
Haha, I think the Contender might be a little more then I can swing😅 but what’s coming is pretty awesome too👍
Nice setup 👏🏻💯
Very capable little craft…although minimal space for gear sometimes it’s great to go with the basic gear and be simple…👍🏼
Awesome exciting video as always.. Saw some glitch (image distortion) in the 26th minute.. idk what and how that was☺☺ thank you and cheers
Man if your ever lost at sea the SAR bird will spot you easy! Lol cheers man sharp looking rig. Hope all is awesome
Beautiful stuff rod.....
Congratulations rod on the new boat. Can't wait for your future videos. You make some of the best fishing videos on CZcams.
Love the colour of that true kit discovery 👌🏻 was going to get one ages ago but couldn't warrant the cost of shipping to the UK 🇬🇧 abit gutted but I still might get one one day I have a hydrus lll 3.3m ibf sib from inflatable boat fishing 🎣 based in yhe UK 🇬🇧 but still thinking of purchasing a true kit discovery one day lol great video really love your videos fella 😎👍🏻🎣🌊🐟🏕🇬🇧
waterproof marker for the numbers 👉👍
Another cool video always enjoy the content never disappointed have a good day and stay safe Jimmy from North Attleboro Massachusetts
Neat little boat. That 15 should push that light boat to about 25mph. Fast enough. Sorry you are having back issues.
Nice little boat, been thinking about cat raised a little higher and 4mt and longer wheel mounts.
Try better weight distribution by moving the gas can and beer cooler under the seat and securing so they do
😂 not slid back and put a cheap plastic storage box with life vests and safety items plus rain gear and hand held VHF.
Congrats bro
Please put a sticker over the word 'true' on the boats floor with RoKKiT on it :)
New video!! AMAZING :-)
Wicked, Rod.
No way! I was anchored right where you where in Bum's Bay for a fortnight, then hid off Wavebreak for when that southerly came through. Spent the weekend up at Slipping Sands. Would have only just missed you. I'm on a 31ft sailboat called Duet if you see me around, currently slipping up at Coomera. Would be more than happy to take you for a few lessons.
Great videos! How many inch/ cm transom does the true kit have on it ?
I have the same boat same colour 9.9 2 stroke Tohatsu as a tender. We are in Mariners Cove Southport. Saw u go by the other day. I should have chased u and formed a convoy.🙂
Loving the new boat.
What's with the pop in picture at 02:47 of the guy in gold clapping his hands 🤣
Funny! I had the same motor on my truekit! I had my transom blow out bc it was to heavy and mixed with the rough seas on the windward side in Hawaii was a dangerous combo I figured. Had a great run with it though!
Was that the old wooden transom? Maybe had a water ingress issue.. I had an 18hp in the 4m version and that had the new aluminum transom plus all the bouncing on the trailer and it didn’t show any signs of blow out so should be fine with the lighter 15👍
@@rokkitkit yeah it was the wood transom! Had no idea they upgraded it!
The wheel design on that boat is awesome. I hated having to drill the holes myself through the transom.
Great video, I started watching your channel when you got the first discovery 330 as I was researching which inflatable to get and have watched ever since. I now have a discovery 330 here in the UK and love it. Looking forward to seeing what boat you're getting :) .
That engine sounds so nice
Bro, get a tiller extension and drive standing up! I did and it is better than a jet ski! Don't forget the lanyard!!
Bright shiny color, that boat. Fish will see ya coming a mile away. No stealth here. 😃
Haha, but it’s all black on the bottom 😊👍
@@rokkitkit you should paint a school of little bait fishes on the boat bottom. Nobody would notice but still wonder how the heck you seem to be attracting so many fish. Fish psychology, see. 😜
Nice boat😁
Does the cost work out when considering the life span of inflatables versus an aluminum or FRP hull?
Is the trim pin in the motor in the furthest out position? Looks like it might go better if theres any more adjustment left there.
