Filling Out and Signing Forms With Preview

You don't need fancy services like HelloSign or a printer/scanner combo to fill out forms. The only thing you need, the Mac OS already has: Preview. In this tutorial, I’ll show you how to complete PDF forms, including your signature, on a Mac.

I CAN'T MAKE IT ANY SMALLER THAN WHAT I ALREADY HAVE AND IT WONT FIT IN THE BOX. IT SEEMS LIKE I'VE REACHED THE SMALLEST TEXT AND IT WON'T FIT IN THE BOX. DOCUMENT IS A REGULAR SCANNED PDF FORM. HELP!!!

Omg what a chore!! Why can’t we just type onto the PDF? My other laptop (just got iMac air) I can easier open the PDF and type/fill in the form. All this hassle having to add a text box, match the font, match the size, move to exact location! Fucking hell I wish I knew this before buying the iMac!! As someone who needs to work with PDF a lot this is a chore & time consuming. Quicker for me to print it! Gutted!
Btw it was a very good informative video! I’m disappointed in my new iMac air.
Any other way to do it quick?

The signature will neither drag nor copy into the PDF doc.

The problem is the dragging of the text you type EVERY time! Other programs like PDF pen and PDF expert $$$ allow you to click anywhere and then add text to the place where your cursor is. For a small document Preview may work but for longer docs it gets old fast - ask me how I know!! No free lunch here.
