He's the exact opposite of the hero. You should have known he's the arch-villain way back when... You know why? Because of the commenters. They call him Mr. Glass.

When you guys hitting 1M subs?
Can I get an interview?
Is trevor ok in this episode he looks like he got into a fight and lost....badly plus he looks like a pube hair away from fighting everyone nearby
You should do a video on learning to be a fireman and actually put fires out :)
they hearted the comment, you know what that means
As a career fireman, I would love to see this
you really wanna reset that accident counter arent you?
I think we're probably more likely to see them somehow turn a fire extinguisher into a flamethrower.
@@LG-rq5by knowing Jason that most likely will happen 😂
When they get to the coupe glass (starting around 8:00-8:22) the expressions that wash over Trevor's face as they ramble, rant and riff are priceless!
8:10 Look at the amount of disgust in Trever's face after Brian says "milk"
Milk in the middle of hard drinking curdles in you like that joke did.
I remember one bar that kept pint cartons of buttermilk in the walk-in. They made a variety of "Flips". I had a New York Flip.
is it me or does Trevor look like he is about to kill them both??
It's not just you
He looks like he wants to brain them with the tiki mug
It's not just you. He looked done with the Collins glass bit.
He looked like someone kicked his ass. Looks beat up. Too bad, I like Trevor.
@@letsgobrandon8271 he's just a lot hungover
*himself
Jesus, is Trever alright? He got this thousand yard stare thing going on in this episode.
He honestly looks really hungover
Or they made all these episodes in one take and they have probably been there a while
He's never been the same since Viet Nam
Fact: He Really likes drinking
Hangover.
Extremely tired of Brian and Jason’s dumb jokes. Especially during the Collins glass.
I love the subtle zooming in on Trevor during the Cosmopolitan bit.
I used to love that Stephen Hawking topic intro. Bring that back.
Yup
Dresspants Robot Man.
The Modern Rogue brings back text to speech
**Sad robot noises**
brian's jokes in this are just too funny😂😂 plus the speed at which he thinks of those jokes is impressive.😂
A coup full of milk?
they were scripted, the fake laughs are so obvious.
@@thatguymitch if you think they're that scripted you haven't been here for long
@@PersonOfRandomnesss tell me that G.I. joke wasnt scripted and listen to the reaction and laughs, that was fake.
@@thatguymitch They don't script *that* much.
Of course, the sponsorships are 100% scripted, but they improv. quite a lot.
So is someone going to dress up in that suit of armor and start walking around hitting people with a rubber chicken a la Monty Python each episode now? :-)
Jesus Christ I'm not done with the video yet but that GI tract joke was next level
I had to Google it I'm not a real innards guy still funny though
Stemless martini glasses are the best! Would highly recommend. Rather than a stem, it has a little nub area at the bottom which gives all the benefits of a stem without it being top-heavy and easy to tip.
I love Trever's expression, as if to say "Savages, all of you." XD
Is Trevor ok? He looks like he hasn't slept for days and was punched in the face too.
Yeah, he's got that thousand yard stare like he's seen some shit and trying to keep it together.
Honestly, I get it though. They filmed this after 'Nam and he'll never be the same.
10:07 should answer your question
what about steins? campaign flutes? big gulps? skulls of your enemies?! cmon Trevor, yer cutting out the goods glasses
One of those things is not like the other. Jesus man, champagne flutes? Eeeeew. I would much prefer the head of my deceased and beheaded enemies in my open palm, it's just that they always need a bunch of food-safe silicone to seal off those damn eye holes and jaw holes.
No hate on big gulps though, those are always great for vodka.
That GI tract joke was fantastic! GG Mr. Brushwood
Nobody:
Brian: GI TRACT
Also, I always thought it was called a Moscow Mule because the vodka kicks like a mule.
I thought it was called a Moscow Mule, because you had to be commie bastard to order one.
I don’t have the knowledge necessary to get the joke, can you explain?
@@viniciobrancato4900 G.I. tract is short for gastro-intestinal tract, as in your stomach, bowels etc.
Tunkkis thank you. This is why I came into the comments.
@@Aquila009 You are welcome! Glad to be helpful!
13:02 "they don't carry it in this bar for a reason' - the wise words of someone who have been told off multiple times and also has a problem
8:12 I absolutely love the pause on Jason's face when it took him a second to understand the joke and him actually thinking it was a geniuine suggestion
Half expected Trevor to pull out a solo cup instead of a shot glass
You have to feel for Trevor here (his expression at 8:13 like he’s dealing with that one child you get in every classroom)
"Does the glass matter?"
*Mead mug glances around nervously*
Oh, Brian, that wacky Brian...
Your 'GI Tract' joke just split my guts.
6:43 yiu can hear Brian's relief in his voice when this worked with the glass rather than a beer can ahahhaa
4:38 stay on tract, it's a colon.
I still think a billiards basics/cool tricks video is needed.
That "G.I. Tract" joke is the dad joke of the year.
Somehow you guys need to make a video game called "Cause I'm a modern Rogue" and it goes through what you guys have done and has some badass skilltree
God why is it that every time you guys do a video in the Jazz Club I laugh uncontrollably? Keep up the good work!
There's honestly never a bad episode with Trever always finish the video laughing and ready for a drink.
i like how the dude panned over to the taps in the beginning, i dont know if it was intentional but i was immediately wondering if brians dont touch sign was still on there haha
Screw thermal lag. The best lag is the pause between Brian’s GI Tract and them breaking down laughing.
I actually have an antique snifter holder that suspends the glass above a votive candle to heat it, holding the bulb over the flame and the stem well away so it stays cool for your hand.
8:14 😂😂😂 that wheezy prospector laugh!
Can we have a video filled with Brians dad jokes? ......PLEASE
Can we talk about how Trever is wearing a Cruel Intentions t-shirt?
8:12 Trever's face was my exact reaction. 😂😂
I’m stressed as fuck but these videos always brighten my day. Thank y’all.
It's because of this series of videos that I know what drinks I like. From building the home bar to trying the showcased cocktails, I have become a true rogue in the drinking scene. Plus, I sound super classy when I order an Aviation. It's almost like I'm hacking some system or something...
I like to bring some class to my alcoholic benders thanks.
4:35 the lack of emotion about improv acting says it all
Great video guys! More of these!!
Video: *shows a variety of glassware of which to drink beverages*
Me: *drinks anything in a mug*
something you never admit in front of your friends : " I have some high balls.."
I never knew so much of this. This is amazing. Thank you
This was about 4 months before my life was turned upside down and it brings back so much nostalgia for me.
The wit is quick with this one
Oh boy, it's time for the Donkey to come back
Glassware can also be used to prime a drinker on flavor. E.G Stuff served in a martini or coupe tend to be primed as a more classy drink and other primes a delicate, more balanced or sophisticated taste, where a tiki glass will prime more tropical, pineapple and punchy flavors
In Sweden, we actually have different words for a "one and one" drink and a drink with multiple ingredients. The first is called a "grogg", while the latter is called a "drink".
The more you know!
6:06 looking at it and saying it's and end of the evening drink like he knows all too well and maybe it's already the end of the evening and it's time to end the video 😂
Best part of the whole video
Brian: Where is the Rumpleminz?
Trevor: They don't carry it at this bar, for a reason.
No night of drinking, involving rumpleminz, has ever ended with "I got home and went to bed". Unless preceded by: "once we left the hospital", "after I got bailed out", or "after I accidentally bought a peacock, a pig, and a giant salamander" (it's happened... )
The urban legend I've always heard about the martini glass was that it rose to popularity during prohibition because they made it super easy to dispose of your drink when you got raided by the feds.
The heating brandy trick is awesome!
This is what happens when Brian keeps hanging out with Diamond Jim Tyler, he starts picking up those next level dad jokes
This episode has been the best laugh I've had in a while great work.
>martini
>shot of vodka
something's not right here
I was searching for a comment like this ngl
The Cocktail 'Martini' is made with either Gin or Vodka, and Vermouth. So an extra dry Vodka Martini which means no Vermouth at all, is a shot of Vodka, shaken and strained in a Martini glass. Sorry
@@XsjadosRoom sorry but that would be "vodka martini" which isn't really a martini at all.
A proper martini is made out of gin and vermouth and extra dry one would be just chilled shot of gin
czcams.com/video/hdiBG_TYZHA/video.html
Trevor looks so ashamed of Brian and Jason at 4:34 and 8:16 is definitely questioning his life choices and can they really be that uninformed
I can’t believe how much random stuff I learn from this show
Time stamp for G.I. Tract joke 2:29. Play it on a slower playback speed. Have fun!
my favorite part is the delayed reaction. There's something about a joke that takes a beat or two to get that just seems to make it funnier
Wow. I’ve been looking/waiting for a video like this. I always wanted to know why certain glasses are made the way they are. Great jobs guys. (Fist bump)
That camera view at 9:24 the actors staring at the empty glass Trevor is holding... Perfect 👌
Not only do different shapes of glasses for different types of alcoholic beverage (beer, whisky, cocktail) but for wine different types of grapes are better served in specific stemware. This is why Reidel makes different glasses for Pinot Noir, oaked Chardonnay, Riesling etc. I’ve tested disbelievers on many occasions and they’ve all become convinced.
I don't remember if I said this before, but has anyone told you guys you sound like seagulls when you laugh? It's totally contagious!
Guys I appreciate your work! I just love every single episode!
Jason’s realization when Brian says milk is my favourite thing
8:10 Brian's laugh is what you would expect to come out of a kooky old man who lives in Arkansas and sells moonshine behind a KFC at the staff door.
Lauren Hawes bahahaah! :)
I left the spin me right round music video for this. I am content.
4:33 i can hear the white noise in trevers head
So Basically Trevor has that Shot Glass for "Cow Testicles and Maggots".
Disappointed he didn’t talk about my favorite glass, the growler.
They tried naming the Collins (however tf you spell it) glass, I was really expecting Trevor to take it and bust their heads 😂
"Lets talk about diffent shapes of things"-Brian Brushwood
Took me a moment to get the "GI Tract" joke
Love the vids. Are they in the bar again. Man I thought they would have had the bouncer on them.#BRINGBACKTHECHOOCH
Haunted tiki mug!
I want ones off those!
(Despite not being able to drink alcohol!)
Maybe i can put juice in it or a smoothie
I quite like smoothies in a Chewbacca tiki mug
Another FUUUUN fact about the brandy snifter, is if you lie the glass sideways and fill it. Once the liquid comes to the lip of the glass. That's the correct amount.
Which I why I drink brandy out of a fishbowl with a handle crudely stuck on with epoxy.
I know it's kinda niche, but sad they didn't have an absinthe glass. They're super interesting to look at and once you know why it's shaped like that it makes complete sense
(There's a second bulb that is the measure you should add the absinthe into before filling with ice water)
it always amazes me how much effort, intellegence, and complexity that humans have put into alchol and the cups we drink in them.
why don't human's do that for more things?
To be fair, a common theory about why you touch your glass to another's is because the Romans were paranoid about being poisoned so they would fairly forcefully tap each others' glasses so that if any one drink was poisoned, so would all the others. Just thought I'd say that after hearing your conversation about drinks spilling into another's glass when toasting at 8:40
Kyle King Fascinating! I had no idea.
Trevor "Quick Delivery" Fehrenbach
Trever
Great work as usual guys learned alot
Is there any way we can suggest a cocktail? I have one I want him to try as I made it and I wanna see if he can add anything to it or make it better
Can’t you just have Trevor in every episode? Any video with the three of you together is always good.
3:08 look at Brian
That is wonderful
I would love an episode on mocktails
I got lag on my video as Trevor said "thermal lag" and I thought it was a clever edit until I went back and rewatched it.
so we didnt bring up how the champagne flute keeps the lowest point in the direct center so that the rate of decarbonation is slowed to one single stream of bubbles. thats like the coolest one outside the sniffer
You guys should do an episode where you guys mess with Molotov cocktails
A Rogue's favorite cocktail.
Sam Ferguson indeed
the knight came to my home and just.. stood there... menacingly.
Been watching you guys since middle school and now graduated college...Sometimes Brian is more of a child then me and he's a parent lol
How'd it take you 2 years to graduate highschool and college..m
@@lich.possum I'll let you think about my statement again lol, "I've been watching since Middle School". I know them from Scam School (now Scam Nation) and Revision 3...This channel is newer compared to those. Scam nation started back in 2009.
I just wanted to point out, you said Brian is more of a child than you even though he has children of his own, just because you have kids doesn't mean you aren't a big kid yourself. Watching Brian with his daughter is hilarious, even she is ashamed by his childish antics at times! Never grow up, you'll be sorry!
LOL The rumps!!
I love Trevor's on camera personality
I'm confused, the collin glass is more of a highball glass(perhaps with a bit more sollid bottom) meanwhile what they called the highball glass is more of a lowball glass. At least what I've seen in cocktail books, google and general knowledge of working in a bar.
The G.I. tract, . . . oh man, I gota try and meet you guys next time I'm in Austin :D :D :D
Nice one, but what about a Jug? Sterling Archer showed us that it´s verf handy for an alkoholic.
Just from the title, I thought we were going to talk about eyeglasses and spy glasses. Like those sunglasses that look behind you with hidden mirrors.
That shot glass is HUGE
The guy on the left must bartend at Chuck E Cheese
