Delivery Day Video and first look at my Model Y: czcams.com/video/ssJF8ch8cFo/video.html
I got the .99 and picked up my brand new model y performance. ABSOLUTELY INSANE CAR!!!
Congrats...
Lucky. Mine needs to be built
Yes i got approved and im picking up Saturday...I went ahead and got the performance model...but I'm excited thank you for this video
I just ordered one. I didn't know they downgraded the speaker system for the long range RWD... That's a bummer!!!
Thank you for the insight. I also placed an order and was hoping to leverage the promotion and put in $0 down. Hopefully I get approved. I’ve opted to wait till June and save the $3k with the RWD option
Loved the video! Just pulled the trigger on a model Y with that .99 interest and I pick it up in a few days! Congrats on yours man!
Right on! Congratulations 👏🏾🎉
How is the car so far? It's been a few days since you picked it up.
@@smartphoneconversations fantastic! Very impressed with Tesla, the only complaint I have so far is I didn’t get the model Y sooner!
Thank you so so much for awesome video!
Question, do you know what credit bureaus are they using to pull your credit? The reason I ask because my credit is frozen but all three bureaus. Thx
Does it matter what state? For the zero down? My score is 815. Income is great. Curious to know if the state matters?
Its almost my time to get my tesla! Im going with the 3 refreshed pretty soon. That model y 0.99 almost got me a few days ago, but I just want a 3!🙌🏾💯
I got my .99 last Sunday. It took me less than 2 hrs and took the car home.
do you mind sharing what was your credit score ?
@@AshouriAmer I have 780
How much was your monthly payment just curious I’m looking in to buying model y.
@@ssplash_man1475 $672 I got blue myp
Congrats!! What’s your insurance?
This deal has me a chock hold lol Such a good rate!
Thank you sir! I didn’t realize you can do zero down it worked!
Glad I could help!
When I change to 0 on the financing page it says minimum down payment is 4800. So even at 0 it says 4800 due at signing.
84onthbloan so changes to 2.99 rate. 72 is max at .99
@@RobertSchmitt same. 4250$ is minimum down payment for Y LR AWD. NY state. score 760🤷🏼♂️
I'm on the fence. The prices were much lower at the end of last quarter and I think they will lower again.
Yeah I'm one with a way above credit score. When things don't get approved right away I get upset even with credit card transactions. It got to a point where I requested text approval on all my cards.
Got the .99 rate within about 5 minutes of application submission. Did the exact same thing as you and flipped to the AWD Long Range Model Y, super excited to pick it up tomorrow!
Congrats...
How did the pickup go? I've been loving mine..
The most straight forward process I’ve ever experienced as respects to buying a car. My wife and I are completely smitten with the Model Y and already have done a round trip from SD to LA! Thanks for following-up, also great tips on accessories
I would take a 100 month loan with no interest since it isn't your money on the loan. In this case even at 0.99%, I don't mind 72 months although I have never taken a loan that long. Yeah, I do drive out cars 10+ years.
Great video ! Thank you !
Appreciate the explanation. You may have once again saved me (or cost me) money. I may have to go to Texas to see ( as long as I only have to pay Louisiana sales tax). Peace
Ps I like your choice of model and color.
Yes sir! Thank you
Hypothetically,Is it possible for apr rate to be lowered to .99 after approval if not accepted at that apr rate if credit score improves after a credit dispute from it being wrongly affected?
I’m very tempted to pull the trigger. Model Y has been the one I’ve been looking at getting for years now. My credit just took a hit though and is hovering around 700 now which is why I’m cautious to even try. I’ve seen on Reddit a lot of people who had credit scores around 650 and 660 get approved for the 0.99% so it gives me hope but I don’t want to throw $250 away.
$250 wasted is much less than the $600 you would be paying for 6 years straight
What did you end up doing?
How does the EV credit work? If approved, does it get applied to the loan and thus the payment gets lowered? Or is it just applied directly and not impacting the payment?
apply directly.
Its a great rate for sure... only thing that keeps me from pulling the trigger is worrying about depreciation when refresh arrives. Course its subject to be a lot higher price as well. I thought about leasing a refresh model 3 just to buy time to let refresh model Y come out
Software is the most important thing, and it should not matter if you are buying it to keep it.
Trading in our 2021 M3 SR+ for the MY LR Tuesday! 🤙🏼
I just got my order in for 1.99% 72 months.
.99 is for 60 months now ONLY.
Missed it by 3 days BUT still a killer deal.
Went to toyota to look at a RAV4 and that was selling for 36k+ at 7.99% interest.
Not even close.
Happy my coworkers convinced me to pick up the tesla deal. Also came with a $7500 automatic rebate.
End of June is my delivery date. Same original specs you wanted.
I was this close ordering Model Y, but when I looked at latest Tesla 3 and heard rumors about 2025 refreshed model Y , likely will implement Tesla 3 upgrades in 2025 Y.I pulled back , I get it 1 percent is the best deal but this will come back again next or may be following year so it’s worth the wait …
I’m in the same boat!!! The upgrades in the 3 are amazing, anyone have any idea when the y will be released with refresh?
@@ITME.1 Tesla should do it by end of Q2 next year agin these are just rumors
Mr J! Are we going to get a delivery video from you today? I understand if you wanted to keep that experience private. Just really enjoy these videos from you, sir.
Tomorrow! I’ll try to get one done for you all, if I can. 👍🏾🙌🏽💯
Hi, i got my order confirmation, but I am not seeing any information regarding payment ev credit info and what not. Isn’t that supposed to be available as soon as the order is confirmed?
If you bought the Model Y RWD, it's backordered as I stated in the video. But yes it should, but it could take a few or longer to update. Close the app, and go back in. Force close it, then go back in.
Congrats on the deal. Looking at doing one as well. Just subscribed. Great videos
How long does financing last?
Bought my wife’s on Saturday. Sold her 2022 Rav 4 for $7,100 profit to Toyota and used part of that on her deposit pocketed the rest. Taking delivery tomorrow.
Subbed!
Great Video! My Tesla Model Y loan was through TD Bank, not FiConnect. Maybe because I did a down payment?
Thanks for this video! Very informative. Quick question - by the lender paying for the taxes does that mean you had zero drive off costs?
That is correct, I show it in this video.
Thanks! Does this also apply to the leasing process?
I want a model y but I’m still upside down with my current vehicle.
Got approved for 1.99% with Santander consumer USA. Perfect credit score and income. Will contact that bank and Tesla on Monday. Thanks for your video !!
Sunday afternoon, Tesla financial advisor reached out to me and opened a case to review my loan. They were able to change my rate to 0.99% with a diffident lender. So happy! Again, Thanks for your awesome video !!
@@kynhan9863 That is AWESOME! Welcome to the 0.99% Club...
you got me FOMOing. Already have a model 3 LR 2018, but i also have a 2012 camry hybrid which i love too....but thinking of getting the Modey Y!
Congrats! I watched the entire video and toward the end you said you were going to reveal your monthly payment just wondering what it is?
Goto about 8:00 I put it up on the screen, I guess you missed it.
@@smartphoneconversations thanks much, just listening to your video you and I are a lot of like when it comes to buying cars.
Dang Tesla removed the premium audio from LR RWD. That was a surprise.
Awesome breakdown! New Jersey also offers about $4000 in tax credits on all EVs so I’m highly considering getting a Tesla soon.
Right on! Go for it!
Where are you seeing the tax credit? I live in NJ and haven't seen that. I know there's no sales tax on EVs but I thought they ran out of the charge up ev incentives. And model y only qualifies for 1.5k
The NJ program is not available atm since it ran out of funding last year. For NJ, EVs under $45k qualify for $4k off and EVs between $45k and $55k qualify for $1.5k off when program is funded and open. It will most prob start again sometime in July 2024 but at the same time, NJ is raising EV registration fee to $250-$290 per year starting July. This means that even if you get $1.5k off for a MY LR AWD or Perf in July, you'll be paying $1100 in EV registration fee (NJ requires you pay 4 year registration up front) so in reality, you'd only be getting $800 off unless you get MY LR RWD. Not sure how Tesla is gonna treat the 0.99% financing after it ends on May 31 though so it all depends. Also no idea if NJ program goes by order date or delivery/purchase date to get the state POS rebate.
Can you apply the $7500 ev credit toward down payment?
It's not a down payment, it's having the option to defer, or use at the point of sale. And YES, you can...that is what I did. You have to qualify though, so make sure you.
At what point can I select the ev tax credit as a down payment... is it online or on delivery day?
@@Sononthethrone1 following
Would you recommend leasing with this current promotion of .99 APR?
Noooooo, buy it.
Are you keeping the Model 3?
Yes
Imagine if you picked one of these up yesterday lol
I have a high credit score according to credit carma and Experian. Is that what use? Cause i believe the dealership use something different.
Yeah, that one is not the same. But it should be close. Example, mine showed 799 on credit karma, but it was 816 when the dealer pulled it on my other car I bought. I didn’t get a score with this Tesla purchase in though.
You should make a video about getting credit score that high 😢@smartphoneconversations
they have a auto credit score its base of you auto load history. for example my Karma score is 765 however my auto score is 799.
I got model y AWD long range 2 months ago for 44k-7500...after trade in 400 month...paying 1k month, it will be paid off in 2 years
What’s your out of the door price ( not including trade in)? Thanks
@@kimnguyen-jb2zf with all the fees? tax and destination fee?
Yes
So what's the rough monthly payments on the .99%?
Payment is at screen time @8:12, showing close to 700$ .
Down payment 8% $4250 for 72 months $578/mo. After tax refund.
$680 with $0 down.
I put a lot of miles on for work and owe more than my car is worth. Not ideal I know. With the trade it’d still cost less than the MYP without the tax credit but Tesla won’t do it from what I understand. Not trying to borrow more than the sticker price. Doesn’t make sense as if I didn’t qualify for the tax credit they’d lend that amount to me. Ford will do this and the Mach e Gtp is close to 20k off the original sticker. @ 0%. Want to go Tesla but this is holding me back
when financing do you pay for the tax upfront?
Nope, they stopped that 4 months ago. Tesla takes care of it, so you can not finance the taxes in your payment.
so i wouldn’t pay any of the destination fees/ documentation fees? all factored into the payment?
@@gurbbb correct all factor unto the payment just ordered mine couple days ago
Today I noticed the 72 month promotional rate is 1.99%. Sucks because I ordered when the 72-month rate was still 0.99% so guess I'm paying double the interest because I don't want to cancel the order over an extra percent APR
Pinned this already about the rate. I’d keep it too if I were you.
I missed the 0.99% for 72 months, so went with the 60 months at 0.99%. My credit score is 790 and got approved in like 1 minute. Kinda wish i got it at 72 months, for monthly payment, but still happy i will pay about 1,200 in interest over the life of the loan instead of 8,500
Hey - I have a performance Y locked in and ready to go @.99 BUT- the insurance on it I came to find out is INsANELy high - talking 300 a month to add this car. (50 yo driver, no accidents, etc and live in a good area)…. So I’m honestly looking to back out of the purchase now. Thoughts??? I called a few diff places they all say Tesla insurance is crazy high???
WOW, where are you located? That plays a MAJOR part with insurance. You are paying 3X what I am paying for my Model Y, that is insane as you stated. Also, I'm sure you know it...but we also have an insurance score too, and driving score when shopping. You also have the option to do Tesla insurance. Did you actually TRY to look at Tesla insurance? Just do it in the app, and it will tell you right away. You don't have to take it obviously, I didn't. It was double what I was offered with my insurance company.
insane my insurance actually came out $15 cheaper than my current BMW and that’s for the performance Model Y.
In a very affluent area in north Texas (Dallas) - the Tesla insurance was $284 a month, but I don’t want them spying on my driving - creepy!
Doing in colorado with fed, state, and xcel energy rebates.
I got the 0.99 but all the my Model Y's red with white interior were gone so I'm waiting.
Anybody know which credit bureau(s) they pull?
All three
they pulled experian for me
@@SieteSays only Experian? Hmmm. I didn't wanna unfreeze all 3 if it can be avoided.
Through the app, it made me apply for the loan through Allied Credit Union. I got approved at 6.74%, but Tesla said they they would "fix that" and apply the 0.99% if I qualified. And I would know within an hour after finishing the application, but I cant finish the application completely because it needs the VIN of my vehicle. Since I ordered and didnt do inventory, I dont have a VIN yet. Im hoping I can still get the 0.99% 72mo since in tge meantine they have switched it to only 60mo financing. This just seems weird and Ive had very little communication from Tesla. Like 1 text reply per day.
Does this seem right? I have over 800 credit and good income to debt.
It can't make you apply for it, you might have missed changing it to the promotion rate. You have to do that before you apply. Either way, glad they are working with you. Congratulations
@smartphoneconversations What I mean is they didnt have any other financing option other than "Telsa Lease", "Alliant Loan", or "Self-Arranged financing" They told me I had to go through the Alliant Loan and even if itbapproves me for a higher rate, they would fix it. I'm just scared because it doesn't seem like this is how others did it, but it's what I was told by the lady at Tesla.
I just hope I'm not doing it wrong, or miss the window, but they just don't reply very quickly.
Yeah, that's very strange. Are you leasing? Even so, I think they gave you the rate you qualified for. I've never seen them change it after the fact, but hey. You'll be the first I know of. The 0.99% doesn't end until May 31st though, hope you can get it too.
@smartphoneconversations Lady I've been working at through Tesla apparently has no idea what she is talking about. I started from the beginning in the app, and it finally let me actually pick "Tesla Loan" was approved in 5 minutes for 0.99% at 72mo! I knew something seemed fishy with the other process. Even though she said it was right. Jeez. I could have missed out or paid WAY more money if I had kept going. Now I'm excited!!
Kinda screwed we bought the Model Y long range 7-seater for last year 65k…at 3.57% and then they dropped this 😢😢😢 we owe $50k and trade in is estimated 31k
My amount due is -2225 . I am not sure why it has a negative number. I do have a trade in though. I contacted them and they said that they may be making sure my trade in value stays the same. idk. but weird.
That means you have a credit coming back to you, they should be cutting you a check. Did you qualify for the 0.99% too?
@@smartphoneconversations Yes I got the .99% too. Thanks for the response.
Nice congratulations 👏🏾🎉
You should get a check for the car you're trading in. Forget if this is configurable or not but they take away your down payment from that check so if your trade-in value was $8k and you're putting down $4k, it'll show -$4k for "Amount Due" (Tesla is giving you a check for $4k). Then the rest of your car purchase is financed through that 0.99% loan which you'll be paying monthly payments for.
Referral ended 4/30/2024. petty lol !
When I bought mine, it made me put down a bit over $5k! I changed it to zero and it said the minimum is the 5k they made me do!
Might be your credit...or your location? I'm not sure, but might be credit. Did you get approved for the 0.99%? I didn't put down anything as you can see in this video from my paperwork.
@@smartphoneconversations - it could be other factors like his income or missed payment history specifically to car loans or a myriad of things as well.
Agreed 💯 @@baileym4708
0.99% yaaa baby. New silver color awd long range
it’s location based, certain States allow $0 down. I’m Florida and have to pay at least the taxes.
I’m at the Tesla dealer and they are ADAMANTLY claiming I NEED to do a down payment. And that there’s NO ways around it. And saying it’s a glitch
Can you help me understand this.. and maybe help me understand to explain it to them
Also, you didn’t share your verification that you’re only paying zero down and what your actual paper work looking like … (without sharing personal details)
😂 Man, I clearly put my paperwork in this video, goto about the 8 minute mark. I can't help you anymore than that, along with SEVERAL others that did no money down. Maybe it's your credit or location.
Part of the game: What was the car price prior to the promo ? Is the price higher now to cover for the 0.99% ?
Where are you getting $489 Financing. You all need to click on customize. Once you do and you add your zipcode for me it's Chicago. Once you click on add taxes and fees this monthly price increases to $800+ including the 7500 and the 0.99 .
What am I doing wrong here?
Those that got this amazing rate, what was your credit scores like?
Most people I see have a score of 750 or above, but there was ONE person that said their score was 660 and they got it. I was shocked, as it says you need 720 or higher. But it's more than credit scores, it's DTI, income, credit history and more.
@@smartphoneconversations wow that’s amazing.

It looks like from what i can figure is they are making you pay the fees and taxes as the downpayment how can i have these just added to the overall cost
And the .99 rate no longer allows 72 months its only .99 percent at 60 months
Strange
Couple of things. The rate changed after this video. Next, I've been saying since day one on the other videos for this topic, it depends on your location it appears. TONS of people got 0 down, check the comments. It might your DTI, income, credit history, PAYMENT history...lots of things stopping you from getting the best options.
@@smartphoneconversations It's the first customize page nothing to do with credit history or debt to income ratio. On the first customize page after the default page where you choose which model and financing tab is selected you click on the customize breakdown where the down payment line is at the top and zero doesn't work after scrolling past all the cost breakdown the page won't let you go onto to " continue with application" because the down payment line at the top needs an amount placed in the box which says has to be at least $5400 which is basically the fees and taxes

@@smartphoneconversations thanks. Got the AWD Long Range. Performance doesn't make any sense to me unless you've just got money to burn.
Kinda bummed the 72 month loan is at 1.99% but that is still a steal of a deal.
Yeah, but you got a GREAT rate none the less. NO ONE is giving 1.99% today, only with this offer. I thought about the Performance...but I have the M3Performance coming too. So I didn't see the need. That extra money for the Y performance takes away too much range, you got a sweet deal.
Can you do a trade in on 0.99%?
Yes, that has nothing to do with the rate. You just need to be sure you are qualified for the 0.99%
Ok got it, really tempting
i disagree, those discounts really matters other wise they wouldn't remove it. that 0.99 rate is nothing but an attractive trap to fool you :)
This is no trick or gimmick, it's a good deal. I hear lots of people saying this because of a few things. They don't like EV cars. They don't like Elon Musk. They can't get one.
