    Your initial guide on this in T7 made so much more sense than how a lot of others do it for Leverless. Thanks for this!

      I appreciate this comment. I agree with your sentiment on this one. My Tekken 7 guide had more reiteration and I feel it drove the point home more so than this one. I wanted to make a shorter and simpler guide on this one. I'm glad the other offered more value.

      It did! I think this method is better than the SOCD one simply because you free up your other finger for fast electric punishes etc. with the SOCD method it feels like you’re committing all of your hand to one movement and feels clunky to punish a whiff which is what KBD Is essentially best for anyways.

    It's easier on your fingers and more consistent to do it like this:
    Hold A, then Tap D in quick succession > Tap S for split second, then tap D again. Repeat from Tap D.
    Rhythm of tapping kinda goes like "ADam-SaDam SaDam SaDam", i hope u get the point

      Simultaneous Opposing Cardinal Directions - This means pressing multiple different directions to get different game behaviors.
      On keyboard and hitbox you can press different cardinal directions left, right, up, or down together. - Note: this can also be done on controllers with control sticks.
      What this allows for is behaviors that have unique properties. In this example Korean Backdashing can be done while pressing down and forward to cause a back input.
      Presing both allows for incredibly fast back inputs and couple that with pressing down you get korean backdashes.
      This can be an unfair advantage because you can block faster out of this by letting go of forward instead of pressing down on the back button, because it's already pressed.
      Socd gets far more complicated sometimes such as 4 button king throws and other things. Basically it allows you to shortcut inputs with potentially less risk.

    I am a beginner of this game and i only have a dualshock controller and a keyboard and i don’t know which one i should master with and keep using i would like to take your advice about this since i don’t have a arcade joystick and by the way the keyboard is not a gaming keyboard it’s a regular one

    • @Tuckie
      @Tuckie  Před 7 dny

      @@DetaiIist I would use the dualshock controller.
      If you had a mechanical keyboard then I'd lean more towards that, but dualshock is a very solid controller.
      Many of pros have won tournaments with dualshock controllers. Keyboard has the benefit of better movement and execution later on.

    I really want to play tekken 8, but I'm not used to using a PS controller. Because I'm used to using a PC keyboard. The question is, will people who are used to using a keyboard to play games be easier in tekken 8?

    • @Tuckie
      @Tuckie  Před 4 měsíci +1

      Pretty good, but I will say korean backdashing can be troublesome. This is mainly due to the height of the dpad.
      It's hard to pivot into down to down back and have it consistently release into an additional back. This can be alleviated by manually pressing an additional back input.
      My friend has the same controller and does very well with it reaching purple ranks with Kazuya and wavedashing incredibly well with it. I struggle with that movement personally.
      Overall I'd say if the price is good buy it. It's consistent and if you learn how to use it you'll have very good success with it.
