Update: The original video may have created some misunderstanding on the SOCD execution section. We initially showed how to execute the 41454 inputs instead of the whole 4541454 as we thought there was not much to talk about the first 45. However, some people confused this to be the entire execution of the KBD. Therefore we edited the section to display the entire execution. For those who have watched the original, the changes are from 4:32 to 6:20 (all scenes with Josie).
We also removed the section talking about the safety of KBD. Since KBD utilizes down + back crouch as a cancel, it can block low/dodge high/(some)throws on certain segments but can be susceptible to mid attacks. Safety became a very situational topic. Hence the removal.
Hopefully this update makes the concept more cleaner.

Sadly on m ps4 if I hold back then press forward it doesn't go to neutral it just omits the back a starts moving forward, did they patch it???
I can't confirm the console version but the Steam version still allows to use this method. Are you using a third party controller? Some of them have settings to prioritize certain inputs.

Why does it came out as b,d/b b,d/b.. instead of b,d/b,b?
Does the game go to neutral when you press back and forward at the same time? If so, you're most likely not holding down or releasing the directions at the appropriate times. I suggest following the instructions step by step and make sure you're getting the correct output each time.
