A lot of people online are saying this is the best controller for fighting games. Just looking at the D-ad I can tell it would be jank. Need a traditional 4 way so you can feel pressing down and forward together for a diagonal motion. I just made the mistake of buying a cheap xbone to play killer instinct and god damn the xbone controller is trash. I can barely get any QC moves out. Its mechanical too so clicky. I regret it already and my thumb already hurts only after an hour of playing. Its like KI on the N64, give you a blister playing it. I need a fighting controller for xbox if you have any actual decent suggestions, would be helpful.
thanks man
I have have been doing that too 👍
WINCEST!!!
MY GODDESS!!!!
the feet shot is the way
This has IMO more to do with the springs inside the stick, rather than hall effect sensors.

This kdb look more easier than pad version .
i have the same issue, i cant consistantly do korean back dash in tekken 8, i feel like my years of training is useless lol. i'm considering 8bitdo ultimate, have you ever try it? is it better?
@@subhanmars3330 I have and it ways it is, but it can missinput diagonals at times. It is better at korean backdashing and wavedashing though. Raw diagonals not so much.
@@Tuckie i see, thank you. do you have any recommendation for xbox controller
@@subhanmars3330 Razer Wolverine V2 Chroma is really good
@@Tuckie i'll check it, thank you
can you count venti as a femboy?
@@subinubi Definitely
how tou use keyboard ↗ and ↘?
@@VitaGiovanna Use D+W and D+S and that'll make diagonals. If you want backwards diagonals go A+W and A+S.
I am a beginner of this game and i only have a dualshock controller and a keyboard and i don’t know which one i should master with and keep using i would like to take your advice about this since i don’t have a arcade joystick and by the way the keyboard is not a gaming keyboard it’s a regular one
@@DetaiIist I would use the dualshock controller. If you had a mechanical keyboard then I'd lean more towards that, but dualshock is a very solid controller. Many of pros have won tournaments with dualshock controllers. Keyboard has the benefit of better movement and execution later on.
@@Tuckie I understand, i will try to be better on my controller thank you 👍
It's easier on your fingers and more consistent to do it like this: Hold A, then Tap D in quick succession > Tap S for split second, then tap D again. Repeat from Tap D. Rhythm of tapping kinda goes like "ADam-SaDam SaDam SaDam", i hope u get the point
I'm coming
Thanks! It worked
This really helped! I am glad we can find it like this!! Thank you so much!
Hey I know this video was from a while ago but just wanted to know if you still use this controller and if you know if it's good for street fighter 6
Sorry I didn't see this comment but yes it definitely works quite well with it.
@@Tuckie been using the controller recently and I really like it, kinda wish the dpad was where the ps5 controllers dpad is but it's still really good, just gotta get use to the pad
@@rekxnxo I think you'll like it with time
Do you know good options for ps5? I currently have the dual sense edge and my thumb gets sore after playing like 1-2 hours
@@ixaep I've heard the Razer Wolverine V2 Pro has had issues for some, but it could be worth it. I use the Razer Wolverine V2 Chroma - The Xbox one on PC. I'm not sure how the PS5 version works but the Xbox version works really well. At the moment, I don't think there is any good PS5 options that I could recommend sadly.
I am stuck between ultimate and pro 2 which one would you recommned
@@filipinomate1862 I don't have any experience with the pro 2, but dpad wise it's not too bad for fighting games.
Cool
hey. the dpad has had metal click switches from what ive seen in teardown. sliding your thumb along the outer part is likely to press, let go, wait, then press the other direction. keeping your thumb in the center and rotating should be faster for less thumb movement once you get used to it. this video actually made me realize this controllers dpad is actually great for fighting games
LOL 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
me when I'm Vivienne Medrano
Your biggest issue was using dpad to begin with
Well analog sticks aren't really that good. I haven't seen someone who's very Proficient using just analog sticks before. Dpad is pretty much a have to unless you use another peripheral.
AWOOGA!!
What binds do you use on the right hand?
IOKLP;[' - I Left punch/1, O Right Punch/2, K Left Kick/3, L Right Kick/4, P Left + Right Punch/1+2, ; Left + Right Kick/3+4, [ is RB - for Heat, ' is LB for whatever I would want, but I don't have it mapped.
Sir this is a McDonald’s- and no sir you can’t order me or the rest of the staff
I switched to an 8bit do and its been amazing! The dpad is perfect and the buttons feel great except the Lb and Rb are tiny. Im going to buy a hori fighting commander to compare the two for SF6
Hori Fighting commander wasn't that great for me
what kind of 8bit do you have? I was thinking about getting one
@@ElJp99 I no longer use and 8bit controller.
@@Tuckie I was referring to markmessi's comment, sorry for the misunderstanding
Thank you so much!! I accidentally clicked out when I should have gotten the last reward, this definitely helps!
I returned mine today only play tekken (raijin jin rank) and yh it was bad very bad controller so far the best controller ive tried was the scuf envision but that thing is a piece of crap dpad broke within couple days im still on the look for a main controller
Razer Wolverine V2 Chroma is insanely good
@@Tuckie i just bought the Flydigi Vader 3 Pro heard nothing but good thing hopefully comes soon after that ima try the v2 chroma trying to snipe one from ebay but no luck atm
@@AlCrazi Yeah let me know about the Vader that was one I heard about but have no experience with.
@@TuckieI heard the dpad with the wolverine v2 chroma is terrible for fighting games have u used it before?
@@rekxnxo Yes I've used it for about 2 years now and it's a great controller. I have no issues with the dpad.
What is the meaning of life?
The only fix I could find to this issue is to switch how I do my inputs. When I had a DS3 I did them the same way you do sliding my finger basically, I started just leaving my thumb parked in the middle of the dpad and rocking the pad around where I want it to go. Completely solved my problem, I have a really hard time using controllers if I keep taking my thumb off the dpad anyway.
its the position of your dpad you should flip it thats where it would be for playstation. and make sure you recalbriate it. Also, for electrics map your back button under your right middle finger to forward, then just tap F, N, then tap the button, down, and 2 all together it is legit easy mode dude i rip wavedashes on this thing
Like your making content trashing a great controller over assembly and your skill in tekken. You might as well get a fight pad or leverless stick. I bought the controller because I’m better with a Xbox controller but I have been using fight pad.
I mean assembly is everything. When the price point is on the verge of 200$, and doesn't have quality features, what are you paying for? My skill is admittedly not great in Tekken, but I addressed valid concerns within guilty gear strive as well. I have played fighting games on and off for years now, and can tell you now it's a bad controller. I've used several controllers for the games and can say the Victrix Pro BFG is just a bad controller. It doesn't have mechanical switches, which isn't inherently bad, but it also doesn't have consistently good dpad inputs. Random jumping and getting unwanted inputs is very bad for a controller. It's just not a good controller and assembly is very pertinent in this case.
Tweaked controller best thing that happened to me besides my wife 😂😂 you might just have a defective controller
Could've been possible
Yea bro no disrespect at all but I just got a lot more out of this controller compared to my dual sense ps5. But everyone knows ps5 controller is trash. But my first Victrix was faulty, I bought it from Walmart it had connectivity issues and compatibility issues, I returned and went to GameStop got the same victrix and haven’t had problems since. That’s why I said you might have a defective one. But hey if you don’t like the controller I can’t do anything to convince you to like it. It’s your experience!
@@MarcusHarley-kz5ii I appreciate the follow up comment. I think it wasn't defective just not my style especially given the price. I think it's overpriced but compared to OEM PS5 it's probably better than that.
Wah?
Thank you very much sir, i can finally backdash cancel with two fingers and letting me time for using my whiff punish tools in Time !
How does this compare to a dualshock 4? I sometimes get "wrong" inputs on the DS4 and am considering switching.
It's vastly better and rarely ever does anything close. I can't go back fo DS4 controllers.
I missed the plus sign dpad
Thank you Thank you Thank you !! ;o;! you saved me

i have sennheise hd 599 , is gsx 1000 sound quality any good in normal mode and whats your opinion on 7.1, do surround sound from it sound natural or does it feel like fake staging
The normal mode is the best if you are talking anything but the 7.1. I personally prefer the music setting on the gsx 1000. The 7.1 seems very gimmicky and the any of the standard settings sound much better.
@Tuckie thank you, so you are telling that 7.1 is not really that impressive.
@@Tuckiehow is 7.1 for watching movies
@@sumanthduggirala1887 Yeah, it's really not. I think for movies, it may be okay at best. I never tried it with movies because it wasn't worth listening to, even for short periods of time. When I tried to play some games with it, I found that everything just felt unnatural and off. It feels like a forced 7.1 where everything is split up into seemingly different sources, and the sound quality deteriorates. It doesn't sound seamless, like a movie theater.
@@Tuckie thank you
