The frustrating thing is this device was $299 just a week ago. I hate it when companies raise the price just before a “sale” and then mark it back down to near the previous price and call it a “sale.” Kind of a shady way to do business.
The price was not raised, it was on sale for $299 when you saw it, the MSRP has been $349 for a while, and it actually started selling at $399 when released

@@RyanKemperinOhio My comment was in regards of statement about raising prices; I don't know what your definition of "longest time" is, but after their Mother's day sale ($299) they brought the price back to $349, and while it went again on sale, it went down only to $329... you have to remember that there are a lot of holidays and dates where people expect sales to happen, so it is not a shady practice to reduce the amount of discount from time to time.
Early adopters pay the higher tag price on items, after that, MSRP will usually remain the same (or be reduced like in this case) and discount can bring the price even lower.

My uncle had a similar looking thing, though he didn't leave the house much at the time to use it outdoors.
This seriously felt like a 5 minute late night infomercial you know the ones where they try to pawn off useless stuff like these two college professors was tired of paying for high electricity bills so they teamed up and created this gadget in an state of the art laboratory to reduce your bill by 65% and if you act in the next 30 seconds you can get it at the special sales price of $99.99
That's what watching this felt like just on CZcams instead of on cable and with a social media influencer instead of a horrible voiceover

To be fair, Justine does A LOT of this kind of content.
I think it would be nice if you could link studies/papers that found the things you claim the product to have. That way it is more transparent and people can check themselves.
I find when this kind of stuff is pushed by techtube people it's usually always a gimmick. I would not trust this device personally, just like all the other expensive gadgets pushed to us.
Yeah that’s why we should get to check the study ourselves. I already see problems with a control group and confounds.

I use mine everyday since last November. I have adhd, and some social anxiety and get over stimulated by things due to my sensory processing disorder. With Apollo has been a godsend for me making things easier for me day to day. Best early Christmas gift ever in my opinion
I just don’t know about having ANOTHER wearable. Between my Apple Watch and Oura ring, I already feel like I got a lot goin on. Adding something to my ankle is just one more thing to have to charge and another app I gotta use to control it. Could be an interesting concept, I’d need to read studies to ensure it’s not just a placebo effect.

Interesting concept. Whether it actually works though, I remain skeptical. But shall remain open minded. I would like to get this because things keep me awake and i have things happening in my body sometimes every time i lay down. I found it the other day and it's $299 so I'm gonna have to wait for my birthday on May 5th 2024 to get it. I can't wait to experience the vibrations. I did get a manta sleep mask for christmas and i can try asmr with it connected to my phone. I have autism and with autistics insomnia is more common. Ive been dealing with it since May 2014 almost a full decade already.

Thanks for the video. I bought this device a couple of years ago and then noticed it had no medical research attached to it or any impressive reliable data, and plus it didn't work for me, and it was annoying that it was so expensive. It seemed like a scam, so I forgot about it. But your video made me want to give it another chance. I just hope I will figure out where I put it... And yes, please let us know if your sleep trackers notice a difference.
Mine broke within 2 weeks of having it. I was so annoyed I just decided to pass on the device altogether. Hard pass for me.
