We all work crazy hours and jobs. Cleaning the floors takes 15 minutes a week if that depending on your house size.
If they have time to sit on CZcams to talk about their floors. Then yeah.
TheOutsidersPost People can sit and talk on CZcams on the go. For some people who are working long hours and traveling, time spent at home is a luxury, and if you can afford not to have to spend some of that luxury time on chores, its nice to have the option.

The next generation of this would be one in which this gets an arm with grasping capabilities as well as some abilities to help handicapped people get around. Imagine this concept extended to adding these AI capabilities to a wheelchair and allowing people who are otherwise immobile to be cared for. I have a disabled family member who would love one of these with those capabilities. I'd bet in the next 5 years we see an explosion of these sorts of technologies revolutionizing disabled and hospital care for patients and day to day life in general.
Now if only the robot had arms and it could bring me food and beer! :) that would be LIT!

It can charge stuff. It can bring you stuff. It can help you by playing videos. It can play music. You can call in to it to communicate with your family. Great video, good introduction to the TAMI personal robot. All it needs is an arm so it can actually get things for you. Combine it with a vacuum and everyone will want one.

This robot is like what the first cell phone was; they were cool, they didn't have many functions though and were not really all that useful, but look at all the things you can do with a smart phone today, so imagine the next generations of this robot in like 10-20-30 years. Eventually it'll be able to go up stairs and interact with other appliances to make you food and bring you drinks and probably a million other things.

1. Vacuum or duster built into base
2. Security/Sentry mode with alarm, flashlight and 911 call function
3. Basic manipulator arm for retrieving/delivering small items. Possible feather dusting application.
4. Facial recognition and personalized reminders "Daniel did you take your heart medicine today?"
5. Smart memory function to help find lost or misplaced items in the house. "Temi have you seen my keys?"

The thing is that this is a cool and âfunâ item to have but at the same time itâs pretty useless. I mean it can make video calls and charge your phone, pretty sure the new Samsung phones can do the same and they are less than half the price.
Itâs just one of those things that are really fun to mess around with at the start but in a couple of days you just forget about it and barely use it.

If wonder if this is technology based on the Dykstraflex. In case you're wondering, look up "ilm dykstra". Obviously, this is lightyears ahead (no pun intended). This robot can be taught where a space is by just recording the path it takes. Plus, I'm sure it uses proximity sensors to avoid objects and to detect where certain objects are supposed to be in correlation with the path it takes.
