Thanks for sharing! I usually spend too much time in puddles of paper cuts so I love the idea of just cutting the whole page out and then snipping it digitally. Glad I found your vid, inspired me to pick up collaging again

Oh I understand, a lot of the books I cut up I scan first so I have a digital copy. But even then, some books I just leave together

Aww yea! Glad it could help. Sometimes you can find inspiration in the smallest or most random image. I love going through old magazines for ideas

Thanks, nice video. As you mentioned I'm one of those that finds digital material on free websites but after watching your video I'll consider using physical books and magazines!do you scan them with your smartphone camera? Also, what about the copyright? since I'm posting on Instagram for the moment i only use free material but it's limiting a lot, because there's so much good stuff out there, even in books.

Hey, Glad you liked the video. And really there is nothing wrong with finding source images wherever you can, digital or in a magazine. I use digital sources rarely sometimes. For copyright, it usually depends on the image, the copyright for the image/publication, and how much you edit the image to make it something new. I don't worry about copyright unless it's a pretty big piece with a lot of public viewing. I say use whatever images you want and have fun with them. I'm also releasing a new collection of a bunch of source images soon with a video so deff check that out when it is uploaded
