Tarantino, like Kubrick or Woody Allen, is a divisive director. You either love his work, or hate it and think he is overrated. But the ones who love it, REALLY love it.

    Timothy olyphant and Goggins, awesome

Ill always remember when Tarantino filmed grindhouse in my hometown. A few theater kids went near the set to see what they could. He invited them on set let them watch a scene be shot and even took a picture with them. Cool guy.

Walton Goggin’s is so underappreciated 🔥

"He'll be in the Pantheon", yet every time the guy speaks, he sounds tweaked.

Samuel L Jackson telling Michael Keaton what Quentin’s set is like as if he wasn’t in Jackie Brown with him 😂😂😂

  • @brwskitime

Harvey Weinstein energy. All hail QT

  • @jonathanmette8348

For a guy that does hillbilly so well, Walter Goggins is very well spoken 🤣

I could listen to Christoph Waltz recite the numbers from one to a million

I can’t hear Christopher Waltz speak without hearing “wait for the creme!” play out in my head.

I was able to work on Once Upon a Time In Hollywood as a PA (Production Assistant), Tarantino’s energy is incomparable with anyone’s, also he’s incredibly nice and funny, the guy LOVES making movies. But yeah, as a crew member you feel the pressure to he the best of the best.

Just watched Once Upon a Time in Hollywood for the first time, and it was just amazing. Non spoiler alert: There’s a scene where Leo’s character (a Hollywood actor) is on a movie set and forgets his line so they have to cut. While he’s getting his line from the script supervisor, I can hear other conversations coming through on the surround sound. For a second I was wondering what I was hearing? Where’s that coming from? That’s exactly what happens on movie sets when the camera is not rolling. Crew talk to each other about what they’re about to do, etc. Most directors would have omitted the background chatter to keep the focus on the characters speaking dialogue. QT included it for the most authentic recreation of an actor working on a movie set. Great, great flick and that little detail made it that much better.

No cellphones, thats good. Phones take people emotionally out of their current location...people are absent even they are right there.

Olyphant didn’t want to play a role he felt was similar to past roles until his manager replied “Not many people saw those movies”.

Walton Goggins needs to be bigger than he is. That man is an extraordinary talent. I respect Tarantino for recognising that and giving him opportunities.

No cell phones during work- good rule to have 💯

  • @siddmic

Thats some high regard from some serious heavy weights.
