- Time for a newsflash update, as Raravoss has been taking over by the Triglavians and their capsuleer allies, leading to us getting to see the new mechanics at play in Chapter 3 of EVE Online's Invasion arc!

I reckon they'll collapse the star into a massive fixed wormhole into triangle space where there'll be an expansion of eve into structured trig space. Not just temporary abyssal space.

biggest concern is that they're removing vast amounts of heavy elements very quickly.
if enough mass can be removed, then the explosive force of the giant fusion bomb in the centre of each system will overwhelm the gravity holding it in place...
it's a game don't expect that amount of realism
I have no clue why people would even want this level of realism in a game.
Well, this is an interesting way to kick off the scarcity part of the ore re-balance. Imagine how much is getting drained from the economy by surprised freighters.

As silly as it sounds, to me I think this will eventually cause a split fracture down the middle of a combined empire (edencom) vs trigs in a sort of "'wow-themed" alliance vs horde. EVE basically got bought by the Black Desert Online group so I could see that.
Maybe if everyone is in the invasion, I could get some stuff done in WH space!
The smaller edencom sites are actually quite easy to solo unless you’re running the amarrian ones. The amarrian neuting makes it ridiculously harder and painful to do, but the other racial ewars arent much of a pain by comparison. Unfortunately, the amarrians own about 40% of space, so they get way more invasions than anyone else. I have a fit that should be able to solo the non-amarrian forward posts (easiest) for JUST 190M, but havent been able to test it due to the lack of non-amarrian invasions lately. I might take it out to Fasse later to try though
I’m guessing that Final Liminality Trig systems will have Triglavian NPCs protecting those who have sided with them and acting hostile against any other entrants, essentially becoming the new CONCORD of said system.
And yeah let's keep the Trigalvion invasion as well as the sleepers attack and taking over null-s, it be crazy, but it won`t be boring :)

As much as I’d love to help the Triglavians. I ain’t about knowingly feeding pirates.
What happens with gate guns? Are these concord things so trig lowsec doesnt have them? Meaning gates are more like null without bubbles?
The original Empire gate guns are still present and will still fire upon players engaging in crimial activity near them. The system functions like a regular low-sec system but without the capital ships.
Triglavians have been anchoring their own static guns through out the system however these are destroyed by the Amarr forces relatively quickly. This is why some people think proecting the Triglavian roaming forces, and the industrials, is more important as it allows the Trigs to get their infrastructure up.
And players can take over NPC stations in high sec and set their own rates for products that be even more interesting. I would like to see those solo players start to be brought more into the mix, through mission and interaction with corporation run players, as well as showing not just new players but some of the more seasoned players who don`t know which modules work best for certain situations as well as ships. and about time Eve online brings in the AI element to the game what on a person does affect the others either individually or a corporation! And it forces you to learn and adapt!
Yeah, screw that, I hate PVP. The only thing this is going to do is make me drop Omega and uninstall the game.

Be aware of the other obvious mistake in eve .. joining fleets on system entry... w/o double checking zkill for T or E .. FS o7 .. oh .. the smaller structures on the belts .. did you notice them? ..the turret that was left on belt near one was nasty stuff...

Also, from a lore standpoint, why do people support trigs? They seem to be the type of entities that act more like an ever-consuming maw rather than a civilized society.
core players are in null sec, high secs players are even between alpha and years afk
Trigs are the best ships for pvp atm and high sec is not fun for most null sec players (read "the majority of players"), so they are an easy choice

And considering the war upcoming the null sec players will stop to support trig while the high sec player will continue to support edencom so we will probably see edencom wining some system now

Hi. I need to go to a system with this "thing" to do a quest. Just started this game 2 days ago. I keep dying. How long this this goes on in a system?.
It goes on until the EDENCOMM side (those working with Concord) are able to flip it.
I would suggest abandoning that quest (you can do so in your Journal) and requesting a new mission, there's very little penalty for doing so, despite all the warnings the game throws at you. Standings don't mean that much, especially so early on in your career.

@@julianmonakian EVE's a game where the best way to play is ultimately how you have fun, so if you enjoy the chillaxing and mining life, then it'll be decent enough for you - But if you find it boring, there's plenty of other ways to make ISK that'll be more effort intensive and earn you more ISK per hour. Generally things are balanced more as a ISK/hour/effort paradigm than a pure ISK/hour thing, as effort is what limits multiboxing.
Some other good career options for new players are salvaging in nullsec, or doing exploration via filaments/wormholes, which can make around 30m/h and 100m/h respectively - But carry with it the need to be pressing a lot of buttons and paying attention to what's going on whilst you do it.

I am curious how faction standings will work out. I don't want to be a bad boy in highsec and don't have a dedicated low faction toon
fighting for either edencom or the trigs doesn't change your empire standing. you'll only gain/lose standing with those specific factions in the invasion systems
I'm not rooting for the Trigs, but it would be super interesting if they hit Jita and turned the whole hub upside down.
Jita turning to lowsec would be hilarious and fucked up at the same time. It will collapse New Eden's economy

If any of you actually bothered to look at the data buried in the awful report that Arataka released you would realize it's complete BS that the Trigs prefer blue/white stars over any others. The reason for the statistical jump in blue/white stars being favored is the simple fact that there are more blue/white stars in HS space than other stellar classes. Hence why in LS invasions you don't see this same preference for stellar class.

For me id have it if an empire is fighting another you be warned that you will be a target if you enter an empire system who`s at war with your empire in High sec and if fly into saying Amar and them are at war with Minmartar and you from Min then you going be a target for Amarions! make it very interesting because it forces you to go through null sec if want to get around!

I've had to take longer routes to get around the heavy fighting, just like I've sometimes had to do before this all started, and it isn't even a mild annoyance at this point. Tough it out and make adjustments to your MO based on the changing world around you, that's pretty much a core aspect of playing EVE.
