Jin'taan vid! I'm famous! Etsala Legion had a great time blapping their BS with tornados. That mail at 3:30 was actually when we took a cheap cruiser roam to harass them in Jita while we were bored. Also, the mail at 3:55 was not us suicide ganking them, they declared war on our alliance, Etsala Legion, tried to extort us, and when they showed up in their blingy BS we just bounced around them in nados and blapped them with a brave few in catas for extra deeps and tackle. Great vid though.
Just as I began playing EVE like, 15 days ago, I find out all of this is happening and heck, I tried my first nullsec hacks in Syndicate two days ago :v

Minor correction: the tornado image you showed for PIRAT was actually not a gank. Etsala Legion was actively leading tornado fleets against PIRAT in the photo. They were incredibly effective for their cost.

New player here! The battle in YE1-9S was actually my first major engagement in Eve Online. I was flying a jackdaw but I was removed from the battle an hour in. Was really really fun to be part of despite being late in the evening for me o7
Unfortunately I miss all the big fights in Provi due to my tz. Can't alarm clock every 3am fight. I am enjoying the ongoing small gang skirmishes with RC and all the other reds we are blessed with in Provi, and finding I enjoy them more than the big slugfests (now with moar TIDI!). I appreciate these updates for perspective. Such a dynamic living galaxy. No other reality like it...
EDIT: Oh, and definitely let everyone in Brave know we love them.

This is possibly one of the best times to come back to the game - Action everywhere, and the value of ISK is going up instead of down, so krabbing should be getting easier over time!

The quality of these updates are unreal!
Just clarifying a couple things on the brief mention of Dead Star: it was not Spearheaded by HK. INHE initially invaded almost a week prior but were forced out after a 100bil+ brawl for Hole Control before armour timers (First fight BR- zkillboard.com/related/31002437/202005092000/ would have been even worse for them had their Booshers not been absolutely on point, kudos). Dead Star & Friends killed off most of the support in the fight and the next day, INHE evac'd facing overwhelming force for another Hole Control brawl (would have had them bubbled off the hole if not for a botched fleet warp).
They, of course, came back a couple days later, the 'first fight' you mention was the second Armour timer fought over and the timer was whittled down to 14 seconds left, Dead Star went after the INHE Armour fleet, leaving the Quasarknocks Cerberus Fleet (Insert Wolf-Rayet meme here) to hold the timer towards the end. The Structure timer was a 2/1 massacre just to show face, felt like every man and his dog had got into system 'cause hey, it was a faction Fort final timer :D. -DSYN & Friends did have 80+ Pilots trying to rage roll in, however it did not happen. Great content either way, it was a blast!

hey Jin'taan, a little correction regarding Providence: both Escape Velocity and Total Eclipse are part of Provibloc, so you might want to update your map in future videos in regard on their sov systems in the north (8P9-BM and 3GXF-U; 49GC-R is mixed TCU/IHUB with one of the many rekking crew fake "+2 index because of capital bonus" alliances so picture it as you like).
So a couple points of correction regarding PIRAT.
1. They quite literally had a rule against camping the 4-4 undock. While the occasional killright, flashyboi, or bump did happen there, the vast majority of their kills in Jita do not happen "in docking range" but rather on the gates out of system.
2. Those tornado kills are not "suicide ganks" but actual war targets simply using alpha to good effect.
3. The actual disband pretty much came down to Tiran getting a fleet dunked on, losing a shiny pod and ragequitting eve.

I havent been in a Corp in High/Low sec in the past 3 or 4 years that wasnt decd by PIRAT, good fights guys o7. Such a deep game, it's not for everyone.
A question to Jintaan! @Jintaan for an eve player who hasn`t played Eve online for some years and means a good 10 years how much has Eve online has changed beyond recognition! Can you compare through a video, please!

EVE, the game that is much more fun to read and watch about than it is to actually play. :D
The VKI ihub, we didn't even try to drop our own, won the objective, seen the RC supers forming, noped out and I went back to bed, as I woke up at 4AM to make that fight. RC just throwing up capitals in every system, making it near impossible to make inroads now. I don't know what the future holds for Provi bloc, we're currently more focused on helping Brave's Voltron coalition than we are defending provi, make of that what you will.
provibloc can't defend themselves, they never could. the reason CVA still has it is because nobody else wants it. the hostiles occupied a few systems to set up bridges and use provi as their hunting ground...

Another great video about Eve politics but Would you also cover the politics in the mobile version of Eve online when it comes out? I heard it will have very similar economy, politics and mechanics as the pc version but in a smaller scale, plus everyone starts fresh (everything could happen there XD)
There is some talk of WhoIsAFIsh, from Obsidian ( OB$ ) taking a role on talking in stations to cover some echoes interviews or similar, but as yet we do not know the full details. Find them/her on discord.

The main reason why legacy proper is now taking part in the cache theater is because Fedup isn’t able to fight NSH by them selves and are losing every engagement they fight and with that Fedup is bleeding members and corps and one of their lead FCs left them to rejoin Iron Guard who is now in NSH
That fc also walked off with most the alliance liquid isk, doctrine ships and capitals. Lulz

So I've only done nul sec exploration (was in brave for a time) and high sec mission ruining so I'm not that experienced with EVEs weird war deck meta game. Can some one explain to me what war decking in high sec is for? I mean it seems like most industry is carried out in nul and stuff is transported into the core markets by unaligned alts....so it cant exist to stop that because it doesn't work...

Provi asked the brave,goons and test to help them out. You know this better than anyone else. They dont deserve their space.
How can I imagine these wars? Are there traders who got „recruited“ to fight for their corp instead of trading?
Pilots who fly "jump freighters" do the logistical work of moving stuff in and out from the high security space trade hubs, and put up ships on contract to their alliance members, or on the general market. Those same pilots usually also are engaged in the fights themselves as well.
Imagine mercenaries and a militia force of pilots fighting for large corporate-nations.

Most "traders" in nullsec are also fighting in the wars. In highsec it gets a bit more stratified, with more people focused on purely PVE activities like mining, trading and industry. That being said, there are players in nullsec alliances that are strictly PVE, but in my experience they choose corporate allegiance through a combination of circumstance, convenience, friendship and familiarity, or just plain ease of access to the specific content they are after.
It is rare for corps to headhunt individuals unless they become personally known to high level members as a potential recruit, though it can happen organically through their gameplay being noticed as an asset by corpmembers. Usually in null this is PVP based though. A particularly persistent explorer might be contacted if their history seems clean etc. but it is quite rare with traders specifically.

i never was an victim of PIRAT infact was in an Corp what was in An Alliance what was allied with PIRAT, but im glad they are gone

Lost a deadspace fitted ikitursa to pirat in jita as I undocked, despite having a warp to undock.
Undock in a pod, this loads the grid, then redock, jump in your shiney- when you undock a second time you wont black screen as long and can warp before your ten second invulnerability timer runs out. Also consider using a travel fit, istabs in the lows et so you are more agile in dangerous areas and can warp faster. If it takes more than minimal effort to gank you, they will find easier targets.
A lot of people used PIRAT, seems lots of indy types that could afford it.
To be clear, pony boys have no stance in this fight, they need frat NC and PL to help them to do anything. Alone they get thrashed by FE alone
I am looking forward to hear such news from Star Citizen... when it‘s done.
If Star Citizen launches with an MMO-y aspect to it that ends up generating politics like this, I'd definitely consider branching out and covering it as well :)
Jin'taan There was a little „war“ around a point called „Jumptown“ and this war Made it into the official lore, so i think in Future we can expect something like That.

By the time Star Citizen is actually ready and in final release, if ever, EVE will be over 20 years old. That's a lot of history.
@@phreenom Star Citizen should have released a decade ago and then updated the game through content patches like every other game rather than chasing perfection that will never come.

Things about PIRAT:
1. Didn't sit on undock, they get you at the gates. This is because the defender can also just dock up too.
2. The 'passive hunting' was not more profitable than contracts, it was just less effort for the reward.
3. Even though PIRAT had around 150 wars, there were too many blues and barely any targets. It got stale.
Neutral alts to avoid war decs(concord avoidance bs). Pirat were pussies that would always run from a fight.

Even though pirat is considered a "cancer" alliance. It's sad to see them disbanding just like snuffed out and skill urself. It seems like those elite PvP players are all either leaving this game or went to join the larger alliances. It removes the variation of corps in this game
They didn't "disband" in the same way skill urself did, and Jin's information is horrendously inaccurate.
the TL/DR is that One of their Russian leaders was salty and gave the decent corps the boot, essentially there's now a pirate made of competent pilots and fc's (Blackflag) who enjoy proper fights, and a useless one that cant even tie their own shoelaces (gop) who are only interested in effortless ganking on the undock.

I want to get into this game, but I'm super intimidated. My gamer skill/commitment is meh, am I wasting my time on eve?
I dont think so. It always depends what you end up doing. If you're joining a big null entity there will be some commitment expected from you (CTA's, fleet quotas etc.) If you play on your own its pretty hard to waste your time since your skills keep training while you're offline.
I'd give eve a try if i was you, alpha accounts dont cost anything.
There are also organizations (e.g. EVE University) that don't expect much commitment, but still provide opportunities to engage in stuff you can't do on your own.
Pandemic, RC and friends didn't win the ISK war all in all, we were behind only by a bit, and we looted the field. Providence won the ISK war with the loot, and we won the objective.
The killboards don't always tell the whole story, but it was a gf.
Tbf Provi lost the isk war even only by a bit while outnumbering RC by 400 people
@@m3tzl3 They won the ISK war without loot because Pandemic ran, I've got the video of them clearing the field and leaving their friends to die. It was indeed a good fight, but they cleared the field and left the apostles to their fate among the rest of them. Seddow even ejected from his monitor and cleared the field.

You should absolutely get an account booted up ASAP, even if only to get training. Everyone fails in some respect when playing EVE, as you can hear from whenever I do commentary of my own flying, the important part is being able to learn what you did wrong and improving from it :)

I am in those battles, and it turns out Snugg are mostly loosing every even fight they are participating in, while crying about imaginary batphones to justify it. It's so fucking ironic to speak about batphones when you are part of a bloc that control 25% of the entire game and DO have reinforcement from it..
And it's pretty hilarious to be in those battles, to see some players literally firing at your ship, and then watch Snugg pretend that those same players who killed you and even had the last blow and top damages on the killmail are "your batphone". I won't deny that they do have some batphones, but much less than what Snugg pretend. And what did they expect anyway, to fight a 15 mans corps that would stay alone against their bloc? Yeah, woh, such warriors.
If that's what you call "a bang", I'm not impressed. A bang of salt and tears, maybe?
