That point especially about going local. Appreciated 👏🏼
Really great tips you’ve put together in this video. And the stache, i honestly have no problem with it whatsoever. Keep doing you. And I can’t wait what you have planned on those two bottom aquariums.
Awesome advice, thanks for sharing your experiences as it helps so much!
I don’t really have any other places to buy from other than Petsmart and petco. I don’t take them seriously anymore, I only buy from there because there isn’t anywhere else I know of
Ah yea you can get some good stuff there
Good video ! Thanks !
New hobby for me. So these tips are great, Simple but very helpful.
Man ty so much your help was in handy thank you 🙏
Just recently got my first tank thank you for the good tip on the food!
Also I need to move the tank I’ve had the water running for a few days with the filter and pump it’s ok if I just take some of the water out with a bucket and put it back in right? And I’m waiting like another week to get the fish so I don’t have them yet but I’ve already added quick start and the other thing to the water
Thank you :)
Bro really your all tips were very useful for me thank you smch
Thank you!
Oh this is the first time I see you have a classy moustache you really look mature :-)
For me I only move stuffs around a tank when it has a fake plant and decorations since I want them to be stimulated thinking they swam into a different body of water but with my planted tank I just scrub the walls and nudge the removable stones just to clean underneath. Only chemicals I put are the fertilizer and vitamins.
Digging the Movember!!
Legend!
4 year old video I know but as a Minnesotan I just had to say nice shirt. Also great video
Love your videos! And love your 'tash ;)
Great tips! I might add to check the expirations of chemical treatments as well. Just fried my fish with outdated Tetra water conditioner (I was out of the hobby for a few years).
That sucks but thx for the tip
Hi I have a love fish panorama 64 litre tank it keeps going cloudy any tips to keep it clear
Do you do any videos on aquarium water test strips? If not, what do you think about using strips in general--necessary?
Love the Chanel bro good hobby fish Keelung is
Thanks man!
Yo where'd you get the tank stands?
Great tip about food. Seems really obvious - I went and checked my food as soon as I heard that tip, and ALL of it is out of date! Going to go out and buy some more. Probably worth saying to buy the smallest container of food you can buy, that way you need to buy it regularly.
What medication should I use to give new fish ? I am planning to get an aquarium next month .
@keepingfishsimple What multicure do you use?

People who stereotype us:
I've seen a lot of "tips" by youtubers, but yours are very practical and original. It's very worth it to watch the whole thing. Thanks for your good videos. #< Fishez
Legend thank you!
Video so true Nick
$15/Hr??? Dang, I need to work at Petco in Australia.
I looking at getting my first aquarium but the only space I have will get a lot of sun light is ok or will it be to hard for someone new to keeping fish
Might be tricky but any aquarium is better than none
Heyyy can you please do some more videos on guppy care and fry growth etc, I got my first guppy’s just over a month ago and boom now I have 45 and a 3rd pregnant one. One enjoying breeding them but running out of options for tanks I have a breeder box and 2 tanks as I had to buy the box and tank although I’m struggling for more space as where I am it’s cold and I have to buy heaters for the tanks and they are more exspensive than the tank! Any advice would be greatly appreacitated and sorry for spellings!!! Thank you baii!!!
-just saw the video from the other day lol very helpful but still need advice on what to do for tanks etc if you can please!
If you’ve got the same problems like the comment to make it more likely for him to see!!
You’ve either got to sell them or find a way to make it easier for the parents to see the fry! Good luck
I see this video is from 3 years ago, I hope you're still responding to questions. Re: Tip #2 - medicating new fish. I happen to live within driving distance of Aquarium Co-op and I know they medicate fish. Should we still medicate new fish if we know they are coming from a shop that quarantines & medicates?
Thank you for all the great tips! Patience has been a struggle, but it's paid off so far with my first tank.
I wouldn't recommend that. I know that can be a lot difference depending on where in the world you live, but where I live, in north Europe, no matter what animal you keep, you don't(!) medicate animals/fish of any kind unless they show signs of being sick. I work in a pet store, we sell fish, and we never give meds to the fish and our costumers haven't had any problem with the fish they've bought. But if you already have an aquarium with a lot of fish and are scared that there will be problems getting new fish, you can always keep the new fish in an isolated aquarium for a little while just to make sure they're healthy before having them to the other fish.
hey nice video, WHEN is the fish auction at springwood state school? and what time does the auction start?
thanks
6pm I’m not too sure what time bidding is
@@KeepingFishSimple What's the date?
This Saturday
@@KeepingFishSimple Thanks:)
It's YOUR stache--do what u want.
Nice moosetache
I'd definitely take the tip, cutie 💅😍
Don’t be like that take the hole thing
I don’t know much about fish or aquariums but I just started 2 weeks ago and haven’t quarantined any of the fish or had the tank “cycled” my water levels were perfect and now I can’t get ammonia down. It’s says at 0.25...? Should I do a water change or add more safe start and maybe some ammo-lock?
god damn that mustache is fresh af
What petsmart is paying 15 an hour? That's a good wage where I live 😂
in california im sure they make $15 an hour. our minimum wage right now is $12 an hour
Lol do they sell American football merch in Australia??
Great advice though!! 😊
Haha not quite, I am American! And thank you
KeepingFishSimple wait really?? Lol my bad 😂
🤙🤙🤙
What about Walmart please reply fast cause I get my fish on Tuesday
I need to order online more. Closest box store is 1 hour from my house.. the closest actual fish store is 2+ hours from my house..
And the petsense I’m referring too is completely awful when it comes to fish disease 🦠 like they aren’t even trying to… very frustrating.
First point sort the tash out
Unbelievable that a vikings fan lives in Australia.
You’re the 15 year old teen at the counter of fishtubers
Am I?
KeepingFishSimple yes, you are. stfu
Bear tip I ever came across……easy……sodium thiosulphate
British guy wearing a Vikings shirt? I remember traveling to London and I saw more USA sports teams then I’ve ever seen. Weird how the British are so obsessed with us🤣
He's not British lmao 🤣
Btw I think snails are bad
🙊
U over medicating yer fish is annoying
Your moustache looks so bad!!
I agree!
Remove it then 😂 why you wanna have it while you don't like it?
I don't think it looks bad, just not balanced with the rest. If you can grow somewhat of a beard along with it, it would be cool if both were kept well trimmed, but by itself, the stache just stands a little bit out of place.
Imagine you hate your own life so much that you're trying make another grown man shave his mustache while you have a anime profile pic and hating.
