Sprockets and wheels need to be the same on both kart and bike for a race. Good video tho

For a while i always felt that many guys didn't launch their minibikes hard or fast, it wasn't until i built my 212 and after about a week of messing with the chain the thing threw me off at a quarter throttle, it mainly comes down to it needing a wheelee stand or 50 pounds strapped to the front end even then i doubt it'd work since I'm a 200 pound guy

Check out the ducar 212 guys, better than the ghost...almost 200 bucks cheaper. No plastic gears either, with a pvl aluminum flywheels rated to 10,000 RPM, adjustable jets, stronger reinforced crank case, and more torque.
How do you think this was work on up trailmaster for cruising the neighborhoods think I can get speeds at about 45-50
This mini bike topped out at 43mph. So with the right gearing paired with the ghost I’d say you would be close. Thanks for the question!
@@TheGarageVlog or do you think I am better off with a tillerson 212 which I have also with mukni carburetor and header pipe. Also wondering if my add on from Tilley would fit the ghost

What torque converter are you using on the ghost. I have it but can't get it to line up
It’s a TAV2 30 series, you have to trim the oil fill plug on the engine behind the converter. I cut a notch out of it to clear the converter. I had to do this on the original 212 as well. If you look behind the converter you can probably see where it’s hitting. Hope that helps!
@@TheGarageVlog the belt does not line up correctly for me it's almost like the shaft on the motor is not long enough.
what size are the wheels and tires on the kart
Tires on the flyer are Maxxis EL 10.5x4.5x6 and the wheels are Douglas Q+6” diameter by 6.5” width with a 2.5” offset at all four corners. Thanks for the question!

Ehh the normal 212 is what 120$ right now? Compared to 300? Sounds like the ghost is just for people that want something out of the box.
Something that's not much faster really either lol I don't get the hype, I guess it's more for people that don't want to modify or know how to but would like a tiny performance upgrade lol

@@Todd_G_FPV exactly, it's kind of silly, for 300 bucks I could get the 212 and modify it my self and it would blow a ghost out of the water, or I could atleast just buy 2 of them and slap them both on 😂
