If you want to cheese the mimic tear boss, then you just have to take off all your gear before the fight, wait for the boss to copy your appearance, and put your gear back on. While the mimic year will only have fists to fight you with, you will have all your weapons and armor.
I did that, it was funny watching it try to punch me to death.
I didn’t know and f’d myself pretty much up the first time 😂

Hahaha dude, same. Although I think I'd rather learn that than get stomped and learn that I'm not taking advantage of all the abilities I have. Getting absolutely crushed by myself would be an even harsher blow, I think. It's easier to accept that my character sucks and consider a respec than it is to learn that my character is dope and it's me who sucks.
I'm honestly worried since I'm awful that it's just gonna a version of me that at least has a basic understanding of the game lol

Before you enter the boss fight at 9:20 if you un equip your weapons and gear and start the fight the mimic will spawn with no weapons and gear and u can Re-equip everything and easily kill the mimic hope this helps

Man. My fight was not good. When i went for mimic tear. I had almost 7 spells equiped. One with buff. Other 6 lined so they can be used as combo. Had one of best armor. And max lvl starcourage great sword. My spells were. Erdtree blessing. Lanisaex guy double red spears. Right after it was black flame ritual. Then those flame pillars from fire gaint. Then grasax guy glaive. Then ancient red lightning raining from sky. Hell was my fight difficult. 😂

Yes! I make my mimic tanky with heavy armor and shield then I remove my armor and power stance 2 colossal weapons and smash.
@Chosen One Yep! Just required 1 dragon heart from killing any dragon to acquire the incantation, then 15 faith and 12 arcane to use it. Might have to level those stats a bit first.
I was just wondering about that. I rock a samurai build and my two main setups are the Moonveil +6 with a shield, and Keen Uchigatana +14 with Hoarfrost Stomp + shield, and I switch between one and two handed with the swords so I can use those dope abilities, and I thought having one "me" with Hoarfrost and another "me" with Transient Moonlight would be so cool.
Oh, and Rotten Breath with the Dragon Communion Seal which is just so good.

You can equip yourself with a sleep bomb, when you summon it and then your mimic will have infinite and will throw them constantly

You can also use the dragon seal to make it so you only have to hit him with rot breath once. It increases power of dragon incantations its in the first steps crypt locked behind 2 stone keys
you can also just hold down L1.. it consumes all your FP and basically makes it the same as using the incantation twice
@@iraqy999 that's because it gets used twice I do it for bosses that move too fast to do it normally
@@zrush_daddwags_6957 I had to do that for......a boss fight before the second great lift. That dude was no joke, was right about there I realized overleveling stops being effective after a certain point

Should also pick up the bell bearing along this run, so you know where to hand that over gives you ghost bell bearing allows you to purchase ghost glovewort`s for upgrading your ashes it gives +1 +2 and +3

@@dasyeah2695 Not sure where abouts i picked it up , i was running through area but grabbed anything that was close by, at a guess before you fight boss , either behind the steps you jump down or as you enter boss area there is a fountain kinda thing to left at side of the steps may be there..

If you enter Nokron you have to be blind to miss the bell bearing its literally the first item you see in the area

For those that have trouble with the mimic, just unequip everything and it'll appear naked like your character.

No need to unequip armor, just unequip all weps and then equip 1 of yours after it spawns. It will still only be able to punch and is a walk in the park. Especially if you use the 5 skeletons using greatshields summon along the path, the boss will just punch shields over and over for 2 dmg haha

Yes. The levels really help. I used it at level 1 and it died fast. Upgraded it to 6 and it tanks well and lives a long time
Couldn't you equip with a tanky shield and that item that aggro the enemy then switch them off after summoning

I have a slight problem the bridge portal isnt active and there are only enemys there where the nocs are what do i need to do so i cann start this mission?
Nokron without killing radahn, teleport from siofra river well bank to perfumers grotto, then log out, log back in and you should be outside mimic tear fight in Nokron. As soon as you walk in the door get naked and let the mimic copy you, it will have nothing. Proceed to put your gear on and embrace the easiest fight in the game!

Where is that grotto? Also, what do you mean by log off then log back on?
@@martinmcfly7581 The grotto is on the north side of the bridge After you take the Grand Lift of Dectus, just follow the path then jump down follow the bridge until you see a big plant blocking a cave.The poison plant will be spamming mist, run behind it and you're in the grotto. After you use the grace you log out as in exit the game then reenter. you MUST teleport from siofra river well bank grace to perfume grotto grace then log out. When you log back in you will magically be right in front of the mimic tear door. Remember to be naked before you trigger the boss fight.

Loving the content man. As it happens I just got this summon today and leveled it to plus 5. Can I add how amazing thus is? I missed a riposte on a boss cuz I got hit by another enemy in the fight and the summon walked up and did the riposte for me! Then later I saw it use a flask! Frigging awesome.

That mimic fight was by far the best boss of the game for me. Such a fun concept.
There’s a good rune farm for early players below the dragon Communion side of grace if you keep going southeast to that next sight of grace sit then run back north across the wall the dogs and soldiers will fight and if you run back to the side of grace for up on top of one of the rocks and just let them fight you’ll get around 3500 runes without any buffs. If you kill some of the guards youll get more. Because if you don’t intervene the soldiers will kill the four dogs but if you jump around and kill some of the soldiers or just start killing everything while they’re all fighting you can get around 6500 runes in 3 min. I still do it once in a while!
This gets outdated when you get closer to lvl 100 I farmed in this spot you can round up ALL the dogs and the bird that's on the ledge and soak up all the xp.
Luthl The Headless is also top tier Spirit Summon. That dude is badass.
I have him +4 and I don’t bother summoning people anymore. He might as well be a player lol

Rotten dragons breath is so op and good I use it to kill anything when I get to one health flask lol it’s my ace in the whole and it never lets me down
I know this is an older video but a little tip for this if you are a little bit strong like I was when attempting to fight him just walk into the Mist with crap gear and then quickly switch to your good gear once he is loaded in and he will load in bare-assed with no weapon I literally had him fighting me with the calling Bell because I forgot to take it off LOL and I highly suggest when your parkouring rip your gear to light load it makes it much easier

+10 Black Knife Tiche is pretty op as well. She's quick, super aggressive and constantly engaging with close and long range attacks. Her debuff wrecks bosses.
The only reason I think the mimic is better is because the tiche has a move that instant unagros enemy's from him so he doesnt tank very well
After a lot of tries with +10 Black Knife Tiche, I found I could not kill Radagon fast enough and still have Tiche with enough juice to help out killing the Elden Beast. So I switched to Mimic with the Siluria mask equipped, crushed Radagon so quickly in a melee fight, that Mimic had a nearly full health bar to work with killing the Elden Beast. I used a +25 Banished Knight Halbert to finish the job.
I had used that same Siluvia mask with Mimic against Malenia and we destroyed her on the 4th try.
I did your strat on the boss radahn i did run in small semi circles around him than with the rotten breath it worked very good

Soulsborne games are known for their verticality and interconnectedness, so this really shouldn't surprise me.
Glad I unequipped the Jar Cannon before fighting him. Even before upgrades, the knockback on that thing is nuts.

Currently 100 hrs into the game lvl 60ish, started off with samurai build, re-spec so I could use the dragon incantations, which in my opinion is the difference maker for a lot of the boss fights if u don’t want to be clobbered to death.

Omg bro I already know which spirit u were referring to before I even finished reading ur title. Bro I leveled my mimic spirit to level 10 and I’m ruining bosses with it
Note:Bloody slash works on radhann very well (like most bosses) he’s fairly easy if you stay close and hit him with that every once in awhile
8:50 that loot thing in the middle is the bearing for lvl 1 ghost glovewort
I like Lhutel for ez fights and stuff like that and the mimic for hard bosses. these 2 are really the only ones you need ,:D
