Republic commando is probably the most accurate star wars media when it reflects to real life tactics. There’s actually a video about it in the game in extras section
Yes, I wanted this video since I discovered your first one. I also recently talked with a friend of mine, and I really feel like the Star Wars equipment, maybe with the exeption of the starships, is significanly weaker than what we have on earth. I really have to feel bad for the military engineers having to maintain the AT-AT.
Im at the point where when i see droids in a tank i want to say "Just give me command of the tank and the droid army and ill destroy the entire Clone army for ya."
what? good tactics would indicate more or less an adaptive strategy depending on the threat, but stand your ground is just saying you can murder when facing threat and you dont have an expectation of retreat. (Im not saying its a bad thing , just saying what its intended to establish()
We need less people from Wookieepedia's VIP pages praising what they consider good SW tactics ("according to canon"), and more people with actual military, naval, and governmental experience making videos exposing just how bullcrap everything really is. No more pulling punches!
He shouldve commented on the various Warcrimes committed by the republic (looking at you anakin) and ranked them in order best executed/ most used in reallife
i mean too be fair, most of the real military tactics ARENT tactics to be used for expendable troops too like for example the hallway bit... yes, obivously living soldiers would definetly make sure the side rooms were safe before going deeper into a hallway... but a robot army whos only purpose is to destroy enemy soldiers would obviously destroy enemy soldiers rather than worry about the safety of their troops, since living soldiers are much harder and costlier to replace than robots
Why do we expect fictional scifi to follow the rules of reality and the laws of physics? Obviously Jedi can use the force to draw oxygen to them or even create a bubble of oxygen around them. So thin atmosphere is not an issue. Jedi can use the force to soften their landing from pretty much any height. Also... It's a kids show, so it was made to be funny, and fictional. Relax a bit! Enjoy the ride!
@@matthewmatthew981 Well not following physics is something almost every sci fi does, like star wars, where u can lift shit with ur mind ta know? Which is all well and great! it's fiction after al, and that's why. But breaking the rules and worldbuilding you've obviously established in your fictional universe is another matter. THAT break immersion and ruins it usually.

maybe taking a look the Republic commando for the next vid...
TBF trying to run away from
Droids is a really bad idea because as long as their batteries don’t run out they wont ever stop.
3:57 when the AT-TE falls down, you can hear the Lego Star Wars droid death sound.

An automatic rifle would scrap any weaker jedi
@@ttry1152 they probably can still sense it coming, can dodge or push your gun to miss
@@jslloyd3581 i don't care how fast you are a 30mph laser bolt vs 700mph bullet with about 20 of those all at onvd

2:41 This cracked me so hard
Regarding them not jumping out of the Twilight at the same time, I'm pretty sure it wasn't moving. But the lack of oxygen masks is inexcusable.
About the house break in my counter point he could be in a stand your ground state

Fans arguing about imaginary tactics are kind of off topic
This is so well done, sad that it doesnt get more attention
I'm confused is this video to show accuracy or inaccuracy. I feel like it did both lol.
0:39 When you fights your brother:
You were my brother Anakin!
Well, I mean... That's real.
7:04 who needs explosives when you have LIGHTSABERS?!
Stormtroopers

It seems like most of the 'real tactics' they use are also the kind that have been declared war crimes.
6:20 maybe pause for a moment, to make the enemy think they hit them?

Because it completely defies the suspension of disbelief and makes it essentially impossible to be intellectually invested in whatever is happening?
