  • This tutorial series has 11 tutorials, In this tutorial we are going to look into some of the advanced features of wave-sequencing, we are going to see how we can use the shape, gate and step seq lanes to create more interesting melody lines and use that in a complete performance which we also are going to create in this tutorial.
    The following topics are covered:
    00:00 introduction shape concept
    01:29 build the melody line
02:13 build the melody line (pitch lane)
    04:33 shape lane
    08:51 create the performance
    11:32 gate lane
    14:50 step seq lane
    18:00 performance settings
    18:46 outro
For this tutorial it is important that you understand the basic wave sequencing features like the timing, sample and pitch lanes. I do this rather quickly in this tutorial but the more detailed explanation is done in tutorial 3 and 4 of this series.

Very many thanks for this series on the Wavestate. I have managed to work my way slowly thorough each one and I'm sure I would not have easily found much of this in the manual. Have you ever thought about writing a book on Wavestate? I think you would sell quite a few.😊

Great tutorial as always ,but i think that the shape lane can't modulate any parameters .Only pitch or/and strep seq lanes ,as manual says .Or is it something i don't know .Anyway your tutorials are gold !!!!

you can use the shape lane to modulate almost any parameter in the wavestate. The way it works is that you assign the shape lane to your seq lane. That lane can be assigned to almost any parameter. So you can create your own value lane based on shapes that way.

@@quirobinez Oh perfect .It would took me decades to figure this out ,and all of the other things you mention to your videos .Thanks
