Ok I am about to give up on these people. What effort are we talking about? Liverpool threw away the game in both halves. Forget the eye test or the number of shots the X.G was 0.9 to 3.9. Seriously the first goal was an un-forced error and the second as exceptional & brilliant the goal was, it was defensive lapse to allow so much time and space in a dangerous spot in the box. However, just like the CIty game all front 3 plus the mid field failed to make it count. Fair play to UTD, as how they rallied in the 5-10 minute bursts at the start of the game and around the goals. The penalty, was an absolute penalty because of the contact. They keep saying Elliot was on the way down. He was upright at the point of contact. It is not upto Elliot's to jump over a challenge that is not winning the ball and is in the penalty area. Slow-mo does not tell you the actual speed of the incident.
