@@JamesStonleywith that logic you're saying Henning Berg, Dennis Irwin, Ronny Johnson, Nicky Butt etc were world class?

@@CDK11Denis Irwin was 100% world class in his time. Ronny Johnson was a solid CB slightly under rated over time. The others were just squad players

So much better than most football podcasts because yes Gary has a structure planned but he gives space for the player to fully answer, doesn't rush on to the next topic and let's the conversation flow off on tangents. He also actually listens to the answers when so many interviewers show that they haven't listened by asking a later question that has already been covered.

Good interview. Good interaction between the two & a mutual liking & respect between them, The lad is a very thoughtful guy, very grounded & looking to improve as a player. Seems to be quite caring as well with his academy work.

When I saw him make his comeback last match, I thought that might make Liverpool fans more optimistic. Conor Bradley has been adequate but he’s too lightweight and untried. A fit Trent is like a beacon of hope for the last 7 or so games.

This got better and better as it went on. The ending segment was especially good. Very interesting to hear how Gary had anxiety before the games throughout his 600-game career and just kind of got on with it. And then you hear how these freak talents like Trent and Rooney are the opposite and can't wait to express themselves on the pitch. I agree with them that they should start a podcast! Could've listened to more of this!
