So it's October.... I've made 1.5 of these since last November. I'm pretty sure I've forgotten how to crochet, but I'm back and I'm going to have 4 perfect stockings before Dec 24th. This will be the turning point for 2020! That's my pep talk and now I have to find the correct hook.
Beautiful. I made mine. The big ones are just tooo big for me. So i made the small ones.
Did a little adjustment. After row 10, i added 2 more rolls, because it looked weird. Now the toe looks a little more normal. And on the heel, i added one more row.
When i came to the last 2 rows 44 n 45 i added more stitches. 3 or 4 more will help the collar fold a little looser. I also found brown wood stocking intials at hobby lobby for 1.50. They are gorgeous.
I added different cuffs. You can change it up. Its still very beautiful.
And last thing. You can use regular yarn and double it up and you will get the exact same effect. That way you can use different colors. I used red heart, regular yarn.
I also used 6 bulky yarn.
I am a begining crocheter...I was looking for an easy stocking with only SC. I've watched a few videos and they all have DC and HDC so this is perfect! You explain everything so well. thank you!!
Such a pretty little Christmas Stocking. Love the fur on the top.
Love Love Love this. I ordered all my yarns... My daughter and I will be making these adorable stockings!!

Thank you for the pattern! I will say that I had to follow both the video and the printed pattern on your website to understand. I made two stockings for my dogs and they look really good. I'm now making a paw print applique to stitch on them.

I love the stocking and easy to make. I will make one for my new granddaughter for her first Christmas. Thank you Dani!
is it wearable or just decor?
thatsss likeee sooooo cuttteee
Love this pattern. So pretty. Can you tell us the colors that you used for the yarn as well as the faux fur?
Super super
Tkank you for the pattern. It was very easy to follow. Not sure why, but my piece went out very big, too big in my opinion. I used the same yarn type and hook size. But I will try make it smaller by changing your instructions. Once again, thanks for this ❤
Thos stocking is super cute, thank you 😊
You’re welcome! ♥️
What does increase and without increases mean?
Beautiful! Would you mind telling us the dimensions of the stocking please? Thank you!
Watched the whole tutorial. Now it is time to make seven of these. 😅 Wish me luck.
Good luck! 💕❄️
Row 5.... is it stitch 3 single ones and then on the fourth stitch do 2 sc or does the increase happen on the third one. Please someone help. Rookie over here.
Please tell me which size is made this sock
Its so beautiful ❤️
Can i use this pattern in red heart yarn????
I always look at comments to see if anyone else has messed up somehow like me… never such luck hah
How can I adjust this pattern to be used with bulky yarn and a 6.5 needle? Really like one of the yarns I already have for this project. Tha k you!!
💕👍❤️❤️❤️
mental note: on row 9 - sc
9-14 - sc no increases
So cute!! How many yards of yarn do you need?
This is incredible and easy to follow! Thank you so much!
If I wanted to use other yarn to do the top could I? If so reg yah like this. And still fold over? And how many rows?
i am going to try this with a white super bulky yarn instead of the fur and see how it goes. using red for the sock part 😱 hoping it turns out as it is for my daughter for her first christmas
How do i keep ending up with 38 stitches by the time i get to the heal instead of 30? I follow instructions exactly. I even restarted the entire thing and still ended up with same amount of stitches. What amni doing wrong? 😢
Beautiful. Have a question. Does the seam run up the back of the stocking and heel? And when making the hanger you sc over 6 stitches from the seam then do your loop. Why is loop not in center of the seam? I must be confused
It’s not in the center because crochet tends to like swirl i guess u could say, so to get it in the right section u have to do 6 more sc.
I love to do it! But I feel I cannot! I never did it!🤭
Maybe because she didn't give us a stitch count. I got lost too.
i was wondering the dimensions of the small and large stocking?
Hello can you give me measures this stocking?
I had a problem. I did not end up with 30 stitches after the heal at top of foot. The end result was not a foot shaped stocking.
I had the same problem 😢
I had the same problem 😢
Please make a men/ women/kid size pattern🙏
This looked so fun then I saw how much the yarn was... It's 50$ for on yard....
I get yarn from estate sales insanely cheap or you can buy large boxes off eBay.
I don’t know what a magic loop is and how to do it.
There is alot of good videos here on youtube. Search on ”magic loop crochet” good luck
This is confusing I have been watching for an hour and redoing my rounds. How am I increasing vs single crochet they look like the same thing.
I'm pretty sure increasing means going back through the same stitch once more before moving on to the next one. That way you slowly get more stitches
Increasing means: two stitches in one stitch. You make two single crochet instead of one :)
I had the same problem. I ended up with way more than 30 stitches. Can someone explain the increases. I understand it as you said. Increase is two sc in one stitch. Not sure what I did wrong. Help!
I believe I figured out what I did wrong. Thank you
