The best tutorial/review of any equipment I've ever seen. This is JUST what a musician needs to see and herar - no showing off, no blather, clear as a bell. Well done! and thankyou. Just bought one of these and can't wait to have a play!
Thank you Robbie! Best video I've ever seen for the RC-3. Clear explanations, perfect video presentation, easy to follow and understand. Three hours after watching your video, I've got 5 loops saved, jammed along with them and added tracks, and I'll be using my loops at tonight's gig.
This is perfect. I’m approaching one year on guitar as a born again musician, and decided to get a legit looper pedal as a reward. I’m pretty settled on the BOSS RC-3 for the best combination of features and price, and this how to video on that model is certainly a plus. I’ll look at others just to make sure, but this is probably what I’ll get.
Ahhhhhhhhh - yes thank you. Other tutorials the guys are showing off for minutes and telling you what chords are being played etc . We just want to know how to use the looper is all.
Great tutorial..I watched Martys and Justins and yours was clearer ty..but no-one seems to show how to connect the leads and where they go ..and that would be a great help..any surfing i go..to try to find one ty anyway..
Thank you so much for this very helpful tutorial, I bought the same pedal yesterday. One question can I import to the pedal also recorded songs from my computer through sub or aux and save them on the pedal or only loops are possible? Thanks
Hi Robbie, thanks for the video,,,good job...please excuse my ignorance but if i want to use output B...does that mean i can plug in another speaker or amplifier?...yes i know...i am a one amp 3 pedal guy who has a basic understanding of technology...cheers.
if you're happy with what you've played, can you connect the output to some software that will enable you to see your music displayed as notes and chords on a staff? or tab?
Great tutorial, thanks! I bought this over the ditto as this has three hours of looping vs 5 on the ditto so for my ambient guitar stuff it's essential and the switch is a little more comfortable as it's bulkier. I don't really care for the drum loops. Hope I'll be happy with it in the long run
can you change the drum grooves. Like if i created a drum groove in a midi and then import that into the pedal to replace one of the original drum grooves?
I have a rc-3 also, works great! I did something that I didn't know it could do. I layered 3 different rythums (sp)? on it and I was tapping the pedal and my first rythum remained but the other two disappeared. And I can't remember how I did it. Do you know how to do that function? Thanks.
I can't do a loop. I mean I record my guitar but the loop is not continuous. It stop for a seconds and then go on. I've tried by all means. I did recording Auto, and normal but I didn't make it. Does anyone can help me ? Thank you
I bought one, learned how to use it, put it back in the box, and there it sits three years later. It got on my nerves playing the same things over and over. You cannot put multiple loops together to create a useful song. I love Boss equipment but until they let you group at least four loops together this is merely a tool for beginners to jam with themselves. Try to get your hands on a Boss DR-5 Dr Rhythm Section and put together entire songs.
Rc3 is pedal which stores your loops and has 10 grooves to jam with. Rc1 is a simple looper. It can't store loops and no groove. Hope this helped:) Happy jamming!!!
Good video, just a shame these people completely ignore the comments section, including my comment as well of course. People asking questions will not get a answer.
Great video! I got a question though: between the loops there is like a three seconds pause, can I get rid of it to have like a non-stop, continuous loop? Thanks a lot guys.
good explanation. but I'm disappointed with my RC-3. too may functions and not enough dedicated switches. should have ignored the hype and bought a Ditto looper. keep it simple silly
You need footswitch to simplify it, boss fs-6 or fs-7 comes with 2 switch or you can have 3 switch just add an extra fs-5. Those annoying double functions will be a 1 tap on your footswitches. You can control tempo, drums, clearing and other stuff.
Too much hassle just play more technology more problems less is more yeh all fine for a one man band outfit can't imagine faffing about in acpub gig was that pedal 🤔👎🏴

Just bought one of these and can't wait to have a play!
Best Looper pedal tutorial I've seen, especially since I have this exact same looper pedal.
Thanks!

Good vid and helped me get started with my RC-3. Thanks for making this for us!
Thanks for your time Robby. Just what I wanted to see. I was thinking of the rc30 but I see this is good enough
This is the clearest tutorial......thanks,Geoff
This is the combination peddles I’m interested in, thanks for your demonstration 👍
The best loop lesson!
Great explanation. Thanks so much. A lot better than just trying to figure it out with the manual.

You can reprogram the record sequence. Press record press playback press overdub. Hold tempo button while powering up.
Robbie knows his stuff. I have several of his Truefire courses, and all were money well spent.
Great "how to" video. Thank you.
I love your shirt
excellent.. easy to understand, ty.
excellent tutorial ty

Ahhhhhhhhh - yes thank you. Other tutorials the guys are showing off for minutes and telling you what chords are being played etc . We just want to know how to use the looper is all.
If you jam by yourself , this is the pedal for you. I’ve had one for years and it’s my favorite pedal on my board.
Great tutorial..I watched Martys and Justins and yours was clearer ty..but no-one seems to show how to connect the leads and where they go ..and that would be a great help..any surfing i go..to try to find one ty anyway..
This helps thanks
Please do a series on the RC300
Thank you so much for this very helpful tutorial, I bought the same pedal yesterday. One question can I import to the pedal also recorded songs from my computer through sub or aux and save them on the pedal or only loops are possible? Thanks
This video is great. You cover more scenarios of what this does. The long press, the short press the double press. Very confusing if you didn't know
Hi Robbie, thanks for the video,,,good job...please excuse my ignorance but if i want to use output B...does that mean i can plug in another speaker or amplifier?...yes i know...i am a one amp 3 pedal guy who has a basic understanding of technology...cheers.
Good video

Thanks for this you are Great!!!
if you're happy with what you've played, can you connect the output to some software that will enable you to see your music displayed as notes and chords on a staff? or tab?
Did you buy the gee-tar to match the shirt of the other way round ??? Excellent informative video mate.
I'm using loopers for my music and it's been a lot of fun! Let me know if you like my tunes, and have a great day!
I had a shot of a rc30 and it had a "single shot playback" mode. Does the rc3 have the same feature? Your tutorial is very good easy to follow
I have an RC30 too. Have you found dedicated tutorials to that?
can you change the drum grooves. Like if i created a drum groove in a midi and then import that into the pedal to replace one of the original drum grooves?
If I have a multi fx pedal with a looper built in, is it worth it to buy a single specialized looper?
I didnt understand the count in? Does it count in for 4 bars??
I have a rc-3 also, works great! I did something that I didn't know it could do. I layered 3 different rythums (sp)? on it and I was tapping the pedal and my first rythum remained but the other two disappeared. And I can't remember how I did it. Do you know how to do that function? Thanks.
Rhythm, i still have problems with the h
Because if you hold it it removes everything but the first part
where does the battery go in this pedal? help
How do I turn of the metronome
I can't do a loop. I mean I record my guitar but the loop is not continuous. It stop for a seconds and then go on. I've tried by all means. I did recording Auto, and normal but I didn't make it. Does anyone can help me ? Thank you
Do all loopers become quieter in playback?
Robert Barrera there is nob to control the volume (,the small one on the left)

how can i loop without the rhythm
Why not show how to lay down attack with the drum machine ?!?
What or the defense between a Boss Rc-1 / Boss RC-3
Rc3 is pedal which stores your loops and has 10 grooves to jam with.
Rc1 is a simple looper. It can't store loops and no groove.
Hope this helped:)
Happy jamming!!!
changing patterns via footswitch?
Yes. You need to have 2-buttons footswitch. For example, Boss fs-6.
Good video, just a shame these people completely ignore the comments section, including my comment as well of course. People asking questions will not get a answer.
david bowie doin vids now?
Great video! I got a question though: between the loops there is like a three seconds pause, can I get rid of it to have like a non-stop, continuous loop? Thanks a lot guys.
Haha
