Pre-recorded guest questions came from Joe Wicks, Nick Hewer, Joey Essex, Laura and Jason Kenny, Derren Brown, Ollie Locke from Made in Chelsea and Darcey Bussell. Jonnie Peacock provided the in-studio guest question in the form of sporting celebrations. The children of Mitchell Brook Primary School acted out the Napster lawsuits. Jon Snow reported on The Weather Girls' "It's Raining Men". Charles Dance read confusing movie reviews from Amazon customers. The London Philharmonic Choir appeared to sing popular hip-hop and rap tunes in a choral style for the final question.

No pairing on this show will ever be as amazing as Richard and Noel.
A classic duo that hopefully will be remembered throughout the ages
I rate bad dong above any of the Richard & Noel appearances but that may be down to the joke rather than the pairing.
Right?? When they’re not on the show, it’s only half as good.
@@DavidChongbad dong + Richard and Noel on one episode would be interesting
Do you not rate Russell and Noel better? That’s still my favourite pairing.
Noel Fielding and Richard Ayoade presenting The Great British Bake Off would be the greatest.
I just commented above that if Alison can't make it for a filming this series, I hope they call Richard!!
It's nice to see Moss continuing his game show career, and even bringing Richmond along with him!
He just finished his milk. 😎
"OH....bloody hell!"
The idea of someone walking up to the ghost face killer and yelling "CITIZENS ARREST" had me buckled ... Richard and Noel are just brilliant
"Who's that, all the Bee Gees?" - All The Beatles
Underrated comment 😂😂😂
@@sportymcsports This is a strange situation: I wrote this so long ago that I don't even get my own joke 🤣
@@ReadTheShrill Let me explain your brilliance then: Noel had a look at one of the clips where they have celebrity ask the quiz question. His reply was “Who’s that, all The Bee Gees?” which was freaking spot on and hysterical! You, however, one upped an already brilliant joke by very cleverly pointing out that Noel himself, is all the Beatles. And I’m still laughing! 🤣🤣🤣
Noel and Richard feel like two gods of chaos who have been sealed in mortal bodies, but the don't know it yet.
Oh they know it 😂
Noel telling Richard if he dies he'll make sure his kids are allright... thats the sweetest thing said on this show
honestly though!!
I love Richard Ayoade! His comedy delivery is my absolute favorite!
Noel & Richard are the best duo to ever grace this show 😂
A Jimmy Carr pez-dispenser would have to make his trademark laughing sound each time you press it
I would definitely buy one of those.
@@jarvinator100too annoying
I really wish there was a cut of this where all you can hear is Richard and Noel's mics the entire time.
The prompt and matter-of-factly statement of the team name "cafe vape" had me in stitches for half a minute 😂😂
I will watch this entire thing just for Richard
Wichard
And Megan
Happy was the day when I discovered all this brilliance. I never tire of these.
Charles Dance is not only an amazing actor. He is also comic gold ❤❤❤
He was brill when he appeared on _Would I Lie to You?_ in 2013.
John snow dancing to it’s raining men is worth watching the whole thing
Jimmy telling the snake ‘no’ like it’s a dog was hilarious! 😂
Richard smiling is a sight to behold! (occurs only when seated next to Noel ?)
and bob mortimer
@@mtrps_ and greg davies ofc
I ship it lol
@@dyl4399 of course there bad dong brothers.
@@chaoticneutral6288Always some twat gotta spoil it for everyone
That was awfully brave of them to have a giant constrictor snake and two small yappy dogs on the same show.
Didn't sound very yappy. Are you the pioneer of a post-modernist definition of yappy where no sound is involved?
I would love to see Richard Ayoade play in a game show against or with Brennan Lee Mulligan
Same being, opposite ends of the spectrum
As a Richard ayoade enjoyer with a gf who LOVES Brennan Lee Mulligan, this might be the idea of the century
you are so real for this
The crossover of a lifetime
I LOVE that Jon Snow & Charles Dance do reads/skits for the show!
Jon Snow is always the best part of The Big Fat Quiz 🤣🤣
Shame that they didn't continue that with Cathy Newman or Matt Frei now Jon Snow's retired.
I would have said Krishnan Guru-Murthy, but did you see him on Strictly?
It's genuinely so sad that they didn't bring jon snow onto the 2023 episode.
@@crashawashere His last appearance was BFQ of Everything in early 2021. He retired from Channel 4 News before he could film appearances for the BFQs later that year.
This episode was definitely Jon's greatest dance performance 😂
I love how when the snake is out noel went to david for comfort 😂
1:34:23 I love how Noel is just death staring the camera
Great show! And I would totally buy an album of RnB/hip-hop songs performed by the Philharmonic Orchestra. That was awesome!
Richard is ON FIRE this episode!
I honestly thought they must give him some of the questions in advance, so he can write hilarious joke answers for them - because some of them were so clever, and it really feels like they barely give them any time to think up an answer, much less to write it out.
@@HRHDMKYTwait til you find out about editing!!
"Give us a swallow, Jimmy" 😂
This is like re living middle school 😂
especially with Noel and Richard 😂
Technically Noel and Richard should've got a point saying one of the Doctor's enemies was himself, because of the Trial of a Timelord arc which called in an "evil" version of the Doctor known as the Valeyard.
Is that the one caused by space pollen? I was literally thinking that he should have gotten one for that episode too.
Nnnnnnneeerrrrds!!
@@michellekennedy454 No, the space pollen was from the Eleventh Doctor's era, which manifested a subconscious evil who called himself the Dream Lord; the Valeyard was from classic Who, during the Sixth Doctor's time - Valeyard was suggested to be an evil version of the Doctor that exists between his (as of then) unseen 12 and 13 versions
Love how David's been mocking Jonathan's R for the whole first half of the show, then goes on to blunder Schlclindlerls list 🤣
It's still amazing to me that they somehow get Jon Snow to dance to the songs. Is it in his contract that he has to do the joke news reads, and then dance to the songs after? Or is he actually just a fun guy who is very stoic on the news?
I think the latter
Everyone has to let go sometimes and lets be honest, it is a proper banger of a tune 😎
He gets paid to let loose. He's contracted under channel 4, but his hire is for the news, this is just for shits and giggles but he gets paid to do it, man's winning.
Is it just me or does Joe Wicks look.a bit like Russell Brand?
Weird bits are missing and cut out, but still love this.
noel smoothing the puppy is the cutest thing ever 1:20:47
Noel's story of dressing up as Gene Simons is just so endearing.
Richard Ayoade has KIDS??!!!! 😮
jonathon ross' photograph story really pulled me in
" thats a wheel dog " the way Jonathan talks is hilarious
i am in love with noel
It's amazing that virtually every time someone gets confused about whether they're supposed to say or write the answers.
Little did Aisling know she would be ON Doctor Who in a few years.
Noel Fielding is my spirit animal.
I feel like Noel and Richard could win - as they are ahead in the first half - but eventually they opt to sabotage themselves, so end up losing in the second half.
I think so too. But I’m torn; I also think maybe they were given some easy stuff at the beginning to keep them interested in competing and not just going for the joke towards the end
Woohoo another full one ,thanks to everyone involved, love from the Netherlands!!!❤🤍💙
not really full. various clips cut out, and also actual questions cut out. eg 36:15
I went to see this one live and have to say richard ayoade stole the show. Even standing up for jimmy carr when the rest of the panel were peer pressuring him to lie down on the floor while they jumped over him.
Yay, another full episode. This is a nice surprise 🎉
It's been out for years.
David Williams is probably the my least favourite guest on the show but Richard Noel and David are the best craic on it
Worse than Mel B?
fr
Come on jimmy, keys in the bowl… 😂🍍🍍🍍
5:09 "The W from Woss" 🤣
I could watch Noel and Richard all day
27:35 Richard and the puppy
This is one of my fav episodes ngl
What an afternoon treat!
Thank you very much!
I just found this channel and I have to say it's neither a tiny guitar nor a ukulele...it's a Banjo. lol 😂
First show to keep my adhd a$$es attention for the whole time. Found a new favorite show 😂
Wow 2018 still had internet browsing history jokes
Maybe greatest quiz ever
How David Walliams ever got a career I will never understand
I think the creepy fecker is pretty much finished though.
Totally agree. What annoys me most is his arrogant, self-satisfied, oily and deeply unpleasant smugness... My old mum used to describe him as a "I love myself - what's your hobby?" type. She was right!
@@rikkinadir7979 That type of grandiose, vulnerable narcissism is usually the result of significant childhood trauma.
i mean he wrote a lot of my childhood books (im 15) so i think thats what keeps him going
plus i think hes kinda funny
David is hilarious!
Yes, Richard, there is an inconsistency there, with the Weather Girls singing ``It's Raining Men;'' which came first, the song or the band?
The song. It was originally written and performed by someone else then given to a faux-group The Weather Girls
God i love David walliams so much XD, his loud humour is so funny to me, when he was trying to teach Jonathan the pronunciation and was getting it wrong himself. Comedy gold. Might just be my australian humour but i love when he pretends to be peeved at jimmy XD. Just the “this is bullshit” kills me
nah hes kinda acting like a dickhead.
Noel ran from that snake when the tiny dogs should have been the ones running 🤭
I love Kathrine Ryan and Aisling Bea together ❤
"All the Beegees😂"
Ok I know this show kicks absolute ass when I actually get all 3 albums
Enema of the State? Hell yes BFQ, maybe it's just me but I don't often expect to see a band like Blink given much coverage on British panel shows lol
This would be my favorite episode if it weren't for David Walliams
Whats wrong with David Walliams?
I was about to like because i thought you said it was your favourite because of david walliams 😂. I love him so much, the 2011 big fat quiz ofnthe year is my absolute fav because of him and miranda. Idk i guess i just love his humour
@skyraven9079 I hate his sniveling childish "I'll tell on you to teacher" shtick in these shows. He's creepy in other ways, I can't get the image of him wrapping his whole body around Fabio's leg in Countdown. Him and Miranda were the worst pairing in BFQ, it was him doing and saying weird stuff and her awkwardly playing off it or literally following him around. I mean in her defense it was probably do that or get seen as a stiff mother. I find him to be pretty indefensible though.
fr
I am so in love with Noel❤
It’s Richards delivery for me 😂
I just learned that Noel is Old Gregg
"Dimebag" Darrell from Pantera was buried in a KISS Kasket.
@1:16:00, simply outstanding from Noel.
Never met such a perfect DUO (Rich & Noel)....
36:14 guessing there was a trademarking issue with the movie clip they showed…too bad.
Jimmy Carr doing the robot, is that him auditioning to be a new member of Kraftwerk?! 🤔🤭
1:08 - Before any anti-science or religious peeps get too angry about the notion that [quote] "Humans used to be monkeys", or that we evolved from them, please be assured that we didn't. We shared a common ancient ancestor and developed along entirely different evolutionary paths, retaining many of the traits (and much of the DNA) that all successful primates exhibit to this day.
That's why humans still have vestigial tails and babies have a strong grip-reflex. And it's why there are still monkeys AND humans around, both doing well, thanks very much. We're not brothers and sisters to other apes, and they're not desperately trying to evolve into people.
We're all just very, very, very (very) distant cousins.
not that distant at all, we are genetically closer to chimpanzees+bonobos than chimpanzees+bonobos are to gorillas, and gorillas are closer to humans than they are to orang-utans. taxonomically speaking it makes no sense to put all non-human great apes into one group, and us humans in our own exclusive group. this idea that humans are so very very (very) distant from the rest of the animal kingdom is a religious one, i don't understand why you would play into it while trying to defend science
also, the statement is not really _that_ wrong because if you go back far enough, all us modern apes share an ancestor that we would probably consider a monkey if we saw it - the misunderstanding is usually that people don't understand that we are talking about an _extinct_ species that branched out into different paths, not that some monkeys just stayed the same while some others randomly pokemon-evolved into full-fledged homo sapiens
Me and every other Asimov fan shouting what about the zeroth law Jonathan? Go for the kill 😂😂😂
❤😍 Noel ❤😍
John Snow is everybody’s drunk uncle at a wedding 😂😂😂😂
I mean, a sport for Tarzan would probably be swimming, Johnny Weissmuller, one of his more famous portrayers was an Olympic swimmer
Thanks for this XD
🎉
This is what I think of when I think of comedy, not American game shows.
"I'm an art student, he's a twat". Walliams did not like that at all.
David Walliams is always so keen to be the ambassador of whatever so I suggest he should be earths ambassador on Mars, and why not have him fly away as soon as he can pack a suitcase.
Where can I find the most recent big fat quiz ?😩😫
That was fun!
i've never seen richard ayoade break character before
LOL why doesn't this have 10 times the likes and comments it has?
That guy jumping on eggs was absolutely ridiculous. Should be called the guy who jumps over eggs 🥚 without even touching them 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂5
Honestly, you can tell how many people dislike David in this, the last time he was on was painful for Rob and now Jonathan
He does seem rather insufferable, doesn’t he? Even though he & his partner were leading through the *entire* show, he still complains when he has the answer wrong and begs to be given points regardless, and Jimmy refuses. Poor sport, even as a ‘winner’.
Banana!!! Good to see you sweetie 💛💛💛💛
I've not seen this one!
Wait. Yes, I have.
My god the amount of ads in this thing is painful
Get an ad blocker you amateur 😂
I thought Richard said Caffeine Vape at first. are those a thing?
You have far too many ads, it's annoying. Put an ad at every ad break in the show and not every 5-10mins
Idk if it's changed now if I only got one add at the beginning and that was it for the whole video ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
I feel that the "W from Woss" joke was a bit underappreciated.
Katherine and Aisling representing Ireland on BFQ, so it was lucky they were allocated the green desk! 😉
Kissing in a wind tunnel😅😅
Why would you cut out all the clips?

Google it.😂

George Formby played a banjo
He played the banjolele, a hybrid of the ukulele and banjo. Not a banjo.
Congratuwelldone
25:21 One of the rare moments that almost breaks Richard!
Along with the "make a citizen arrest" at 39:47
43:50 too!
